This video has helped me a lot to take a decision of buying the CBR 650R - 2022. Thanks, @strell. Happy owner of the beautiful CBR 650R - 2022 - Black. Love from Kolkata. ❤️
I recently bought a CB350RS. Initially I was planning to go for a FZ-X but my friend convinced me to go for a bigger bike. I wasn't sure whether I could handle a 350CC bike. Now that I have a little over 2000km under my belt, I feel comfortable and want an even bigger bike which has a faring. CBR650R is now on my watchlist and I hope to buy it sometime in the future.
Go for Ninja 1000 SX eyes closed, why? Great power, inline 4, 1000 cc, cruise control, quick shifter, auto blipper, japanese, faired, great road presence, awesome performance, loads of electronics the list is insane. Now you will tell me why spend more? Then why someone would pay a whooping 10.5 for a 650cc bike which is not great for touring. Practically honda might be selling the bike but the product is rubbish I was eagerly waiting for it for 1 year and when I heared from honda guys that I have to bear transport cost for the bike, then I thought why the hell I will buy a over priced underpowered bike just for fairing LOL. Immediately changed my mind and booked Z900 eyes closed and my bike will delivered next week as it's waiting for registration to be finished. So the final thinking is if you are fanboy of honda then only consider this otherwise be practical and choose the right one, looks will be fading away because with time there will be many bikes in the market and the charm of your exclusive bike will go away.
@@Flash80085 Well for the price it comes and compared to competitors thats underpowered for sure, but in reality 90 BHP is a lot for indian roads. Even duke 390 is way more powerfull for indian roads. So I told that in different sense. And cbr650F is not in sale anymore. I made the comment for someone who is not a honda fanboy and want something value for money. I am sorry if I hurt any honda fanboy.
@@rananaskar306 dude i am not a honda fanboy If u ask about 600cc category, i personally love r6 (even though discontinued) I was just making a point, cbr650r touches 275 top speed and looks beautiful and it's a honda so reliability runs in it's veins
@@Flash80085 I agree with you to some intent but like I said, practically it's way too overpriced and that was my whole point. If you see feature wise it's lacking so many things at that price point. I mentioned about 1000SX because if someone does not mind putting extra 2-3 lakhs for sports tourer then why not consider ninja, that's what I said mainly. I was in love with CBR650R for the last two year before I decided to book it and then I came to know the reliability of honda bigwings LOL. I can spend extra 10k for service and I don't want that kind of meh experience for my bike. What experience? Try booking CBR650R right now from any bigwing and you will know the truth. I was eager to get one but why do you think I have choosen Z900 over that beautifull machine? Try yourself and you will know for sure. Good luck.
Actually waiting for your cbr 650r's detailed ownership review about actual maintenance cost after free services, availability & Cost of of spares parts and how is it to own CBR 650R for long term usage like 5 - 6 years.
Along with the new price tag for 2021 there are upgrades @strell. Some important 1s Chassis n suspension - forged to pressed (4.2 pounds weight saving), upgraded Showa separate function big piston forks and a better LCD display
I own a trident 660(torque monster)..done around 2000 kms .....low end 3600 rpm bike starts to pull you back and mid range performance is something you can't compare with its class ....top speed is 210(not bad for indian roads) best handling bike (189 kgs with full fuel).... very lightweight feel and butter smooth when riding . ....if you want to do serious high speed.....thn please don't buy trident go with other options 👍👍 triumph service interval 1 year or 16 k kms...best in class and service cost ( no free service available like honda ) 1 st service costed me 7 k ✌️✌️✌️as always great comparison video brother 🔥🔥🔥🔥please post videos frequently
awesome comparison, I was owner of Ninja650 completely agree with your review. I changed the exhuast to MIVV Mk3 it became super loud worst sounding bike :(
Please do a detailed ride and touring review of triumph street tripple r... You are the best reviewer who not only just reviews but aslo makes us feels the machine from the screen... Please make it👍
CBR650R (2021+) is the one to get for 13000 rpm inline-4 fun on the street. Ninja 650 for commuting, it's more comfortable and wider / taller fairing, _especially_ with a Corbin seat. wrt Triumph, I will be blunt, forget about the Trident 660 and Street Triple 765, go straight to the Speed Triple 1200 RS when you are ready for a premium torquey triple.
I didn't want to include a liter class in the video 😁.but it came out from me. Anyway will be getting one for a ride. Will talk about that in detail 😊✌
@@iamstrell Oh fantastic! Will be looking forward for that video. In terms of cost they differ by a few lakhs I would love to know in terms of acceleration, thrill and big bike feel is N1000sx worth the extra. Not the top speed.
Such long gears!! With my Duke 390 I get to shift gears all the time. With that bike I could ride from home to work without changing gear. Also careful going so fast on the CBR650R. It doesnt have a steering damper so if you hit a bump, you might lose control.
As a beginner in a middleweight segment used bike I've getting 2 options 1st Daytona 2 cbr650r reason I love Daytona r is ohlines 270 top which I never gonna achieve whistle sound cbr for that sexy look inline 4 sound like an liter class but end up only at 240 top... Sorry if I'm wrong
Those people who think Ninja 650 is a better motorcycle than CBR650R in any place should give up the idea of riding because there is no way that bike is better than the CBR.
Wait a minute are you cruising at 65 in 6th gear that's amazing. In this list the only bike i have personally experienced is z650, its a versatile bike, like all reviewers say its a best first big bike. Service as you mentioned is expensive around 9k for general service and spares availability is a bit scares.
Nice video buddy but sadly 600cc segment in india is all dull and bland. We seriously dont have options. Even after spending a good amount of money we will have to settle for somethings missing kind of feeling. Cbr650 is kind of sweetest spot but pricing certainly disappoints and my biggest gripe is bad illumination from stock lights. If Anything is added on it will kill the looks. Also i would like to disagree on the point that Kawasaki parts are cheaper. They cost bomb imo.
Just upgrade the bulb to LED. I did that with my bike as well as I don't like AUX lights. Just use a good bulb and you are good to go. Not the best option of course but a good LED bulb can provide a lot more illumination over the stock halogen.
@@brendonfernandes2877 we are talking about 650r. And that comes with factory fitted LEDs headlights. But that seems like an array of LEDs instead of a single bulb therefore upgrading it with better bulb doesn't seems feasible
@@WingRiderRishabh No I don't have the Honda. I didn't realise that the Honda has a non standard led light setup. That sucks. My friend had a Honda cbr 650F and he simply swapped out the old Halogen for a cyclops led and it worked wonders. Sad you can't do that for the Honda cbr 650R
@@brendonfernandes2877 yes 650F had that kind of setup. But honda sacrificed the practicality in favour of appeal in 650R Sadly most of the manufacturers are going that way now
If budget allows then definitely 1000SX. Its one of the best value for money motorcycle. You will get everything more in this, along with lots of electronics. It is a much better tourer machine than CBR and it also looks better.
@@udayrajiitb well we can't argue about the looks as its a personal choice. If you give more preference to look, then go for CBR since you liked it's look better.
I have owned triple s, cb650r and now a 1000 Sx. The ninja is leagues better thank the naked Honda. Ninja is better than street triple but they are in different class. The lightness of the triple s means I enjoy that also and it is much cheaper. What did you end up with ?
The thing is honda company wont max out there engines that much when compared to others. Because when the engine power is maxed out there reliability and longevity will be reduced.
Good presentation with best knowledge,honda650cc cbr, recomended engine oil grade &which brand oil with how much quantity, how many km can drive?please inform me.
@Strell You mentioned going to a track. Where can we get a track in Bangalore coz I’ve been looking. And do we have track days here in India? Sorry for sounding uninformed. It’s coz I am xD
I have a cbr650r 2022 model, i am looking at either Honda Rebel 500 or Kawasaki Z900. I don't have preference as i like both. However Rebel 500 order is backlogged since 2022. Kawa just launch in my country Malaysia. Which one should i go for? Wait for rebel 500 or Kawa Z900 as my second bike?
If you are light weight most bikes can be ridden without a lot of problems. Just go slow on speedbreakers and you will be fine. If you are heavy like me or if you ride with a pillion then it can be problematic.
As all my first dream bike = rc😤 But after knowing more about rc Next one = Benelli 600i Next one = z 900 Then I decided that I will only buy faired bike So I planned to buy ninja 650 But after knowing service cost😫😫 This is the lifespan of my bikeology And the twist is that I am just 14😂 But Now it's the time to study So study well and grab your dream✌️
I am from Imphal. There is no Honda bigwing dealers here. If i have to get this bike, i would have to do so from Guwahati or Kolkata. My biggest concern is regarding service and maintaing it. I love the bike but m stuck; can't make a decision..
Hey strell , the honda sells guy said , that CBR 650 R costs least in middle capacity bikes , you just confirmed it , by the way what kind of fuel can be used with cbr ?
R7 varunnennu kettu how does cbr compare with that? Strell bro sagar sheldekar inteinterceptor 650 scrambler video kando. I would like to know your opinion.
