I'm in California. Daytime temps are in the 90s for the next four days or so. Just watered in some hydretain on my TTTF!!

i put Hydretain down on my lawn 2 days before the temps skyrocketed into the low 90's with no rain in site. I had to leave town for 2 weeks so i hope we get rain but we'll see how it looks when i get back. that will be a true test. I did a deep watering the day before i left.

You don't want to let the product dry on the leaves. I would water it in immediately from the hose end with a heavy stream. I do a section at a time, apply product, water in, move to another area and repeat.

Hydretain 100% works. Key item in getting through summer without dormance.

Your lawn is looking awesome Mr. Ferguson. I’m very interested to see your results. I applied a spray of azoxy, prop, Speedzone, liquid N/K/Fe, SeaK, and Natural Adjuvant on Saturday. Speedzone was toasting the strip of clover that had come up in less than 20 hours. I was seeing spots of rust fungus that I needed to treat as well. Supposed to get rain starting overnight today (Monday) and Tuesday. Debating trying to mow and put down Protene summer granular fertilizer before the rain.

Been using hydretain for 5 years and it definitely works. I sprayed half my lawn when i first tried it, and it kept that half green all summer.

Just curious about your neighbor to the right with the black fence. Who cuts the swath of grass between the evergreens and the fence?

I kinda like that sprayer better than the Ortho any way your lawn really bounced back it was looking a little sketch for a bit glad you got it under control. Have a great day.

Yeah the sprayer they put the hydration in works pretty good. Its just a variant of the Anderson's sprayers, with a slightly different bottle (better handle IMO AND its clear & easier to see liquid) and a yellow nozzle instead of a green one. But it has a "square" kind of nozzle and it helps you keep your application edges clean too. Highly reccomend you keep it. So far I've ran 4 or 5 bottles through it and it is showing no signs of any of the plastic failing or anything getting clogged from my 400+ppm hard water

Great thank you so much. I have two rows of bricks in the ground separating my lawn from my neighbors warm season grass. So killing the grass creeping over the brick was a pain. Now I can give it one blue dot and call it a day. It was hard just targeting just that small area.

Kinda weird that there really are many reviews on lawns for this stuff. It’s been around for years. I have fourplay and never really used it. I put some down last week cause why not. We will see but I think it’s hustle hype

Central FL Tampa area here. NO RAIN for at least a month. I mean 5 minutes of drizzle, 1 day. I put sod in (maybe 1000sq ft) 6 weeks ago & it has been quite the task to keep everything healthy & thriving. Hit with sod webworms now but I am good at pest identification & response. 2-way app of bifenthren liquid + imidcloprid/cyflorthin granular product. THEY WILL NOT WIN!! haha
