@@FriedDoggy lol oh ok was curious because people were saying he was the best he had ever been this year but I already know Chovy is the best through LCK haha :D
@@FriedDoggy Caps was much better this MSI than he was last year tho? Obviously chovy is better, but caps wouldn't get solokilled in the ahri vs liss matchup this time around.
The only problem with T1 getting Faker to rest is that Poby just isn't it for mid-lane, and they should have, since Faker was injured, found a talent and trained that talent so he could play in the first round of the summer. Then Faker could say he would do the second round of the summer, and then they could share the playoff. Something like that would work well. Faker also had to learn techniques to mentally block out the pain; Guma's fingers were hurting; I think Oner's neck and back were hurting. Everyone was suffering from fatigue. Forgot what the doctor called it, but T1 hasn't had a break since the world's, so it is finally hitting them, I think. Just yesterday, I think it was Guma who said they now have a short vacation before they have to start preparing for Summer and then go to EUC. hopefully, after that, they will have a well-needed rest before preparing for the Worlds. I don't know what's going to happen, but I wish T1 all the best for the coming events, and hopefully, everything will come right.
It reminds me of Alex Ich in the M5 era. He was long the best mid in EU, or even the world for a while. In an interview he answered the same question about what they do to stay ahead of the curve. He said that its rlly hard to stay on top and stay ahead on everyone else. Because everyone is trying to reach your level. But being on top, there is no level to reach because you are the goal everyone is going for. Improving yourself when on top is hard because nobody knows where you can improve.
Cubby's praise about Yike seems wild to me. I STILL felt like Yike (together with Hans) was G2s weakest link this tournament. and praising him for playing Ivern is even wilder. it's like praising a playmaking, engage champion support player like Hyli for his best champion being Yuumi
"faker career over" yeah 2nd seed of lck performing really well means he is washed LMFAO i cant with people sometimes.... imagine you have one bad event and people think you are washed, look how bad t1 was without faker last year, he is not over
People forgot T1 took GenG to 5 games last spring finals. They were also up 2-1 at that time and had match point. Faker just need some rest, theres no need to panic and he wont retire any time soon
Yea just cause Faker is the best doesnt mean he is perfect in every game no player in league is. Is a team game by the end of the day which many players seem to forget.
ahhh yiss!! Broxah sayin something I was dying to hear from a pro about the Khazix pick. Giniro asking the right questions. Cubby lookin like the intern in charge taking down minutes of the meeting. GG!
My favorite part was the first half talk about keeping it PG then Gini just popping off the second half! Love The Jungle! Shout out to eXyu, he didn't deserve it. Hopefully we see him back in the LCS, he played fine for his Rookie* split.
T1’s main reason for not being as good was the lane swap meta negatively impacts them more than any other team in the world because they love to play this unique style of strong side top and bot at the same time. Lane swaps made it so Zeus can’t pick carries like Yone which is where T1 gets advantages. Look at how much better they look when Zeus played Camille for example, the one top carry that was playable
Here is something, guys: Faker doesn't care about winning the lane because you'll have young talent or other players showing up and being better than you to win the lane. Faker, to win, relies on roaming and making plays, obviously shot calling for the boys, and, of course, Team fights. Those areas they focus on the most, and he has changed his game as he goes on. He has to adapt in different ways and can always be relied on for the clutch plays to get ahead, win, or even get back into the game. If it wasn't for his wrist, Faker would still be challenging Chovy. Without a doubt, maybe he will again if he gets time to rest his wrist.
Chovy has literally outperformed faker for the last few years at every event, regular season and playoffs. Fakers changed his game out of necessity. Knight/Chovy just are better individual players. If Faker could lane, or individually perform the same as them even when healthy dont you think he would? He's changed because he has too. Hes the most experiences player in the world. He'll never be mechanically perfect like his peak again, lets not pretend and just embrace him being the best shotcaller/team player in the world.
@@slendian Sorry yes that is true against each other. But first round of Spring Faker was doing amazing but then 2nd round when everything went to shit with the ddos not just because of ddos but performance wise he did drop a bit ended up being second which still was pretty awesome in my books. When I say keep up or duking it out with him I'm not meaning he is going to be ahead of Chovy lol sorry but to stay in second place and doing so well and being able to duke it out together to get POG haha is pretty cool. I am proud of the way he has changed his game and adapted to all changes I wouldn't have it any other way. I see where I went wrong in the end there.
@@rachelheke5737 I saw your last comment before you deleted it. Being top 5 in the world for 10+ years is incredibly impressive. Lets give him the props for that similar to a player like Impact or Rookie. He gets votes because hes everyones favorite player not the best player.
@@slendian Man I have no idea what he is made of or how he does it because for this long and that T1 schedule though he really is built different. Yeah well exactly that the favorite player well for me T1 in general are my favorite players ahaha then through Bin, Elk, Ruler too :D
It is a crime how few subs this podcast has! Although I don't know how many more times I can listen to the sob-story of Karmine Corp lol. You should try get the Rat King in as a special guest - viewership would explode xD Question for next time: If boot camping in other regions really does level up our team (both EU and NA) why don't they boot camp more? For those teams that went early in the tournament: Fly, FNC, etc. why don't they just stay in region and get as much practice as possible?
At this point idk if Broxah is a mega G2 hater or just simply a bad analyst. Lets just ignore that he ignored the first T1 series and focus what he said about the 2. series: 1. One this what was rly missing was draft While he is completely right about that in the first game (G2 overcooked that 1) he wasnt with the 2-3 games. I wouldnt go so far that G2 heavily outdrafted T1 but they had adventageous drafts in both games even if they werent conventional. 2. We randomly started prioritising Draven Not randomly, Hans Sama ALWAYS prioritizes Draven if its available thats why was it permabanned till the TES game against G2 and it was only open there cuz JKL is also a Draven player. Oh and the pick actually worked in Game2 3. Why are we locking in Draven? Like do we expect Hans to just slam Gumayusi on lane? I dont think so. Well no1 expected Hans to slam JKL on lane either who was before that match was called a TOP2 ADC at the tournament cuz how well he performed) and its not like Hans was absolutely outclassed against Guma in the previous series (tho admitedly Guma was better but not overwhelmingly). He went even on lane till he got TPd on by Faker, and killed. He had a better position than Guma later in the game and the Draven worked. It was a Keria insane find that got T1 the game not Guma. And the worst is that all these comes AFTER he himself literally said G2 has to work on teamfighting since the asian teams are better at it. Which is 100% true and was the main reason why they've lost vs T1. So idk what the hell he wanted with all those draft complains.
51:21 Daglas one of the best performing junglers in spring? Good one Mr Broxah, that's exactly the opposite what occured, since he was actually one of the worst junglers, but I guess we can just say random things on podcasts nowadays.
you guys keep saying chovy this chovy that he was pretty invisible in the finals again ngl geng botlane was the one that stood out the most and there jungle chovy is has had so many super teams its crazy it took him 6/7 yrs to win one trophy
Bro Chovy has never been on a super team until this year. No way you can say a team with Doran (solid but no superstar) and Peanut (this late in his career) is a super team. I like Doran and Peanut but they are very good players, not superstar players. Also Chovy literally hard carried that HLE team to quarters which all the Chovy haters like to ignore
Yeah coz I've seen it every year. Someone is always dub as the best player potentially surpassing Faker but until now, Faker is still there as the man everyone is being compared to as the best every year
I'm just more worried about what they're going to do with Faker's injury, it would have been good if someone was trained to fill in for Faker, which they had with Scout but of course, Faker kept playing, and Scout left, which he was too good to have sat around for years and wait so understand why he left. If he keeps playing like this, he will make things worse for himself. Poby is just not for LCK but is, I guess, the only person they have that can be subbed in for Faker, say, the first round of Summer. Since T1 probably starts with playing against GenG Faker might play that series and then sub Poby for the lower-tier teams, but whatever happens, I hope it all works out for the best
I think that people simply overestimate the growth of Gen.G whereas most other teams performed worse from the east thanks to laneswaps. Plus saying the gap widened between Gen.G and T1 ignores that BLG played worse against Gen.G than they did against T1 and we never saw T1 against Gen.G at MSI.
also the hype for chovy is outgrowing the actual man, because everyone's running to make chovy the greatest, but he had a bad finals (for his standards), and his games before it were not him doing his best, he simply wasn't playing his peak there.
@@brazzb761 right and compared to the LCK soring play offs where he carried his team to the finals, he's not like that at MSI, their botlane made the diff
Wtf you talking about, GenG won two BO1 and one BO5 against T1 this year with their current roster. In recent years T1 barely ever won against GenG. We have seen this match up countless times already. Also, T1 can only blame themself for not playing against Geng by losing to BLG twice. Typical Faker's simps excuse, they just played worse against us than against you!! You based it on what? Both match-ups have nothing to do with each other and that is not how you base team strengths.
KC will go 10 again til they replace Targemas. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player, but not LEC class. He proved that clearly enough. Probably because he is too shy or something?
I thought they gonna do commentary on the G2 series that they hyped so much on previous vid, but no they are still trashtalking T1. NA and EU talking trash about faker is an old tale. Their west superiority complex makes them hate T1, they need to be superior over the east but they forget that T1 is a dark horse team since the young squad. These people never compare their team to the best team in the east (currently GENG and BLG), they just hate T1 popularity for years and its keep going since T1 lives in their head.
@@potheadesens8725 do you also think G2 beat TES in a random Bo5? G2 has taken games off eastern teams since last year's MSI they were going to actually win an entire series eventually
@@eVillGaming-eng i didnt bring up anything about tes so wtf are you projecting here? All i said was taking bo1 results seriously is laughable lmao you are comparing apples to oranges
All the games were good no anticlimactic just good ahh league both teams tried everything geng just won it out just because it's not 5 games don't make this one of the greatest series with top players in the world playin the highest League
The G2 that lost to NRG.. did knock down WBG/Damwon Kia at worlds.. (reason why DKia got eliminated in civil war with KT).. Other then that FNC won like 1? or 2 games But obviously winning b05 vs LPL/LCK is the main thing.. and g2 did great vs TES/PSG.. even vs T1 i didn't think they were massively outclassed.. T1 just made better decisions/better under pressure in mid to late game.. But that makes sense this T1 team has been to almost every tournament final in the past 3-4 years at this point.. This g2 team has rarely had that kind of pressure at least internationally and domestically they rarely get challenged (+ its like 99% in a small studio) Having said that EU.. has won 4 b05 (that i can remember) vs LCK.. all time.. and all 4 wins were by g2 in 2019/20.. Its incredibly hard to beat these guys.. Feel like there was a big mix of G2 looking very good and T1 just not performing well.. which led people to overrate G2 chances Also on Draven.. i feel like T1 threw down the gauntlet and G2 accepted.. Its something that just gets banned almost EVERY game vs G2.. T1 get a massive draft edge if G2 just accept that and don't pick it
In general, this MSI was pretty awesome apart from the need to lengthen it out a bit, so many players ended up performing while being really sick time to recover would have been good especially lower bracket that's 15 games in 3 days for lower bracket I would say that may have played a part in BLG performance but then they didn't play that well if I remember the first series against GenG
And should add for a more positive light , your content is good already without the clickbaits :) On that note , no new Jungle coming up before LEC starts ?
What? How can your perception be so different? Gini's role in this setting is pretty much to ask the questions, as far as I perceive it, she is the one who says nothing because her job is asking, not saying? Yes, she drops the most f-bombs, but that's not actually content, just a way of expressing yourself.
When we are talking about flyquest, how is nobody mentioning busios performance? hes was so bad it was crazy to watch my eyes where bleeding from hes gameplay crazy they rly need a new support hes lvl at msi where shocking
Obviously he can't compare to many of the more experienced world class support players we saw at MSI, but Busio is still new-ish to competing internationally. While I sort of agree that his performance was pretty weak and he made a lot of mistakes, I do NOT think they should replace him. FlyQuest knew when they signed him that he is still a fairly new player; they are investing in his POTENTIAL for the future, especially alongside his fellow rookie botlaner Massu. Cut him some slack! He will bounce back in summer. He needs to reflect on this tournament and grind out those rookie nerves, is all.
This kind of takes are what happens when you have people who have bad eye test and base their entire opinions on what the kda scores say. Outside of two missed Yone ults, he played extremely well given the situations he was put in.
Also you couldn’t stop yourself from calling him Choky 😂. First you guys said he would never win lck, he’s 4 times champ now, then that he wouldn’t win an international, he did, now he’s a choker because he didn’t single handedly carry his team in finals I guess 😂. Keep it up!
Ngl, the finals are not competitive enough. never thought that the hyped best bot lane in the LPL (elk and on) would lose their mind on the finals. I expected head to head performance but I am dissapointed.
