DC has been creatively bankrupt for years. I'm just shocked they didn't seem to have some sort of focus group to see what the fans reactions would have been to something like this.
I find it racist. I hate that according to DC Hispanic culture is down to Mexican food. All other Hispanic nations and cultures do not exist. Also, all Mexican culture is relegated to tacos and burritos smh.

DC Comics probably is thinking of another Hispanic superhero "as unique as a San Antonio breakfast taco" (thanx Dr. Jill!) Thank you NEA. This is cringey and, maybe the most insulting thing I can thing of to attribute to graphic artists and creatives, unimaginative.
