Isn’t it funny that a girl coming from a country that make it obligatory to wear hijab, doesn’t wear it properly and the two girls coming from countries that educate and encourage muslim girls to cover their modesty but do not force it on them ends up covering up perfectly… religion should not be forced on people… we should educate people about them… inform them, make them understand and let them choose
Yes, but would you say the same thing about law? Or driving rules? Would you say it shouldn't be obeyed because ppl find it hard to follow them? Ik hijab shouldn't be forced, but in iran, it's the law and law isn't always about what ppl want or not, just raising some points😶🌫️
I completely understand why Irani girl doesnt wear hijab properly, she's born in a country where religion is mandatory and 'forced'. She probably heard so many "you're not muslim" kind of comment if she didnt do what musli supposed to do. Like you can't force faith on people, everyone have their own journey and you should not be the one who make them want to end the journey. Don't be the person that make other lose faith.
im glad u and other comments are aware its not islams fault😢 cuz there is so much islamphobe on twitter and it makes me mad, islam shouldnt be like this at all, its THOSE peoples fault not islam...
Hijab is a religious requirement for Muslim women. It's not a cultural tradition and it doesn't mean you're oppressed by your culture. Hijab isn't just about covering up your hair; it also means covering up all of your body except your face, hands and feet
I just want to add something as a Malaysian and as a muslim, women cant wear fabric that has christmas print on it because that would mean they're supporting or celebrating it and it would go against our beliefs in islam. We respect all religion out there and also, in islam there are no rules that stated you have to wear a hijab to be a muslim, when you are ready and feel comfortable on wearing it then you should wear it❤
Yes I want to apologise because I made a mistake in saying that. Christmas prints or anything that resembles another religion, we muslims cannot wear them.
Hijab or Jilbab is wajib (Obligatory) for women muslim. But, fashion to wearing hijab are allowed as long as modesty and no other religious elements included. Even wearing pail/bucket still consider hijab as long as it cover the required part of your body that has been recorded in Al- Quran. .

The half hijab the Iranian women is wearing is more of a cultural hijab, while the Indonesian and Malaysian hijab are religious. But what really bothered me is the Iranian womens hijab that kept slipping 😭 she kept fixing it, made me so mad. Also they are talking about the price being 3-10USD while in Canada its 30-50$
Maybe because in Indonesia and Malaysia, the price is cheaper than other countries. But if you go to a branded store then you will find the price of the hijab is around 30-50$ or even higher than that.
Actually 😅 the hijab lowest price point is cheap. But we have one that cost thousand dollars like depending on the item they were made. I know the swarwoski beaded stone hijab were of hefty price. Also certain cotton or higher quality grade shawl from chiffon. So she's given the really low cost one that most average people would buy. But if you prefer boutique price it's mostly the same as what you mentioned. Also Malaysia and Indonesia produced hijab locally, many of local brand being sold into other countries too, so surely the price will be two time fold.
I live in the UK and it's £3-8 but when you buy it online from those hIJABI InfluENCERs they sell the same hijab for £15-40. They are real scammers. You need to buy it from the local shops with the cute grandmas or go to the wholesalers with the indian/punjabi salesmen that start speaking to you in arabic😂
I really feel bad for the women in iran. They are actually opressed because their country forces them to wear it unlike indonesia or malaysia where they have the option. When you make peole do something by force it makes them not want to do it. Islam isn't supposed to be like that. Yes, women are required to wear hijabs but this is a choice between them and Allah, not the government. Islam focuses on our intentions a lot so if you are just wearing hijab for your parents or government then that isn't hijab it's just a cloth you wore for humans not God. You can advise them but if someone doesn't want to do something then that is a choice that they have made and they are to deal with those consequences when they face Allah.
What exactly oppressing about wearing hijab? What are you losing from wearing it? Sure, you lose the choices, but that's it. There's no negatives from wearing it.
I agree very much. Because what you said is the situation in Iran now. Because some people like to wear hijab and some people don't like to wear it. It should be respected, not forcing someone to do it by force and violence. I think. In Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia, they have the right to choose and can wear or not wear.
Also the problem is more than this dude. We should learnt that Islam rules are like individual and not individuals. Praying is not something that can anyone force to do. But publicity rules are different bzc have effects. Like differences between Hagh o Allah & Hagho alNas ! And unfortunately the Iranian government couldn't teach and manage it in correct way and it just do something wrong by forcing. That is also bad effect.
in my part of malaysia it's not really an option, more of forced option. If you choose not to wear one, you become a social outcast and many people who moved here, who do not choose to wear a hijab, chose to leave because they were being bullied sadly. We need to teach tolerance and respect for other people even if it clashes against our own beliefs. Our own relationship with God is the one that matters.
@@whiteasparagus843 Yes, I agree. It depends on the person who wants to wear hijab or not. In Europe, they put a lot of pressure on Muslims and don't even care about them. Europeans think that Islam is a superstitious religion. But if they know what features and points it has, their attitude towards the Qur'an and the Islamic religion will change and change, and they may even accept Islam.
Indonesian used to wear hijab like that. In my mom's era (forgot the years, i think it happen in Suharto era), women forbid to wear hijab in any office, and sometimes, women with hijab got pressed. So one with strong believe wear it juat like that. But they wear one with heavy material, so the hijab not gonna lose so easy.
I think a big part of that is it's not hers since she borrowed it from someone else. If it's once you were all the time she would know the weight and the position of the pins she would add to keep it from falling all the time.

you guys seriously dont understand the trauma iranian women go through on a daily basis, they get killed for not wearing the hijab. the religion is forced onto them. they didnt get the space most other muslims got. they never actually got to understand what the religion really meant and felt a connection with it. to them religion is just a punishment and oppression. bashing the iranian girl in this video is just insensitive. my heart goes out to all the iranian girls suffering rn, may allah help them.
Hijab means "covered" basically. all the parts required for you to cover it is called hijab. that goes to men as well. it just synonyms with the headscarf muslim women wear when you heard the word hijab even tho it's not specifically that. women are all parts besides face, hands and feet. and must wear loose clothes, anything that's not tight to the body. men's hijab is from bellybutton to the knees. even tho it may varies slightly depends on mazhab
men barely need to cover up like this. The hijab was implemented so that you weren't confused with slave girls who were harassed by the Muslim men and it was all because the second Caliph Umar wanted the prophet Muhammed's wives to dress like this so that they were recognised as free women. He even stalked them at night when they went out to pee in the desert and recognised the tall one (Sauda) to make sure it was implemented. I do wonder why the men are allowed to show chest and back? Is it just for practical purposes and whatever work the men traditionally did in these areas required them to wear less clothing than women? Or is it that women are more at risk to r*pe and so it’s a safety issue that women are told to cover more?
I don't want to disrespect someone's relationship with God, but I also don't want people misunderstand it. Hijab style of the lady from Iran doesn't count as hijab actually. It has mixed with culture I guess. According to our holy Quran, it is said that hijab should cover hair, neck and shoulders.
@@Tomf-tz4pd The Quran mentioned the hijab as a head and body cover two times, and Allah didn't specify an appearance all women should abide by. Hijab in Islam is not just about covering your hair or wearing loose clothing. Hijab is actually a way of regulating one's behavior and it is not just for women. In Islam, men must also wear hijab (but not covering hair). For example, not slandering someone, not lying and deceiving someone, not gossiping about someone( may not be what it seems to you), respecting people's choices, etc. Covering your hair and wearing loose clothes is the last stage of hijab. Some people have their hair covered but they are not hijab because hijab is measured by behavior, of course, veiling is an order sent down by God.

:/ WELL! I hate to break it to you but technically in Islam you can't wear a hijab while showing your hair and actually the purpose of hijab is the following : it's meant to protect you and get rid of any bad intentions so that people would love you for who you are and not for your beauty or how attractive you are because the beauty will fade away one day so that when a guy loves you would love you for who you are and not for how beautiful your hair is or your body is Because that beauty, You can save it for marriage later on ;) Personally speaking, wearing hijab also teaches you not to fall into that trap of trying to seek validation from males or anyone expect your god, and to be committed to God although some people don't follow the rules doesn't make it okay to break the rules and I as a Muslim I believe that people can take their time in their Journey of embracing Islam you you can start wearing like kimi and slowly but surely embracing modesty but not change the rules as you wish Speaking about the question concerning whether if it is eligible or Islamic to wear the hijab with the Christmas symbols it is 100% not Islamic at all because it's not that we hate Christmas or anything it's just that we believe that Jesus was a prophet of God and not the God and that Jesus was never crucified that's why we would never wear the the cross so anything that would symbolize something that contradict our beliefs we shouldn't wear it And what's more weird is that some people wear the cross just for the aesthetic which is very offensive to our brothers and sisters who are Christians Christianity is not an aesthetic okay! I hope that helped💗🤍🙏🏼
Just sharing about covering of the hair specifically, there is no verse that mentions hair but to cover the bosoms or use the already culturally worn head covering due to desert environment to cover the bosoms and dress modestly. But most importantly is to lower our gaze against immodesty

Hijab is obligatory for every Muslim. For women, it means covering all parts of the body except the hands, feet and face so that they are not visible. For men, it is obligatory to cover from the navel to the kneecap. In fact, hijab was first commanded on the eyelids of Muslim men and women. Muslim men and women must protect their eyes and all their limbs from haram. Women are more delicate and sensitive than men, like a diamond. If you have a diamond, do you want to hide it and protect it or do you want to show it to everyone and expose it? This is why hijab is obligatory for every Muslim woman. We are Allah's precious pearls and that is why He has ordered hijab to protect us.
Many Muslims don't realise how slowly Islam took over Indonesia. Like even in the 20th Century most Indonesians were pretty lax until the 1960s, most women never even covered their heads until the 2000s. If you ever wonder why Indonesian women wear that 'double hijab' with strings when they pray, it's because that stringed hijab used to be their only hijab, and they only put it on for praying.

Yes, it is really need long time to change the culture of hijab in Indonesia. Full covered hijab was identical with religious school like Muhammadiyah or ponpes. I remember when i was in high school. My relatives though i was a student at Muhammadiyah when in fact i studied in public high school.
@@d.k.hapsari6030if I'm not mistaken, Muhammadiyah dressed more 'modern hijab' style while Nahdatul Ulama wore more 'Iranian style' hijab combined with kebaya.
@@kaysmith8992 not really, the styles of hijab were not standardized by the organizations. Its more to the people themselves. Of course, Muhammadiyah schools made rule and regulation follows Islamic law regarding hijab, but i still saw some female students don't wear their hijab properly yet. But, there are also many woman who affiliated with Muhammadiyah and wear big traditional hijab so do NU, wear modern style hijab that cover the whole head and hair. While those who wear "Iranian like style" and kebaya mostly older women who majority live in rural or village area and didn't receive comprehensive Islamic education.
Indonesians used to wear Iranian style hijab in the old days. Google Sinta Nuriya the former first lady of Indonesia, that's what they used to wear. The modern hijab style only became dominant around the 1990s.
THIS IS SO EXCITINGGG.. PLEASE INVITE THEM AGAIN AND TALK MORE ABOUT ISLAM.. ISLAM IS A REALLY BEAUTIFUL RELIGION AND FULL OF LOVE ALSO HAPPINESS (^o^)
As a Iranian teenager I tend to wear more fashionable .. but also there are some people that wear Chador and it covers the whole body except for face (like my family!) There are many types of people.. u don't have to judge the whole country by only one person... Some people wear hijab by force because the government want us to be like eachother! It's an Islamic country and If u don't wear hijab, they will fine u but I have a question is resorting to force legal in Islam?! :)
Many people believe that wearing a hijab serves as protection for women, and while that might be true, I personally see it as a way to set boundaries for myself. Honestly, as a woman, I sometimes feel the urge to show off my beauty to get compliments-not just to men, but also to other women.
Why u guys argue about this little details? For any religion or culture ,Isn't it more important to cultivate your heart, be a good person and do good deeds than to focus on these details all day long?
They're confused themselves, hijab means covering the attractive body parts of a women the best word for it is modest way to present themselves it can be done with traditional clothing as well. Now it has become an fashion trend the main concept is to cover hair , shoulder and waist properly so the body curve is not that much shown(also tight clothes that shows body shape, transparent fabrics). Except hair other two things are not maintained which is making hijab more complicated.every country has the scarf thing and modest clothing no one is pointing out the main concept rather attacking or intimidating others with their beliefs. Hijab is more simple than people are making it nowadays. This girls are more triggered by them rather than being confident and sure about it.
To everyone criticizing the irani woman you could you make the same point by saying Malaysian girls hijab isn’t covering her chest or that none of them are wearing nikab
Although men & women is different, they have same responsibility. In my understanding Hijab is responsible to use by women to protect their beauty from men eyes. While the men responsible to control their eyes from womens beauty. Thats why its sin both for men to watch women more than it should be & women if not using hijab in front of male. Cmiiw 🙏
as a muslim myself, i have to correct some of the statements that have been made in this video. - you should wear the hijab in a manner that doesn’t make you stand out. so choosing bright and flashy colours in a society wear people usually don’t wear hijab with patterns and only simple colours makes you stand out. - hijab with a christmas tree pattern is always forbidden since christmas is a festival that non-muslims celebrate it and is a festival of disbelief so we can’t wear a scarf with it on it.
Correct share the Quran suras if actual reason.Muhammad ordered women to wear the veil only because one of his wives went to defecate and Muhammad's creepy friend recognized her Sahih Bukhari 1:4:148, most authentic collection of hadiths " The wives of the Prophet used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqia at Medina) to answer the call of nature at night(💩). 'Umar used to say to the Prophet "Let your wives be veiled," but Allah's Apostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam'a the wife of the Prophet went out at 'Isha' time and she was a tall lady. 'Umar addressed her and said, "I have recognized you, O Sauda." He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of "Al-Hijab" (A complete body cover excluding the eyes)" Modesty? Musannaf Ibn Shaybah 6236: Anas reported: ‘Umar once saw a slave-girl that belonged to us wearing a scarf, so Umar hit her and told her: ‘Don’t assume the manners of a free woman." Sunan Bayhaqi 2/227: Anas bin Malik said: ‘The slave-girls of Umar were serving us with uncovered hair and their breasts shaking”
1-What is Islam? The word "Islam" means peace and submission. Peace means to be at peace with yourself and your surroundings and submission means submission to the will of God. A broader meaning of the word "Islam" is to achieve peace by submitting to the will of God. This is a unique religion with a name which signifies a moral attitude and a way of life. Judaism takes its name from the tribe of Juda, Christianity from Jesus Christ, Buddhism from Goutam Buddha and Hinduism from Indus River. However, Muslims derive their identity from the message of Islam, rather than the person of Muhammed (Peace be upon him), thus should not be called "Muhammadans". 2- Who is Allah? Allah is the Arabic word for "one God". Allah is not God of Muslims only. He is God of all creations, because He is their Creator and Sustainer. 3-Does Allah look like us? No, Allah is perfect. He is not like any of His creations. A Muslim does not say a single thing about Allah other than what Allah says about Himself. Allah is Perfect and Unique. 4- Who is a Muslim? The word "Muslim" means one who submits to the will of God. This is done by declaring that "there is no god except one God and Muhammad is the messenger of God." In a broader sense, anyone who willingly submits to the will of God is a Muslim. Thus, all the prophets preceding the prophet Muhammad are considered Muslims. The Quran specifically mentions Abraham who lived long before Moses and Christ that, "he was not a Jew or a Christian but a Muslim," because, he had submitted to the will of God. Thus there are Muslims who are not submitting at all to the will of God and there are Muslims who are doing their best to live an Islamic life. One cannot judge Islam by looking at those individuals who have a Muslim name but in their actions, they are not living or behaving as Muslims. The extent of being a Muslim can be according to the degree to which one is submitting to the will of God, in his beliefs and his actions. 5- Who was Muhammad? (Peace be upon him) In brief, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was born in a noble tribe of Mecca in Arabia in the year 570 AD. His ancestry goes back to Prophet Ishmael (Peace be upon him), son of Prophet Abraham (Peace be upon him). His father died before his birth and his mother died when he was six. He did not attend a formal school since he was raised first by a nurse as it was the custom those days, and then by his grandfather and uncle. As a young man, he was known as a righteous person who used to meditate in a cave. At age 40, he was given the prophethood when the angel, Gabriel, appeared in the cave. Subsequently, the revelations came over 23 years and were compiled in the form of a book called the Quran which Muslims consider as the final and the last word of God. The Quran has been preserved, unchanged, in its original form and confirms the truth in the Torah, the psalms and the Gospel. 6-How did Muhammad (peace be upon him) become a prophet and a messenger of God? At the age of 40, while engaged in a meditative retreat, Muhammad (peace be upon him) received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. This revelation, which continued for twenty-three years, is known as the Quran. As soon as he began to recite the words he heard from Gabriel, and to preach the truth that God had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered bitter persecution, which grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to emigrate. This event, the Hijrah, 'migration', in which they left Makkah for the city of Madinah some 260 miles to the north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar. After several years, the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his followers were able to return to Makkah, where they forgave their enemies and established Islam definitively. Before the Prophet (peace be upon him) died at the age of 63, the greater part of Arabia was Muslim, and within a century of his death Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as Far East as China. 8-What is the Quran? The Quran is a record of the exact words revealed by God through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was memorized by Muhammad (peace be upon him) and then dictated to his companions, and written down by scribes, who crosschecked it during his lifetime. Not one word of its 114 Surahs, has been changed over the centuries, so that the Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) fourteen centuries ago. 8-What is the Quran about? The Quran, the last revealed Word of God, is the prime source of every Muslim's faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern us as human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, and law, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and an equitable economic system .
The Iranian girl is more beautiful than the others and that Iranian girl has shown the vision and outlook of the Iranian youth because in Iran the hijab is a law and nothing else and we have nothing to do with the hijab of other countries.
