The sad part is they could charge $100 dollars for a happy meal and people would still go broke to buy it. We are living in weird times i tell you. Seriously.
they do this because they know you all will still buy it. look at all the videos of people complaining then still purchasing the food. like you spent 70$ for that lil bit of food when you could have gotten groceries for two weeks.
Its the fact that people will STILL BUY it. If we could get everyone together and just not buy ANYTHING for 2 weeks we could bring this country to its knees I stg
@@haute03 A pack of 8 organic chicken thighs will run you about 10 dollars. A huge bag of frozen vegetables will cost you about 5 dollars. That’s 15 dollars for the week. And 10x healthier than what the average person is eating. Stop with the excuses and open your eyes!
@@ardie43 years ago going to the grocery store was cheaper if you are single. But I know plenty of places to eat junk food that are cheaper than a trip to the grocery store. Especially if you go the grocery with the intent of buy fresh or frozen fruits & vegetables--don't even get me started on the price of meat.
Just my 2 cents... I think everyone here is from California or New York. In Texas, you can get most fast food meals for under $10. Not saying that fast food is worth it, but these prices are crazy, and not indicative of many parts of the country.
I don’t know I went to DQ before the pandemic and I would get meals (with blizzard) for $6. I only stop there if we were swimming like 6 hours. I went there this summer and it was $12. I live in Georgia.
I live in one of the five boroughs of New York. Wendy's is one of the only restaurants I could find where you can get a meal including drinks under $10. Everything else is like 15$ and up. Especially in Manhattan
What I noticed in most of these videos is they are complaining, YET they still spent their money on it instead of walking away! The companies are never going to lower their prices because they know in the end that these people will still just buy it and it will just become the new norm and people will give up on their convictions against them and buy it anyways....
Here in MA the fast food prices along with taxes (and tips) is so high. The money spent on groceries are better spent because then at least the money stretches out for many days, being able to prep meals and it's healthier. It seems like fast food is now becoming a treat for once in a while consumption. I have Starbucks or McDonalds like every few months now. I've been making coffee at home or drink coffee at work, saved lots of money from Starbucks coffee.
Lol i forgot Biden drives the market to such an extent that Wendy's needs to increase prices. It's not like globally we are experiencing a recession/inflation.
Problem solved itself, don’t eat fast food. Cook your own food. A lot of people are lazy, I get the convenience aspect every once in a while but seriously just make your own food. Life is better that way.
CA mandates $20 HR for fast food workers. McDonald's and Chipotle have said they will raise menu prices to compensate. Keep the government out of business.
Fast food restaurants should just have 1-2 employees and go full force with self service KIOSK's. They can keep prices down by going that route, but their choosing not too!
@SaL-ep7zb are you kidding? Do you how many tantrums people would have if they had to take their own order and grab their own shit. The general consensus is that people don't like dealing with machines. Especially old people. That's also a bunch of jobs that are being replaced with robots, we need jobs. Fast food spots are perfect for younger people to get their foot in the door.
So you'd rather the pay stay at 7.50/hr and have your tax dollars supplement the wages of full-time workers. This is why this country is falling apart.
