That’s right. The Torah is holy, just and good. It points to Yeshua and at the same time reveals sin. And with the spirit of God- we don’t reject Yeshua or Torah!

Scripture proves scripture and the New Testament authors had a good handle on the older testament. They chose their words wisely and were much more hermeneutically tuned. The Galatians had been bewitched but not in the way you think. These are young gentile converts, out side of the land, who were dealing with the Jewish Orthodox missionaries (Pharisees who had their own added list of rules) and they were also dealing with their own immediate and extended family steeped in pagan mystery religions that had their own calendar “holy day” observances and their own pagan temple worship. They were moving back into a works based salvation from both sides. God never gave the law as a means for anyone to earn their salvation. This is pagan and eventually became a Pharisaical invention after the temple was rebuilt. That is the issue here, not Torah observance. This truth is the law God gave to Moses and is what Messiah kept perfectly. He kept the parts that pertained to him. Anyone that has ever been saved have been saved by grace through faith. It was faith before the cross and it’s faith even after the cross. It is through Gods faithfulness and Gods graciousness. Now that you’re saved… if you love him… you’ll keep his commands. You don’t keep his commands with the misunderstanding that you’re earning your salvation. That’s really the point and message of this video. You do it because you love him NOT because you think that if you don’t that you won’t be saved.
Christians just don’t understand, I was a Christian for many years. When I learned and understood Torah, I felt complete. I was drawn to Torah because I needed more than just NT teachings. I wanted to KNOW God and KNOW His Son Yeshua.

Amen! If we truly follow Yeshua, the Father's Torah is written on our hearts as Jeremiah mentioned. Just as Yeshua confounded everyone by saying even hateful thoughts against a brother or lust in our hearts violate Father's command on a deeper level, so we need to be obedient to the intentions of the Spirit in all scripture rather than following a physical law for purely religious reasons.
@Tzion Talks The Torah is the first five book of the bible. Genesis exodus Leviticus numbers and Deuteronomy. These are Christian books and the basis in all Abrahamic religions. It explains the beginning. The Torah is just the name of the first 5 books. Categorizing a part of the old testament. Perhaps you are confusing it with another Jewish book that's not shared with Christianity.
@Tzion Talks list each one of your gripes rather than generalizing. Our Messiah never once broke the Torah and I admit that the Apostle Paul seems to be anti Torah if you misinterpret his scriptures as 2nd Peter chapter 3 warns us about doing.
I like this video and get what you are saying. But Paul claimed to be blameless in the law of the Pharisees. He just stated that the law he kept was the Pharisees law. But elsewhere he talks about his sin of covetousness, called himself a blasphemer and persecuter of the church and chief among sinners. So Paul did not and could not mean he is faultless in YHWH's Torah. He stands condemned as we all do when compared to YHWH's standards.
Precisely, I was hoping somebody caught this. Nobody can boast before the father, otherwise sacrifices wouldn't be required, and Yeshua would not need to come... However, everyone has failed in keeping Gods commandments, and Yeshua came set us free from binding traditions, to restore the kingdom, and to rescue the sheep (all who hear his voice). FAITH has been the means since Abraham according to Yeshua and Hebrews 11. Therefore, of course, Jews need Yeshua, the truth will set them free.

I know this is an older video but I have been feeling that I don't consider myself a 'Christian' because that label has become too broad and I'd rather be on a more 'narrow' road, so to speak. I Now call myself a Follower of Jesus/Yeshua instead. I don't go to church anymore as it's so watered down and most have beliefs that I don't (pretrib rapture, celebrate Halloween) I've been looking at the 'Torah keepers' channel but I don't know, I just seem lost. Any advice?
Yahushua is the fullest expression of what the Torah's goal is. There is a saying "The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed, the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed." Yahushua is the greatest expression of the Torah. Our hard hearts fail to see the love and relationship that is in the Torah but through the Messiah we have it revealed to us. What does it mean to follow Yahushua, surely that includes keeping the Torah! There is no way that Paul is saying he was blameless in his Torah keeping before Yahweh. The context is saying that from the viewpoint of a Pharisee, which he was, he was considered "Blameless." He starts off by saying " if anyone else thinks he," These are the thoughts of men, who think they are blameless before Yahweh by their Torah keeping. Well we know that all men have fallen short of the perfection that the Torah calls for. Paul see this perfection in the Messiah, he sees his own righteousness compared to Messiah's and that is what he calls rubbish. He would never call the Torah rubbish. He was able to see clearly the man made doctrines of the Pharisee's and his own Torah keeping as being worthless before Yahweh. The Torah calls for a higher standard than the uncircumcised heart can understand (from the written word) without the Spirit of Yahweh living in it. He writes his Torah on our hearts by placing the Messiah there who is the embodiment of the fullness of the Torah. So yes, the scriptures mean exactly what they say. The Goal of the Torah is to lead us to the Messiah, whom through we receive the Holy Spirit that writes the full meaning of the Torah on our hearts and in our minds. We are not saved by keeping the Torah, we need Messiah for Salvation. We keep the Torah because of the Messiah. That's how I understand it at this time. Shalom, peace

To obey the torah in the flesh is rubbish but to obey the torah in the spirit ; that is Great glory. The Torah is to outward action as the gospel is to inward action ; What is of greater righteousness to not commit adultery or to not lust? What is of greater righteousness to sacrifice a animal or the son of man on your behalf. The torah is made by and based of the Word of GOD; That very same word and foundation became flesh .
A lot of believers do not follow Torah as most of them do not keep the Sabbath holy or do the feasts. Torah keeping is not done automatically. Only the Lord can open people's eyes to it. The Holy Spirit and faith in Yeshuah go hand in hand with Torah keeping.

Amen! Many Christians are deceived into thinking because we have Jesus, we discard the Law. Many Torah Observant Christians can get carried away and let the Law become our Guardian and forget that we’re lead by the Spirit, and that whole the Law IS to be obeyed, it’s not our chief purpose. So how can a rabbi or a pastor embarrass each other? They both are saying that one is pagan while Our way is the right way, but they are both wrong. No one has the authority of God and both believe they do. And anytime you assume His authority u r doing things your way, not His. Both assume His authority, by doing it their way, with their thoughts, ideas, and commands, therefore making them both pagan. But in the end my opinion doesn’t count for nothing, nor any humans, what matters is what HE SAYS. If he is truly God.
Does anyone know if. The. ‘Complete Jewish Bible ‘ is on audio yet? It is very difficult to read and try your best to pronounce the Hebrew nouns correctly without hearing the pronounced correctly. Hello, I don't know if you have a video about it but what do you think about the objection to Jesus being the Messiah that says since he wasn't anointed in the traditional way he can't be considered a Messiah. Some Jews raise this objection to dismiss the whole issue about Jesus.
Great Video teaching! I think , many Torah believers become self righteous, thinking that Torah will replace Elohim's righteousness that is found in the Messiah. This behavior only creates division and animosity for a new believer.

Hello. I have been listening to 119 ministeries lately and I have been blessed. Have you listened to thier teaching? Do you believe they are in agreement with what you have said in this vedio? Can anyone else give some insight...? Thank you. I beleive they have made only Jesus the way of salvation but I have not heard ALL of thier teaching. I want to be approved in how I lived when I see my King. I know I am made perfect and accepted by his Blood only but just making sure I'm not decieved by following teachings of men not fully in line with the whole truth... I want to follow all that the Word of God has for me as His prized possession.

I use to keep the Old Testament laws until I realised Jesus died so I didn't have to follow any laws, I only had to love others as Christ loved me. Set free from religion into Jesus, guided by the Holy Sporit. Jesus condemned the religious because laws were for babies, for Pharisees, now we are free in Christnwe know what God wants from, how to live as He did
brother i believe that you are confusing the Torah with the law of Moses. the Torah reveals the reconciliation of all. through the prophets 1 Peter 1:10 -- 12 while the law of Moses reveals our desperate need of a savior.
So basically we don't need to fallow torah but we sued fallow torah so we can get to know Christ more and to be holy?... also how do one fallow torah? So far i (somewhat) stop eating pig and catfish, i try to keep sunday holy. And i know ther are more laws but i think that i can't fallow all of the law. So what does one do if can't fallow the law? I got more questions but i can't think of them at the moment.
The goal is to follow Christ, to conform to the image of the Son of Elohim. That means that you will keep His instructions/Torah. There are many parts to Torah some that are for the common man and many that are not. Also don't confuse it with the Oral Law or the Pharisees. You will find that as you follow Christ that following the Torah becomes second nature. Just as Christ kept the Law so you will begin to do the same as the Spirit of Elohim conforms you to His Word/Son

This is what y ou can learn. They are not true straight walkers. You can easily experience this For yourself when “god” is gonna change you from inside.
We are not under the law. But under grace. Christ is not expecting us to keep the Torah. He established a new covenant through his death. He fulfilled the requirements of the law for us. The whole law can be summed up In these two commands, love the Lord your God with all your heart. Love your neighbor as yourself. We are under grace. Paul condemned the early church about this in Galatians when they tried to uphold the law of circumcision. Upholding the law was a threat to the freedom In Christ. Paul specifically wrote about this In Romans. We are not required to follow all 600 something laws of the Torah.

Following Christ will lead to keeping Torah. It is not the Torah of the Pharisee that we are to keep, but the instructions of Elohim. As we walk in Christ we take on His nature. That nature is of one born from above who please Elohim.
Dowsblue so do we have to still rest on Saturday, or is it just our complete faith and following of Yeshuah? For me it's been conflicting because I want to keep the 10 commandments, but the one that is always blurry is the 4th commandment. My desire is to please Yah and not follow tradition of man with 633 laws, because that's impossible. But our Creator is not the author of confusion nor will He change in His words, He wrote the commandments not a man. I've been praying on this, that I maybe sealed under the blood of Yeshuah and that this maybe made clear to me. I'm not a Hebrew israelite and I prefer to be called a disciple of Yeshuah than christian. For those implicate religion, in which I completely oppose. Because I do believe that it's about our relationship with YAHUAH, Yahshuah and The Ruach Ha Quadesh. I believe that followers of any religion will be the tricked by ha satan sending the masses, deceiving even the elite into eternal damnation. I do believe that there have great attempts and tricks that the enemy continue to use to cause us to sin against our Creator knowingly and unknowingly. God gave the command to rest on the 7th day for your benefit. It is probably also prophetic, pointing to the world to come. But the "rest" that comes on the 7th day, I find to be not only rest but trust. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your OWN understanding." Trust that puts faith in God that what ever needs to be accomplished, will be, even if I rest on the Sabbath. The Scripture says " I have never seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging bread." I remember the first time I decided to obey Sabbath, I was taking on a new project that I did not know how to complete or how long it would take. It was Friday evening and Sabbath was approaching, I had to decide if I would keep Sabbath or continue working to hopefully get this project done by Monday 9am. I decided that I would obey God and nervously I put down my work. My decision was to trust God to help me complete the work. Would I fail to complete the project? I did not know. Would I do what God has said? Yes, I will. Saturday came and went and I rested. When I returned to my work I found that I understood it so much better than before that I was able to complete it and before the end of the day. That is what I mean by trust. We may not see how God will work out a situation but He as said that if will put our trust in Him he will supply our needs. Recently I read a very profound statement in Isaiah 7:9 "If you do not stand firm in your faith then you will not stand at all."
Lex, I take a lot of stock in your teaching. So I need to ask,if I don't have to keep Kosher I'm still guaranteed salvation? I wish someone would give me a straight up answer cause if I don;t have to keep Kosher I'm going to go buy me a pound of bacon today as well as some shrimp. Ive asked this question to so many yet they won't give me a straight answer, I look forward to your response cause if I don't have to keep Kosher and still be saved for putting all my trust and faith in Yeshua then I'll do so.
You answered your own question. You said you put all your trust and faith in Yeshua. He has said: Why do you call me Lord Lord, yet do not the things I say Matt 6:46-49. If you put all your trust in Him then you will seek to please Him above yourself. In fact he says "Love the Lord with all your heart, life and strength." As we walk this walk in Christ we must choose each day to follow His will or ours. He lets us make that choice and often corrects us to bring us back into line. You will find that as you follow Him, your desire will become to be more like him, to know him and to love him and you will give up anything that is not pleasing to him.
Unlearn your believes. Judaism is just a religion who hides in the Torah but they really do not keep it. They follow the rabbis and not the word (Yahshuah) The faith without works is dead.
