He is with his full power. Gambit nerfed himself because he couldnt control all the power hes capable of using. Full potential Gambit can beat the Phoenix. Im not joking.
@joseagosto5978 I don't know how but it happened in the comic. Full potential Gam is called New Sun and when thr Phoenix attacked earth he killed her and the planet was destroyed in the process.
Honest;y i think explaining Kinetic energy as a power is tricky, then to say hes super kinetic....its hard to get as a visual concept. I would assume his powers worked the same just the explosions much bigger, but this just seems like hes emitting lots of energy, which doesn't feel unique to him
