I love how the older man had been to Saudi and he seemed so delighted and genuine! Also so much encouragement for sharing this and being open! What a kind woman!
In the past like in the 70’s half of korean men went to Saudi Arabia to work there bc their economic issues they had so they worked there for few years and went back you can actually Google this to know more info if you need
@@YN-rg9fw right, not wearing hijab isn't as bad as drinking alcohol and smoking. There are women who smoke while wearing hijab. Men drink & smoke. The most important thing in every religion is being good human beings. Allah wants us to live and be good to each other, help the ones who need help don't hate, find a peaceful way to correct someone's mistakes.... & every person is responsible only for their own lives and what they do. Allah will not ask me like: what do you think about her not wearing hijab? Because I don't have the right I wasn't given the right and I'm not allowed to. 😊
Only a good muslim heart can admit his flows. The way she admitted that her hijab is not in the proper way made me respect her so much, she's such a beautiful soul may Allah bless her and grant her hidaya
Part of hijab is also that you're not attracting attention excessively to yourself. In some circumstances a less proper hijab will accomplish that goal better, as it will blend into the surroundings and still tell others that you're dressing modestly. The intention is there, but the presentation is modified to fit in the surroundings.
@@fac2 Islam is Simple Islam teaches love kindness Respect and I know what you are gonna say then why those terrorist kill people, because they are not muslims they did that for power they killed innocents . Muslims fight for weak people and for their god that's it for no other reason. And maybe you will not like what I am gonna say just think "Kids, newborns, womens old people and males covered in blood some kid seeing his mothers head without body death everywhere in Palestine will he want to become a good man If someone did that to my family I swear I will destroy him even though Islam says to forgive".
So, really the only differences between Muslims and Christian’s is that Muslims pray 5 times a day and the women wear Hijabs? (And eat different foods?).
@@Melissa-SC73 islam and christian has a different and similarity to. The main difference between them is: 1. Christians believe in the Trinity (three God, son, holy spirit, and father). The God of Islam is one God, pure monotheism, not a Trinity. 2. A different view of Jesus. Christians believe and trust that Jesus is the God. Islam believe and trust that Jesus is a messenger/prophet, and has a miracle from God, same with other prophets in the world from Adam, Moses, Abraham, noah, and Muhammad (last prophet). 3. A different view of sin. Christians believe every human is born with original sin (Psalm 51:5; Ephesians 2:1). Muslims believe when you are born, you have a ‘clean slate.’ Islam claims that sin exists because of human weakness and forgetfulness (Surah 4:28). I think christian also use hijab/cover but only the nun in the church. For people who more expert/understand, you can Correct me if i'm wrong.
I love how she answered all their questions correctly without feeling like she would be judged, and answering to make it fit others tastes. She was very sincere Allahuma Barik ❤
Many people will think that being muslim is so hard but trust me it is the best way of living our life..l am also a muslim too..😊 Edit: guys don't fight here..😑
But if you are non-muslim then living in a muslim locality is so hard, often costs life. Afterall it's a empiricist 'religion'. But thanks to modernism core muslim nations are finally opening up.
Right? I was quite surprised to see it brought up and even more so when she owned up to it and educated them on the proper way. May Allah SWT guide us all.
I am really glad that someone like Deena was their first impression (?) or conversation with a muslim woman specifically. She's educated and relied the right information to them and explained everything so well~ Good job!
I really love how u explain islam and muslim very well u even tell that what u use hijab is ur own way and not in religion's way in a good way,, may Allah save u, bless u and gave all of us hidayah and love for becoming muslim,, Aameen,, :) LOVE U SIST!
JazakAllah khair Deena .... You answered every question clearly, and you were genuine too. You didn't tweak your answers to fit in. May Allah grant you jannatul firdaus ❤😊
I love seeing these types of videos. Listening to them talking, I realized how loud we (Latinos from the Caribbean) are. LOL. They sound so sweet. Even if I tried, I would never sound like that. LOL
I loved this episode so much! Deena did such a great job with the explanation and introducing our religion to them. YOU GO GIRL! The people are very kind and understanding too
I loved it when she explained that women only need to wear hijab when they go out or in front of non related males because not a lot of people know this in South korea or in other countries that have a low percentage of Muslims ❤❤
12:15 this doesn't contradicts the rules of Islam or make it more difficult, in Ramadan we eat at night, there are two main meals, one before sunrise and one after the sunset but we also have dinner at the middle of the night and along with snacks, if any thing people mught actually eat more in Ramadan. Nonetheless, I'm usually disappointed by Muslim representation in these kinds of videos since they tend to 'soften' the rules of Islam or hide/change some facts to make it more appealing to people but Deena did a great job of being honest and conveying true information!
but the difficult part is that during the fast is when you are most active. school, work, life in general happens during the day and you cannot eat. sure u can technically eat as much as everyone else whos not fasting, but timing matters and thats what makes it hard
@madzie111 fasting in the modern day living in the west is easy. Think about when the prophet and the sahaba were fasting whilst in the battle of badr. Also the many Muslims in th world who can only afford to eat a single date for iftar and suhoor.
@@abzeeno thats true. but these things are relative. people in the west dont know that struggle so for them this is what's difficult. knowing that other people have it harder doesnt make it any easier for you and thats okay. all you can do is focus on ur own fast and make dua allah makes it easier for u and for the rest of the ummah. do ur charity and thats that. no need for comparing. we dont live during the prophets time.
@@abzeenoIf you were shot but someone was stabbed multiple times, does that lessen the pain you feel? Because that’s how you’re looking at things and it makes no sense. One person’s struggle does not lessen the struggling of others just because it can be viewed as “worse”. What a weird way of thinking.
@@fanofmanylegends9709 it's a good way of thinking honestly. It makes you feel more blessed that you are fasting by choice and not cause you can't afford to feed yourself like millions
I have to raise the hat for dina for all this info about islam, many others when they talk about islam like not 100% tell the right things, but i liked that dina even like not wearing hijab in the right way but stiil told them that there is a right way to wear
Clarification: In Islam you don’t only marry the person your parents chose😂 You can marry any good person you want, but any man that wants to marry a girl he likes or vice versa needs to take it up with their family first with serious intentions in mind. This eliminates all the playboys, players, liars, people with current commitment issues, as well as a broken heart.
She is right that Muslims are all over the world and with different backgrounds, ethnicity, and culture. For example, Muslims from Central Asia are different from one country to another. Muslims from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are more conservative than Kyrgyzstani and Kazakhstani Muslims. Also, the black hijab (scarf) is very common for Arab women, in Central Asia (especially in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan) only a widowed woman wears the black hijab for a year to tribute to a deceased husband, which means the black hijab is a symbol of a mourning widow.
Around a thousand years ago Imam Muhammad Al Ghazali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion. As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up. The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well. The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya (this temporal world) which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.
Alcohol and pork are forbidden for good reasons, alcohol gets you drunk and you won’t be in your right state of mind so whatever action you do good or bad is just very dangerous and threatening. Pork is unhygienic, they eat their own filth so that’s why it’s forbidden in Islam. Only halal food is allowed, the ones who are not killed crucially but peacefully. Everything in islam is beautiful and just shows how much Allah love and cherish us.
Tho of all those reasons we don't eat them because allah forbidden us from doing that, so we do that because it's an order from allah nothing else, it's islam, like accepting anything from allah's orders without questioning why
@@illhave1kwithoutanyvideo322 but Allah swt gave us the reasons. As humans we are curious to know the reason behind everything! That's why in Islam Allah swt gave us an answer for everything, we don't need to make it hard on ourselves..
@@illhave1kwithoutanyvideo322they were just telling people that there ARE reasons why some stuff are not allowed in Islam. And it’s not a bad thing to explain that. We as Muslims MUST know the reasons bc lemme give u an example, drugs are haram, but they didn’t exist 1400 years ago so how did we know about them being haram? Because they’re like alcohol, you turn into another person when u take them and u might commit crimes and hurt other ppl etc. That’s why knowing the reasons of why something is haram is very important.
@@raneemsoliman3462 no, there is not answers for everything, because may someone come and tell you whta if i drink a little of alcohol and i won't be drunk why i am allowed for that!!, as for everything... If there is an answer okay, but if not what are you gonna do? Not believing? That's my point, that's why i say even though of presence of reasons or not we still believing in allah, i hope you got my point💗
@@en0zi i didn't say giving reasons is a bad thing! nooo it's good to tell if there is a reason, but for us muslims we believe if there no reason, we still believing in allah... Because many may come and tell like, then if i drink a little of alcohol and don't get drunk then why i can't drink? Or for something like music, someone may ask what if i listened to music but still doing all my duties towards allah and wirshiping at the right why then music still haram? Questions like that, so my point here is that if there is reasons if there is not, we are still muslims still believing allah, that's my point, we do what allah asked us to do, we don't what allah asked us to not do, we don't need reasons for believing,, that's my point of view for us muslims
What a lovely family. The boy was such a sweetheart. The defeated- I have nowhere to escape from here- cringing was everything 😂 The lady who kept asking whether wine was permitted despite being told alcohol is forbidden 😂 Not difficult to find this family adorable, at all. Proud of our girl Deena. She explained Islam so beautifully. Much love to you all.
My beloved brothers and sisters in islam, yes, we have to respect other people, and we can't force them on the way they live but as a Ummah we have to take care of each other and warn each other about bowing down to another being and I know that this is culture according to them but we should care what Allah has commanded us and His messenger Muhammed sallallaahu alayhi wa Salam. So please, my brothers and sisters don't shake hands of the opposite gender or bow to other than Allah because shirk is the greatest sin which will not be forgiven when someone dies upon it without seeking the forgiveness of Allah the Almighty. May Allah guide us all and make it easy.
She's is very good at explaining about Islam and her demeanor also really represents how a Muslim behaves (humble, peaceful manner, respecting differences, ect). It's cute when the boy in uniform asking, "in terms of believing in Islam is there prettiness to?" 😊 I didn't think he was trying to flirt, but I know it's not just the 2 of them many people watching this were also blushing.
As a Muslim I love how positive and respectful they were in learning about Islam they had good questions too and it was interesting how that one guy worked in Dammam, Saudi Arabia for so long but it makes sense because Dammam is known for being a major center of the Saudi oil industry and there have been many foreign workers in the past
honestly wearing a hijab docent get you that hot even when covering your neck the material is what matters you wear a different hijab fabric depending on the weather simple also wearing a abaya is not gonna make you hot either since once again material also its one layer too and you can get rlly gorgeous designs and honestly you can just wear a short sleeved shirt and some trousers or whatever underneath and still be nice a cool and look good

It is interesting that among the first things Koreans talk about with unknown people is praising their looks. Is that really that normal? That beauty and beauty standards are so important for Koreans? (I know it is a thing, but how much??)
They are soo obsessed with looks. Thats how their beauty standard is. Too much toxic. Look at this video, the first 3 min then towards the end still talking about her beautiness. No wonder they had so many plastic surgery clinic
If there’s one thing in Islam about beauty is that each one of us are the best creation that Allah has made. So, regardless of what other people or even other creature may think of you, we will always remember that we are the most perfect, most beautiful in our God’s eyes, regardless of whatever beauty standard human may create. He loves us in all of our ways and that in itself is enough and comforting
It dies existe pretiness in Islam, but this one is inside us, in doing good, love, compassion, helping each other and specially the people in need, in being a good person and trying to be the best You can every Day, in thinking about Allah and talk about him, in praying 5 times a Day, in reading Quran, in reflecting over everything we do and what we can do better❤❤❤ this ALL is pretiness in Islam and specially for Allah❤❤❤May Allah help US with this ALL, Ameen

I think she really went with a pure heart and Allah blessed this meeting time. I really can feel the baraka in how everything went well. Algamdulilah for Islam and for people whose love for it shows like this.
1-What is Islam? The word "Islam" means peace and submission. Peace means to be at peace with yourself and your surroundings and submission means submission to the will of God. A broader meaning of the word "Islam" is to achieve peace by submitting to the will of God. This is a unique religion with a name which signifies a moral attitude and a way of life. Judaism takes its name from the tribe of Juda, Christianity from Jesus Christ, Buddhism from Goutam Buddha and Hinduism from Indus River. However, Muslims derive their identity from the message of Islam, rather than the person of Muhammed (Peace be upon him), thus should not be called "Muhammadans". 2- Who is Allah? Allah is the Arabic word for "one God". Allah is not God of Muslims only. He is God of all creations, because He is their Creator and Sustainer. 3-Does Allah look like us? No, Allah is perfect. He is not like any of His creations. A Muslim does not say a single thing about Allah other than what Allah says about Himself. Allah is Perfect and Unique. 4- Who is a Muslim? The word "Muslim" means one who submits to the will of God. This is done by declaring that "there is no god except one God and Muhammad is the messenger of God." In a broader sense, anyone who willingly submits to the will of God is a Muslim. Thus, all the prophets preceding the prophet Muhammad are considered Muslims. The Quran specifically mentions Abraham who lived long before Moses and Christ that, "he was not a Jew or a Christian but a Muslim," because, he had submitted to the will of God. Thus there are Muslims who are not submitting at all to the will of God and there are Muslims who are doing their best to live an Islamic life. One cannot judge Islam by looking at those individuals who have a Muslim name but in their actions, they are not living or behaving as Muslims. The extent of being a Muslim can be according to the degree to which one is submitting to the will of God, in his beliefs and his actions. 5- Who was Muhammad? (Peace be upon him) In brief, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was born in a noble tribe of Mecca in Arabia in the year 570 AD. His ancestry goes back to Prophet Ishmael (Peace be upon him), son of Prophet Abraham (Peace be upon him). His father died before his birth and his mother died when he was six. He did not attend a formal school since he was raised first by a nurse as it was the custom those days, and then by his grandfather and uncle. As a young man, he was known as a righteous person who used to meditate in a cave. At age 40, he was given the prophethood when the angel, Gabriel, appeared in the cave. Subsequently, the revelations came over 23 years and were compiled in the form of a book called the Quran which Muslims consider as the final and the last word of God. The Quran has been preserved, unchanged, in its original form and confirms the truth in the Torah, the psalms and the Gospel. 6-How did Muhammad (peace be upon him) become a prophet and a messenger of God? At the age of 40, while engaged in a meditative retreat, Muhammad (peace be upon him) received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. This revelation, which continued for twenty-three years, is known as the Quran. As soon as he began to recite the words he heard from Gabriel, and to preach the truth that God had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered bitter persecution, which grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to emigrate. This event, the Hijrah, 'migration', in which they left Makkah for the city of Madinah some 260 miles to the north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar. After several years, the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his followers were able to return to Makkah, where they forgave their enemies and established Islam definitively. Before the Prophet (peace be upon him) died at the age of 63, the greater part of Arabia was Muslim, and within a century of his death Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as Far East as China. 8-What is the Quran? The Quran is a record of the exact words revealed by God through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was memorized by Muhammad (peace be upon him) and then dictated to his companions, and written down by scribes, who crosschecked it during his lifetime. Not one word of its 114 Surahs, has been changed over the centuries, so that the Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) fourteen centuries ago. 8-What is the Quran about? The Quran, the last revealed Word of God, is the prime source of every Muslim's faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern us as human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, and law, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and an equitable economic system .
we (the people of this planet) need to have much more of these kinds of conversations. that would help a lot to keep the peace, see the human in each other and understand each other better. we would find that we have much more in common then we think.
