how did you get it to fit into your bezel? i ordered the one you linked and the bezel fits in the car but the screen is to big to fit flush like yours

@@ikev60 Nice! That was actually my original plan, which is why I mentioned the plastic welder purchase in the video. But after thinking on it I was hoping I could find some vents that were a direct fit so I didn’t have to cut anything up. Still haven’t decided what to do yet.

There is a USB plug that comes with the radio. It plugs into the back of the radio and you route the wire wherever you want to plug in your phone cord. I routed mine up beside the cupholder!

after some consideration and the fact this route you cant adjust where the screen sits so you run into issues like you have been having with glare. im thinking about getting the single din 10.1 inch touch screen from boss audio. it adjusts so you can move the screen left right up and and down tilt and you can slide the screen higher and lower. I'll be doing a climate control relocation because i will want the screen to sit at its lowest point and still have room for the vents. its about 50 dollars more but ive heard nothing but good thing about the radio.

Correct. I just did a double din install on my 2000 civic with a $300 Sony unit and it has glare issues as well. So it’s not a radio issue, it’s definitely a positioning issue. So you’re on the right track!
