Hi. Did you drive the version with FCA and AEB systems? Did you ever got any collision warning or autonomous braking? I have Hyundai Kona 1.0 T-GDI 120 CP 2WD Luxury+, which in Romania is the full version and so far after few months never got a collision warning even when the Garmin dashboard Cam 55 was reacting. The dealer claims the systems are working fine but never meet the conditions to react, which in my opinion is BS.
You can adjust how early the system warns you. Change it to early warning and you'll hear it a lot. It's not BS, this system saves lives! The auto braking waits till the last possible millisecond to react. It gives you every opportunity to hit the brakes yourself first.
I have a new Hyundai Tuscon sel 2019 and the foward collision avoidance assistance system, does not work at all! and the dealer is saying it works fine.
Richard S Machado I have a Hyundai tucsan 2019 I have a slightly lower model at the preferred level. I don’t think the car can sense people but I saw it sense other cars. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tp2HQBkzF3k.html this video shows you why it does not detect people but only detects sudden stopping cars
and in North America, its pronounced "Hun-DAY" (rhymes with Sun-day - from the Super Bowl commercial several years ago). Let's get the basics right first..
