DJ is one of the best receivers in the game. Mooney is decent. Kmet is fine. Ppl grossly exaggerate how bad the receiver situation was. Obviously it is better now but it wasn't bad. Goff made it to the Superbowl and had 28TD and 7int in his second season. Fields only shows he can't play a full season of football.

PS the weapons Pittsburgh has are very comparable to what the bears had last year.

Real talk.... it's better yo start fields.... because RUSS is the one who should be able to handle the difficult games past week 10.... if you start russ and he is bad or you habe questions.... you better pull him by week 4 or 5, because if you don't just keep russ out there all season no way u put a young qb to play 6 afc north games and the cheifs for his intro the steelers football... But if fields is not getting it by week 4 or 8 u can swith to the VET in russ and expect him to produce.... Then you can let fields bake till next year ( if you have faith he just still needs to learn)

Also he won 7 games and missed 5 games which he would have won 2 no doubt. Came back off injury immediately vs the lions. Then played the lions again 2 weeks later and won by 15. Loses a close one to cleveland which the defense didnt hold up on the final drive.

You obviously don't remember that game. While Fields number look great he had two crucial turnovers. The fumble resulted in points and the int sealed the game. Fields stop scoring with about 19mins of game time. The last time the bears scored was with 4:01 mins in the 3rd.

What “upside” does Fields have that Russ doesn’t? Is it two SBs and having two more appearances blown by his defense? Is it being in MVP conversations for 9 years straight? Is it being the second-winningest QB over an entire decade to arguably the greatest QB to ever play the game. Is it breaking more records than Mothers Against Rap? Is it having the 4th-highest career passer rating in NFL history? Is it having the most efficient December passing stats in NFL history? Is it averaging 3,000+ yards passing, 500+ yards rushing, and 65%+ completion% for his first 8 years? Is it having the highest career 4th quarter passer rating ever, and the highest career passer rating on passes of 20+ and 30+ yards? Is it having more game-winning drives than any QB in NFL history for 9.5 seasons, being the fastest QB to 100 wins in NFL history. Is it being the first QB since Michael Vick to pass for 3,000 yards and 500+ yards in a season? I could go on and on about the stuff Russ has done, but the guy owns more records and distinctions than anyone in the league outside of Aaron Rodgers, and has broken multiple of Rodgers’s records! When you regurgitate narratives you had better have evidence to support them. Justin Fields doesn’t have more “upside” than Russ. He simply has THE POSSIBILITY of playing more years because he’s younger. Those are two very different things. If I had to bet on whether the greatness of Fields’s next 10 years would exceed the greatness of Russ’s next 5, I’ll bet on Russ’s next 5, and I wouldn’t even blink before doing it. Russ can still go to new heights over the next 4-5 years. He’s 35, not 45. Justin fields + Russell Wilson = JustRuss!

But to say that wilson has a great upside in his mid 30s is crazy. Wilson is a future hof qb but he is coming to his last stretch of seasons just like drew brees
