Is Comeback Better Than Last-Ditch Effort in Splatoon 3? 

Awesome break down! It seems like most conversations just recommend LDE because 'bigger number,' but this threw in more nuance for why CB could give you more value in the long run. Thanks for making this. :)

Yeah agreed. I use comeback on splash. I didnt know that comeback worked with all those abilities even when I dint have them on. All I have run and swim speed on it for subs, so i thought it only worked for those 2. But it's nice it gives me all those abilities even if I'm not wearing them like ink saver and stuff that's awsome. I think comeback is better for things like splash or frontline. i think LDE is better for things that have lower paint and need those ink tank advantages. (Squeezer, sometimes splattershot) but I think LDE is great just on things like splattershot or squeezer for example. But for comeback, it gives you all of those for 10ap all of those which is really really good. Comeback > LDE.

You could add a game play

Yeah the only weapon I use LDE on is jr because of bomb spam. Every other frontline weapon I insta pick comeback

I like to pick Comeback for frontline slayer weapons, and LDE for midline and backline weapons. Comeback is pretty useless for Heavy Splatling or Hydra Splatling, but LDE is perfect for them. They are both really good tho and I often struggle to pick one when both abilities work well with the weapon I'm using.

Comeback can be used as some kind of pacifist inker with Quick Respawn and a weapon that inks a lot of turf :0

When it comes to the buffs comeback gives you, do you need those ability’s on your gear for it to buff you or does it give you those buffs without them on your gear? I know it may seem stupid but im a lil slow-
