Is Her Man Unfaithful Or Just Unemployed? 

Right now just about every company and business is hiring. I don't know what he's doing but he's not looking for work.

To me it definitely sounds like depression with the information provided. She needs to sit down and have a conversation with him. He may not even know that’s what is going on so patience and support are key.

He's depressed. He's probably watching tv or something all day. Some people aren't bothered by mess the way others are. This has been a fight in the past in my relationship that I had to let go of.

Nobody coming or going from the house and not responding to the trap online seems like he’s not cheating. Unless he suspected it was a trap. She needs to just have a conversation with him

She talks to him about it, and he does nothing. No one "looks for a job" for a year. When my ex-husband was out of a job, he was "looking for a job" with beer, video games, and porn all day. No laundry was done, no errands, but not too "depressed" for doing whatever he wanted. Funny how that works.

Audrey wants to find something to get angry about. She needs to be mature and address the real issue. They need to get real with each other about what is happening rather than an imagined thing.

There's a statistic out there that's proven" in that" People that stay out of work for more than a year" 50% never return to work" there's some sort of anxiety or depression that develops and can really stymie a person's level of ambition.

Don't let your single friends destroy your marriage. She had no incling of cheating until her friend planted her seed. Depression doesn't always look like crying constantly. So many people seemed to be upbeat and happy just hours before taking their own lives. Symptoms of depression can include lack of hygiene, neglecting responsibilities, loss of interest in things they once found interesting etc. I couldn't help but roll my eyes this whole segment. A man losing his job and not being able to find work, needing to rely on his wife to take care of him and the children is a huge impact to his self esteem. Never complain about your spouse to your friends and family. Because even when things are good, they will always hold on to those nuggets of negativity you fed them. You should feel silly and try being loving and compassionate to what he's going through. Stop fighting with him about the chores and start asking him how you can help support him through this time.

I've been in this man's place. He may just be going through something with himself and doesn't know how to open up about mental health. Depression is silent.

This man is just so lazy. If he's so depressed, why isn't he reaching out to anyone? No therapy? Of course not. Does he reach out to his wife who hasn't said anything so far in a year? Nope. He's just happy to watch her work herself to the bone while he sits around pretending to be depressed. It's ridiculous. He doesn't even do anything for his kids. That would never happen with a woman. Mark my words, when she talks to him he'll just deny it.

Literally every where is hiring right now. There's not excuse not to have a job if you actually want one. Yea you might need to step down a level but at least your contributing to your Family. I don't think either parent should be a stay st home parent unless you cna definitely afford it then he better be doing all the home stuff. She's being way to passive!
