Well steam relase failed 2 years passed nothing really was done in the game i come back after 2 years and i would say its even worse. Balacing problems, copy of an copy of an copy weapon in tech tree, tech tree ofgten missing some tech within a tier, maps too small game shhould be at least 50v50 players in the end its a war not call of duty 10v10, limits on planes and tanks is bad, bots are stupid lack of orders for your squad so they cna actualy do something. Silver eceonomy for ne w players is BS. False weapon stats, P2W stuff, why some helmets reduce 10% dmg in head and neck and others wont?
what the game needs: -better squad UI, BR filter, searchbar -better weapons UI, also BR filter and searchbar -map/campaign and mode selection -increase silver income -fix veteran techtrees, remove the requirement to clear out a whole line in order to progress, if you already own something from pre-merge and these are just the most essential things that need changing.
Yeah finding soemthing or managing 40 squads its terrible i have legacy squads also new one and its hard to sort through this. I think squads should have Basic Tier as well even u gave them Br1 weapon. FOr example US Tier 5 Assaulters not matter what weapon u gave them should be BR5, also whole BR system not working. As BR 5 u get matched with BR 3-5 but suddently for US Tunisia which is BR3 and Pacific which is BR4 disappear so all long u play only normandy maps....
New player here! Been playing for about two months and I am that guy who just dealt with the confusion and spent hours researching how all the shit works. Your Chanel was definitely useful but a lot of stuff I’m wondering about wasn’t explained in a way that I understood. I got it eventually through feel and I’m now a Lieutenant General (IDK how good that is. It looks good but it’s only half way to marshal so idk) The game takes time to learn but it was definitely ROUGH when starting out.
Do you discover than ingame weapon stats are not true yet? did u discover than some caps and helmets decrease dmg by 10% in head and neck? and some other helmet dont do anything even they look almost the same? did u know that russian premium squad have armor which decrease dmg by 10% :D?
New player also it's been under two months for me, I had to look up youtube stuff to get better. Here's a tip I learned not from this channel but from another who watched two pro teams compete, the pro teams place sandbags around rally points protecting them, you have to get them as close together as you can against a wall or some cover, and place anti personal mine once you are done.
excatly, make bigger maps with bigger lobbies. At the moment this game feels like a corridor shooter rather than a ww2 shooter. Can't even sneak around because the A.I. pathing and actions are so bad.
The maps are kind of perfect if they just got rid of the gray zones and made the entire map accessible and increase the player size on each map it would make for a more dynamic game as now you have to strategically hold positions to keep enemies from invading not to mention it would stop those who have memorized where enemies will likely spawn and getting easy kills

Great breakdown... i've taken a break from the 'steam culture' for about the last year and have strictly played enlisted solo, w/o discord. Thanks for reminding me that engineers are unavailable early, 'I sincerely apologize to my fellow teammates who have suffered from my numerous rants about your lack of rally building, and at times your lack of intelligence altogether, really, I am very sorry.' It's human nature to 'desensitize' and forget past frustrations and there intensity at the time. It's painfully enlightening to remember how frustrating this game was at the start. I agree with all of your insights and recommendations especially map selection. I get bored easily, and my gameplay has reduced to playing strictly BR3. I can 'hold my own,' still compete, and have fun against higher ratings. Unfortunately I don't play with the better weapons that I would like to because of lack of map variety and 'sweaty' gameplay. The 'lack of information' issues, in my opinion, will directly reflect Gaijans commitment to the future of this project, within updates or lack thereof. I am fondly reminded of the 'long ago times' when a video game was a 'thing' you went out and acquired, and it came with a manual. My 'snarky' side suspects this deal with steam is a sign of a 'disengagement of design and more focus on maximizing profit' as so many projects do. Personally I think I have bought my last Battle Pass. Thank you ParaDivison... I know, I would not enjoy or have played Enlisted as long as I have without you.
What they should prioritize fixing is the silver income. I already had more than enough bronze-silver orders pre merge to not even care about silver ever, but new players must be struggling to get weapons/soldiers with how little you get per match, even if you do exceptionally well. I spent around 3.5-4 million to get all perfectly rolled soldiers (didnt care that much before, just needed soldiers with enough points to buy the meta perks) for all nations, and maybe around 1.5 million more in upgrading all weapons/vehicles. I really dont see a viable way to get that much silver when you only get around 1-3k per 10minutes when you also gotta spend a lot buying the squads/vehicles/weapons/accesories first on top of that. You can still enjoy a game that has some flaws, but a game in which you cant keep up with your unlocks just gets frustrating really fast.
I can't believe Enlisted doesn't have a player-base at least 10x its current size. It's just so much better than the other games out there. You can have a lot of fun just playing it casually, and it is available for free. At the same time, I don't understand why games like War Thunder have such a large player-base. These vehicle-only games are not fun. I can't understand why at least some of its players won't switch to Enlisted (if just 10% did it, Enlisted would be packed).
I have no idea what the "gaming market" looks like right now, but maybe Gaijin should give more incentives for War Thunder players to play their other game, Enlisted. Maybe give them the same vehicles they have already unlocked in WT. Do some cross-game events. Lots of potential ideas... They wouldn't even need to bring new players to their games. They would just increase the engagement of the players they already have, by making them play both games.
I joined enlisted as a new player midway through thier recent Christmas event just at the end of last year so 4 months in total and so far im enjoying the game im a casual player as a F2P player its not bad 4 slots is enough watched about 2 video guides on how to ascend the tree effectively and let me tell you it gets better for all the new players please just give it time and you get to the good stuff im currently in tier 4 and it only took me 4 months well technically 3 and a half but yeah and word of advice please play like a sweat when you have those daily random boosters on play like there is no tomorrow have fun.
We need legacy squads back so players can have different setups for different BRs. I love building and upgrading new squads. It would also be nice to have old Gold Order weapons, premium, and event squads rotate in store to keep things fresh. Especially for players who only play certain BRs.
IMO the game won't satisfy people who care about history because Tiger 2 in Stalingrad, and also won't satisfy complete casuals who don't care because my 2 Shermans and 2 para squads and flamethrower squads and MG squads are going to dunk on BR1 Steam noobs.

All the merge really was, an excuse to start selling silver and make the economy unbearable even with premium, while also pulling the rug from under Stalingrad and Pacific access pass owners. Once your community is used to something, it's always difficult to radically change things to something else, and a lot of the current veterans are just not willing to play by the new rules. Hence Steam release, but it's gonna be a massive failure, and I have a 8000 characters review on standby explaining why. To give the bullet points, newcomers will be thrown into an extremely unfriendly and unfair environment, where they will be expected to commit hundreds of hours and hundreds of dollars before they can start having fun, and even if some people do that, they will still find themselves in an inferior position to veterans who've been collecting all the FOMO stuff over the years. Not to mention competition - even if Gaijin prices become 100% cheaper (something they'll never do) it would still be too expensive compared to prices that can get you whole games on Steam, especially with sales and bundles in mind.
New player here, im just gonna say it took me a bit more then 48 hours of gameplay to unlock everything in BR-1 and BR-2 for ONE faction. And im good player 80% of time in top 3. And i say again 48 hours of gameplay, not to be mistaken by 2 days. No averaging at 2-3 hours a day it took me almost a month of free to play grind. Good thing this game IS fun or i would be out of it in first few days.
Honestly if the devs just simply made the menu UI better shit would be fine new players I doubt it will be a poorly reviewed game since it has such a big fan base bigger then Caliber which may I mention is really well reviewed and that game bounces new players off it like a quarter off a fine ass
In my opinion the best thing would be if they made another type of Ex. Points that you can use on other nations unlocks,like ok you played Germany and maxed out BRlll but you wanna try out USSR so now you have to start over the grind, but with this you could unlock BRl a few BRll so you don't have to start over with every nation, and Silver income ofc becouse it's just a suckerpunch after BRll and many people gonna quit becouse of it.
Also why did you use the 'call bombers' instead of 'artillery' witht the radio man? In one of your other videos you showed what a waste of time it was calling bombers and advised calling artillery instead. Maybe I misunderstood. I thought you implied - never go full bomber. ive been saving up these 2 games since many weeks and that might have been from when i tried to get good bomber footage...and noticed how painfully weak they are 😂

My brother played my account for a while, like 3 months, It took a very long time and some quite intense arguments to get him to cook grenades, crouch, build engineer structures etc. After 3 months he still had no map awareness at all and frequently got lost or stalled in the wrong areas. He couldn’t drive a tank at all and had very little general knowledge about tank classes and types. He often did things like used paratroopers when defending and falling back. He forgot how to do a bombing run, he didn’t like smoke grenades, he couldn’t tell the difference between a frag and an explosive pack by seeing which grenade was in the soldiers hand. He was mortally obsessed with submachine guns and would only play BR2 Russians for the PPS-43. It was hard seeing him be absolute cannon fodder and lowering my K/D and win ratios. My best advice to a noob is just to cook grenades and build rallies, don’t run into enemy fire, run across it and use the flanks, you will be much harder to see and hit. The final touch is using a melee weapon at close ranges instead of reloading. Try to understand the topography of the mini map, ie dark squares are buildings and white lines are roads, I know it sounds simple, but many new players can’t discern details from the mini map at all while playing.
I’m a relatively new player myself who have played on and off over the years. I think or rather I am almost certain that when the new steam players finally reach their first BR 3 weapon/vehicle after hard grind. They will be in for a rude awakening that BR 3 will get them into matches were they will be utterly crushed by BR4 and BR5. I and my friends will stay on BR3 when the new player wave arrives as we want to prove a point that we are unhappy with the current BR matchmaking system. Of course I don’t enjoy destroying new players first experience with the game. And will be actively help new players in my team. With the new update we get new guns and vehicles but I really wished that Japan would get more maps to play.
Yeah every time I get train I instantly desert. I’m a new player and tbh I’m on the edge with this game. The toxicity of the players and the insane grind is what’s really getting to me
Squad UI as a whole needa a rework new players couldn't possibly see that small text on the left hand side of the screen that says what the AI orders do its just way too small, enlisted devs could learn a thing or two from Easy Red 2 which has gone underappreciated and underrated for so long
Enlisted should give premium squads for anyone that installs the Steam version of a game. Fully upgraded engineer premium squad of BR2, some BR2 premium tank and BR1 Assaulter for a nation of your choice. War Thunder does it, Wargaming does it so why Enlisted can't? At least newbies could get some chance to fight back vs fully decked BR2/3 players. They removed so many premiums from the game so why not give it to everyone and especially newbies some premiums that really need your help.
They NEED to add back asia servers. I used to play this game a few years ago but once the removed asia servers the game has become unplayable for people in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Also letting people use their console accounts on PC like war thunder (not transfer account). I had finsihes Mosow and Berlin and have interest in griding this stuff out again.
need map balance, better br and matchmaking, and some more info at menus. it's impossible to get in without guides like you and other youtubers. it's very complicated, and has a lot of systems. also they should add auto level up option for casuals. im premium for two years but even i dont go in all menus. there should be an automation system for upgrades. like in smite, auto level up, auto buy items etc.
Nope not even close there are so many issues and DF doesn't give a damn. It will fail due awful economy and because after 10 bot matches they will be forced to play against BR3 with fully decked gear and vehicles. How a newbie could defeat a KV-1 with a basic trooper/assaulter with just a half upgraded gun and a basic nade, he doesn't know what tnt does and even if he would know he doesn't know that tnt has only 55mm of pen and it requires precise spots to detonate that tank. There will be also the Chinese rifle nade spammers, flamethrower spammers, ppsh-41/lanchester 50/tompson spammers, camping tanks spamming HE and rocket plane spammers.Also AP mines everywhere (why don't they have a hard limit? why people can spam 9 of them???) Good luck with that. I'm even ignoring hundreds of bugs that they refuse to fix like bipod, axis paras of planes and paratroopers always fall further away and you need to deploy your shute much earlier than other nations, can't throw demo packs and shoot rockets through windows, servers shitting itself way too often so hitboxes are not registering, render distance being set at 500m so you can't see anything with the plane so you have to spam v all the time to find the tanks. Newbies will be also annoyed with so many menus so they will just click play without upgrading guns or equipping demo packs/tnt. You are always right about rally points taking too much for the tiktok brains so building time should be decreased. We need map preference screen like in WT.
They may also get a very bad first impression of BR2 and BR3 tanks/planes and some fully upgraded weapons they will think they are p2w because they are much better than their garbage gear at BR1. New players should receive 2-3 premium squads of BR2 for nations of their choice so at least they could survive fully upgraded BR2-3 infantry squads. War Thunder and World of Tanks does exactly that. But with Enlisted they will get nothing, and those players will leave the game after they will get explosive graped by the real players. Speaking of premium squads they are way too overpriced -50% price should be the base price and it should be decreased by further -50% during sales (so -75%) you could buy multiple AAA games on sale for their premium packs and most of them will get or already got power creeped or nerfed. So their value is even lower.
There is one flaw in your conclusion. Most of the players will not know so much about the world war 2. I mean like, when was wich weapon used and so on
Well the so called "New Enlisted" or whatever they are going to name on Steam like Reinforced seems to be failing to either get more new players or win back veterans who uninstalled the game after the merge or much earlier as result of War Thunderdization of Enlisted through that update that includes a BR system like War Thunder. How the hell you could win the trust of the old players back after fucking them over with the merge that basically makes the game a downgraded version? There's just no reason for a veteran like myself to comeback after uninstalling and still see no improvement or anything that would convince me. Such a shame nothing changes and might as well the game burns on Steam release if they don't address the problems.
The game is all things considered, a casual ww2 fps. It is not hard for new players who are acustomed to fps games in general to get into. It has been a nice laid back casual experience even before the changes had been made. People focus too much on research and silver. All weapons in the game do what needs to be done and are in no way lacking. If anything i would say the only op thing in the game are MG's which in my opinion should be required to be mounted either prone or on cover to fire. I play wity no ui on to enhance the experience and to avoid obsuring enemies. Last to add the gunplay is quite satosfying as well. It is between that realism and arcade area that strikes a perfect balance. The allied bot squad gives new players the chance to react to enemies. I could not think of a more new player friendly game. Being free to play leaves no excuses.
Enlisted is going to get the same reviews like in the beginning pretty much they are screwing everyone over at this point enlisted wants new players to get the game because after the merger is hasn't been popping lately the og players haven't forgotten.

Atleast make matchmaking to br 1&2 games 3&4 games and 5 becouse the fact of tier 3 players have to play with FOURS and FIVES with their tier 2 stuff completly unacceptable.
Yeah I'm playing in tier 3 and I regularly go against seemingly the best players in enlisted, it's getting so bad I'm considering rage quitting the game, which I have not done yet since I started playing this game over a month ago. I play my games all the way through even if we can't do anything and die nonstop because no one can get anywhere in the map without dying.

@koster3920 I'm done tier 3 already I'm just choosing to stay where I'm at right now, sometimes I take all my pay to win stuff off and play with free to play stuff I unlocked. I noticed no mater what I do I'll get put in games with new players, that's probably not fun for them honestly it's fun for me but now that I got better stuff I'm not in that position anymore so yeah matchmaking bad for new players. I haven't played much nations just Germany, and some Japan, and I used a gold order to buy the tiger E and had to grind up to get the panther crew in order to use my tank lol as a new player I should of known so I'm a bit burned out on grinding for my tank ATM.
@@DeltaCDN ye i feel you i started with germans grinded to tier 3 free to play and gave in to gajins manipulation and bought premium time and other stuff and instantly saw the difference of xp flow exc. Been playin for about a month now and i just feel the game needs atleast minor tweaks for it to be so much better. Atleast the matchmaking and silver gain.
@@DeltaCDNAt one point I equipped my br V squads with mostly br III gear because everyone we were fighting in br V had br III gear or lower, I love the Normandy sweat fest but right now you’re mostly just playing against bots and new players. Sucks for everyone

A lot of these hidden stats and info design choices are almost a direct copy of how RetoMoto designed Heroes and Generals (a similar game in many ways). It would be interesting if someone could find out where the Gaijin game developers came from and whether any of them came from Reto. and have brought these horrible design choices with them.
First steam year looks dire. No way they fix all that is needed in few months. The merge even removed the info on tank guns, like turret rotation stats. They also announced silver overhaul "in the future" to make stuff cheaper but it's almost half a year since that post. That's why the new from a few days ago explaining BRs is so bad. That means several months will span until possible and neccesary BR fix. Brace yourselves

Soooo what you're saying is...the merge sucked. The BR system sucks. That its a WWII game that doesn't even cater to history in favor for "balance". I concur. And the player numbers post-merge confirm it.
New player have been player for under two months this is what i learned about the game, you basically need to be a premium member, and buy the battle pass. If you won't buy these you will be grinding all day everyday which makes the game tough to play. The AI is useless and will standby while your entire squad gets killed by one guy with an automatic weapon or burst fire weapon, if you don't have those kinds of weapons you get killed everytime. If you decide to buy weapons or squads with gold weapon or squad orders you automatically get put in games with all the sweaty losers and it's not fun, wait to get better at the game before you do this! I find that a lot of players are not playing with headsets or just not care to destroy enemy rally points, your entire team will die to one guy sniping up high in a building, and not one person on your team will deal with it, you will have to deal with it yourself when it comes to taking out a problem player. I'm going to keep playing the game is fun, i like the look of everything, and the fact that this game gets updated regularly. I really enjoy building and setting up sites for defense, the tank stopper in doorways or entry points is such a good tip I learned from this channel i aways look for places to put one as cover or as a door blocker..
I think you are making a lot of assumptions about how people will react. The Garand was never a level 1 unlock even before the merge I think it was level 10 or so in The Pacific. I don't remember thinking it was unfair, I just understood that it was better then the Springfield bolt action so it would take some extra time to unlock it. Many people who play Enlisted right now are kind of retarded, but they still play and manage to figure it out. It is true that the game does not hold the players hand and it takes a bit to figure out the complexities of leveling up soldiers and buying equipment, but the gameplay is good enough that if people like the game they will stick around and figure it out. People still play Hell Let Loose and that game is more complex and explains things even worse. Steam also has an easily accessible Discussion feature where people can post questions and create FAQs about the game.
Paradivision low key keeps me off enlisted. He consistently gives me the feeling that, there is no hope for the future so why should I waist my time grinding on this game if it will fail. Don’t get me wrong though, I appreciate his honesty and I really wish the devs would listen to him because he is so right. Edit: I regret spending money on a year of premium. I got it with the Christmas discount so I guess it’s not that bad. Still hurts to hear the game failing though.
I've been playing for a a little over a week now (I played a bit a few years ago). 20 Minutes into the video and you're breaking it down perfectly. Also have to take into account that these days people try to stop gaming. If you annoy them it helps them to quit gaming. For example yesterday I was playing puma tank and teammates too and we get 1 shot by this 1 tank the whole time, while we keep hitting him!! Also played the USA 1 time. I have no engineers and everything is shit, but somehow I have an engineering team with BR III??? so I played against BR V as a BR I!!! WTF it was the dumbest shit ever. Me and my friend played against tiger E or whatever as a M5A1...
Well if you put BRlll weapons or Tank into your lineup you can SEE it's gonna put you in the range of BR l-BR V range. It's a good system? No. But you can read. I'm playing for 1month BR ll I unlocked a BR lll APC ofc I'm not gonna use it becouse it's makes a 50-50roll for high and low BR match.

Just always check if you play around with weapons and stuff that you don't bring BR lll accodentaly. From own exp. BR lll is not that hard to deal with in loe BR match. A good AT mine, well aimed AT shot or explo.pack can do the job.
Yeah the indicator for your br should be better, the puma is a hard tank to play because it has paper for armor and almost any tank/at weapon one shots it if you are against good player In short I agree that it needs ranked match making
Can anybody explain to me why most players didn't react to enemy strategy? Enemy holding down a point with tanks? No AT squad,no AT gun built. Enemy bomber drains tickets faster than a Pachinko machine? No AA built,no Allied fighter, no AA vechile.. sometimes it feels like it's you against the world..
It's because there's a lot of lazy players, honestly after playing for over a month I'm starting to get mad at the player base and the game in general. Trust me it really is you against the world I had numerous games where I'm the deciding factor because I'm the only one playing the objective and building rally points and building stuff for my team like ammo boxes and temporary cover while we capture or defend points.
Most players that are like that don’t have a lot of those things or don’t use them since they’re new and inexperienced. You need to level up engineer squads and research AT guns which takes time, and scrape together silver for AT gunners and weapons. Also engineer AA guns are useless and if you don’t have premium you can only have 1 vehicle squad, which is usually going to be a tank. And again new players have to buy all their vehicles for ridiculous prices even after researching them. I’m so glad I started playing in December 2022 and not December 2023 lol
@@Llamasomenumbers Engineer AA guns in low BR shred any planes, I never use planes and when I get a quest to destroy planes I always use Eng.AA. I agree Premium helps a lot and silver is a big issue but with a little bit of thinking you can scrape together a semi usefull lineup, 1 engineer for a squad for Rally, Atleast 1 or 2 AT guy for the line up,atleast 1 squad that can build AT gun and AA, a few Radiomen not impossible and trust me if you know how to shoot your SMG or LGM 3* or 5* does not matter that much you can still mow down a whole group. They are just lazy to look into it.
The game is way too expensive currently while starting new factions. Guns at most 3k plus very expensive upgrades for the weapons. The soldiers are so expensive. The higher the level the higher the price.
Tell me about it I play everyday 2-3match I unlocked an SMG squad 2weeks ago they have 3*-4* weapons cuz I can't afford 5*s. Not even talking about the nr.ll soldiers 7.5k is wild.
@@DeltaCDNEven with premium it's painfully slow i have 3k matches played, i'm finished with all tree unlocks and yet i still not have everything upgraded. Silver is lagging behind massively behind xp and unlocking it need to increase by 2-4x to match xp we get. Game is unplayable for everyone including veterans.
@Dregomz02 I think it's barely adequate, I recently grinded to get my tanker 3 crew, and I needed to raise 75k, it took me three days, and what made it easier was I got a booster the last day from the battle pass and it made the last push faster. I got the gold order tiger e so I don't need to pay to upgrade it.
I enjoy the BR system personally, yes id like a +1 -1 spread similar to warthunders but this is definitely better than the old way. My main gripe is tech tree maddness for veterans and or returning players I have no interest in grinding in reverse just to unlock something I was a stage or two away from before I took an extended break. Example is I have the fg42 1 and now i have to grind 7 previous guns just to keep moving towards the fg42 2! Please let me move forward on the tree from anything I have unlocked already, and I can go back for the other crap at my leisure.
Enlisted really needs some sort of map selection. I never paid a single cent for any game but i'd gladly pay for an option to never, ever fight against japan on their bs horrible maps.
and all the people that begged for a merge are crying. it was literally never necassary. tier system?? okay makes sense. take away campaigns?? are they fucking stupid?? they couldve AT least took the time to try and think of a middle ground like a combination of tier rankings and campaign choices, or even gamemodes, conquest, invasion, etc. I still have fun with the game and im not that upset with the tiers themselves. But it does suck joining matches with people who couldn’t carry themselves out of bed and losing the first point instantly, before the merge it happened yes, now it happens consistently every other game. It’s either your team is undefeatable and you can barely contribute, or the enemy dominates and you end up first place in the team with 30 kills. Thats what i dont understand.
and in retrospect yes it did make sense for factions and tech trees to merge (i mean who wants to unlock a weapon twice? i agree, even though that never really bothered me, it made sense to anyone who has any sort of real life work ethic) but there should have 100% been a choice of gamemodes or at least fronts.
The worst part is that we know it will take months just to add something similar to map selection, then there is the silver issue, no ingame chat, BR3 still sucking, lacking info on everything, etc. People forgot how merge was painfully added, like it needed to be pushed in time. It would be a miracle if they fix half of this by steam release (which will get delayed 100%)
Nah bro it's dead after the merger they said fuck the old player base let's go on steam so the old players don't complain how in the beginning it was historically accurate so pretty much there not going to fix it enlisted screwed everyone over.
