@@ChodyRay Nah man the game is just bad. For one, almost every single dynamic move is a cooldown, which is just dumb. It’s not a moba, but it still plays like one. Aside from that, characters are severally overpowered vs. each other in a way you cannot patch/adapt. Basically the game is who has and uses the best cooldowns first, because the light and heavy attacks are all virtually the same *except* some of them have slightly horrible range that just means you can’t approach because if you try using your long range moves/heavies, you just get spammed with the fastest cooldown move and this becomes the worlds most animated game of chicken… it’s just not good combat for a supposed fighter, works fine in a MOBA or game where stocks aren’t the focus, tho. I’ll say it’s slightly better than 3D Naruto games, but personally I think no shield and cooldown dodging make it a lot worse and ruins the idea of a platform fighter I. The first place because movement options are extremely limited overall

They are gonna need a 5v5 push or something chaotic like that 😂 it can be a small/medium map, but take control of the monster to push either off the edge of the map or explode their tower. I just wanna be able to play with all my friends once it's finished. 3v3 is good atm but, most of the time 5 of us are online

@reniyourenitube I do play overwatch. And I understand putting too many modes in a game can be bad it's also something that would be nice for DKO. Atleast a 5v5 or a free for all I'm really just saying it out of excitement for the game obviously but, it's just fun modes that could be limited time events even

Valorant mostly, although it also takes a lot from Gears of War.

@@NosyBoy The first alphan gameplay that I could find of both games are from March 2020, valorant was shown on March 2 and rogue company on March 25, it is almost impossible that hi rez had specific information on valorant from years before the first gameplay was shown, In addition, even if they had information, there was no way of knowing that the release of Valorant would mean that competitive shooters would become a trend, it doesn't make sense to develop a game similar to that of another larger company because you don't know if you're going to be able to compete against that game and you also don't know if that game will be successful or not so that you can take advantage of that. Hi rez must have done their own studies before developing a game like rogue company so I'm not sure they did it for valorant. As for gears of war I guess rogue takes some inspiration which is fine all games do and developers didn't just copy the formula and at least personally I never saw the latest gears of war war games were so successful as to want to copy their formula and try to "steal" their audience, at least the latest titles. I think Rogue company was the first game in which hi rez decided to take a risk and create something because it seemed like a good idea instead of wanting to look like other famous games of the moment.

Paladins definitely got beaten down by Overwatch comparisons early on, but yeah DKO is good and feels mostly finished.

@@NosyBoy As someone who has more than 1k hours in both games, they are really just similar from a first impression or if you are a extremely casual player. I would argue they are on opposite extremes on the Hero Shooter spectrum. Overwatch is closer to a Strategic shooter, Paladins is closer to a Moba. The issue on palafins was management and polish. Gameplay was fine and quite unique in it's genere... but yeah, lost reviwers are hardcore casuals🤔

I actually didn't know that game was a thing until this comment, but yeah it's nice to have this one as a console release.

I think they picked some cool characters tbh, but I definitely agree that there are a ton of dope characters that they could add. I want Mulan and Merlin a lot tbh.

I’m curious to see how they’ll add skadi, I’m thinking that she may either be sitting on top of kaldyr or if they will still make her with him next to her. Either way, I can already tell he is going to piss people off with whatever move sets they give her that involve him. Wether they make it like smite where he is constantly biting until someone takes him out or he does one flurry of attacks and then gets recalled. I also want to see ao kuang and Lancelot.

@@NosyBoy you know your actually right about that one I forgot to explain the move cool downs similarto DKO. But I realized Naruto to Boruto strikers and DKO are completely different. Naruto Strikers let's you make a class and you had a health bar. DKO is way different from that game that uses the percent damage system and knocking your opponents out of the ring. DKO is alright game. I did the 1v1 and I got triggered. I played the 3v3 and 4v4 and it's fun.

There’s nothing comparable to shinobi strikers besides it being in 3rd person.
