Is Celine Triomphe Wallet on Chain (WOC) worth it? 4 months review: pros, cons, quality & fit

Hi! Just tested with iPhone 15 pro max and medium size sunnies (depth of approx 4cm) in soft pouch. They did fit and I was able to normally (without any extra effort) close the bag:) I’d still fit a bank card and smth like a key or lipstick. BUT I think not all sunnies would fit, some frame with more depth may not. Hope this was helpful lovely 💜

I stopped by the boutique couple of times and yes it did fit the glasses + phone comfortably! But sadly, the leather was such a stain magnet :( When I was inspecting the bag, it touched my face a bit leaving small stain of foundation and it didn’t move when i tried to rub it off with my finger 🥹 And the bag reeked, exactly how some people complain earlier this year that some smooth Triomphe items smelled like weed. The bag smelled bad on my 2nd stop (they only have one in stock.) I don’t think you experienced any smell?

@@AnnettaDarandri I recall there was some very light smell in the beginning, similar to what Celine Triomphe leather belts. I have not noticed stains so far on my WOC, but agree that stains may be more visible on this kind of smooth shiny box leather than more matte or textured. E.g. fingertip marks are sometimes visible if I look very close, but so far it was super easy to wipe them off.

Hi lovely! The black leather part of the strap which is on the inside of the flap is possible to open if you’d like to remove the strap, but it only moves towards one direction through the loops, so the chain always stays in same place firmly when you use it. You can cross the chain to put the upper black leather part (the shoulder strap) inside, then you get a double chain. But it leaves only 17cm chain drop, which makes the bag possible to carry on your elbow but not shoulder. I’d recommend to see the bag live to play a bit with the strap and decide if it works for you 💜 Good luck deciding 😊🫶

That’s great to hear yours is fine. I’ve used it less than 5 times since I purchased it last December. It’s a slight cracking on the glazing on each side of the opening of the flap, guess it’s unavoidable but you’d think the quality would be better for the price of the item..

@@user-nk4vr2hz1b that really doesn't sound good - I would go to the boutique and ask about it. Perhaps they can replace the item? I've used mine like over 50 times in the past months, and nothing happened to the sides of flap opening yet.

Hi Tammy! No it’s not a magnetic one:) I like that triomphe on the closure is kept whole, unlike in other bags where it slides into two parts when opening the bag

Hi! That’s dust that it visible on sunlight when filming close up:) And some fingermarks - they appear on this leather even from completely clean fingers. But go away when you wipe with eet cloth.
