Interesting points. Thank you. A way to deal with inflation in loans is simply to state the principal as an equivalent weight of gold. I want to borrow 100 dollars from you. That equates to 1.35g of gold today. So you lend me cash equivalent of 1.35g of gold. Then when I pay you back, I pay you back cash equivalent of 1.35g of gold at the time of repayment. No loss in purchasing power. No interest even, never mind Riba. What do you think?

I always thought interests and riba or interests and usuary are 2 different things. but, when I see all the “scholars” use those terms interchangeably and say riba is interest and interest is riba! How can they all get it wrong?!!!

Please apply reason in the light of message of the glorious Koran. Don't get influenced by what the majority says. On the judgment day all believers will be judged as per the message of the glorious Koran and not the whims or teachings of the majority.

Are interest bearing student loans from private loan agencies of usa on co-signer base permissible for Muslims to persue their higher studies in USA who go from their country like Pakistan in order to get better future ??? Plz guide

When a student takes an interest bearing loan, he is not consuming RIBA even if the interest rate is very high. It is the lender who is guilty of RIBA if the interest rate is exorbitant. So, a student can take a loan for studies.
