They’ve claimed to had nerfed iron giant but his moves feel like they do more damage each patch 💀

Weight alone puts giant in a category of his own. Mid-low level players haven't perfected juggling combos or strong confirms. And when you have a %200 iron giant running around with the last stand perk on just putting in the damage. Pair him with a strong confirmer and it makes him feel over powered.

I play Steven & he’s OP. If you build a *Roof & Wall* with Steven’s shields you can combo-trap your opponents with jab. They bounce like crazy, especially using the hit-stun perk.

Void should try out the Iron Giant, he will learn a lot more than he currently knows about using Iron Giant.

As a LVL24 Pj Finn Enthusiast, ima actually have to agree with the Finn placement. Finn is such a combo-heavy character that if the other opponent just stops your combo, your basically useless. Though I disagree with the Jake placement due to his stretchy punch basically stopping any team combo

Great list. I personally feel like T&J are better than Bugs since they have less cooldown moves, can keep out characters better with slingshot, and spend less time setting up projectiles.

Iron giant is a newb killer and punisher. If you are new, you die to him from making mistakes. If you are good, you get punished for getting greedy. He is combo food and has one true opportunity to really pressure you for a few seconds on cooldown

I feel like Velma's problem is she's just too easy to do really busted stuff with. Like everything she has just does it automatically. IG is kinda in a similar spot. I feel like unless you make them straight up bad, they're just going to be busted. Probably need to redesign some things completely

I was at 400k in the leaderboards for 1v1s after playing for like almost 2 hours i was at 60k and my win rate was basically at a 100% win rating lol. definitely wild since i really have only played 2v2. iron giant seems less janky/glitchy but I just think people don’t know the match up because when they do I was stuck in an infinite. plus iron giants seem super rare from what i can tell

I think if they fix IG hitboxes he will be balanced, but like the down special having a 10 mile radius in a sphere around him and his up air, even just being one fist having a 10 ft high, 20 ft wide hitbox is nuts. Also his grab comes out way too fast, it's like just as fast as jake and taz's eat, but with wayyyyy more safe because of the range. Also that side rocket boot has an absolutely massive hitbox too.

Reindog seems way stronger than his placement if we’re being honest I started playing him a few days ago and it’s easy getting wins, his only issue is his spiking is difficult, but playing keep away and zoning out is so easy, completely shutting down Batman’s batarang and grapple And I’ve played both level 3 Finn’s or level 32 superman and I don’t really have too much difficult when I’m playing reindog, his dot damage is crazy and again playing keep away is so easy and fun ;) Definitely not top tier or broken but maybe a tier up, higher than Batman maybe Just my thoughts as an average reindog main I’m not a pro player just a dude who plays after work

I was calling Morty being B tier if s+ wasn't a thing. but he is probably A tier imo some of his attacks are very slow and have tons of output delay. The initial speed and range of his attacks good however.

Bugs is in the SS?

I just started playing this game 4 days ago and already have shaggy up to level 23. I’m almost averaging about 2 ring outs a game, 327 matches played 547 ring outs 89,000 damage. All of this just with shaggy.

Whats morty’s passive?

Garnet looks so interesting but I play Tom, Jake, and Morty (all lvl 15+) and Garnet just only has 2 good moves it feels like, with 0 combo potential. Unlucky, but cool to think about for the future when she gets help

Why are tanks like superman and superwoman having dodges and frame data that mimics assassins

I main Steven, and I feel as though he could use a buff since he only has two or three moves that consistently ring out. Maybe have some of his wind up moves reduced in the time that you have to hold them for. I also wish Steven was his older self just so that he could have slightly longer reach, because that's something he is definitely lacking. I feel as though wonder woman never dies, I got three stocked when my brother was playing against me with her, and then we switched characters and the exact opposite happened. She, like you said has good hitboxes, and doesnt die early, EVER.

I Lost to Bugs twice even tho I played better than my opponent so I started playing him and I am currently like 30:0 Its very fun to play broken characters

They could of added 3 perks (and adjust one) in this game to fix all these issues “low skills” complain about. Status resistance (1 stack -30%, 2 stack -50%) Losing faith (when you dodge an opponents attack you can add 10% to their cooldown, 2 stack 15%) Crushing miss (after dodging an attack you add 4-6 added frames of whiff recovery) Lastly, sturdy dodger should be any dodge of projectile gives you armor for 2 seconds, 2 stack 5 seconds. (Hard counter Batman, bug, Velma, rein, tom frame traps) Velma should still have the 75% for 8 seconds but make it to where her cooldown for the move doesn’t start until after the big head (duration of move) is up. Iron giant should have bolts reworked (former top 300). Make the duration 2 seconds but have the cooldown cut in half. So that way he’s not like a walking invulnerable tank for 8 seconds against the noobs who don’t know better, and you can still use it in high elo to escape combos or use for getting back to ground or to whiff purposely and bolts to punish their punish. This way bolts is still good, but not inherently broken against players who don’t know the matchup and complain. And it’ll be easier to run away from bolts for the noobs who still run away from bolts (not the correct way to play against him). These changes would have made a lot of characters fun & viable, made the perk system kept alive and not constantly getting gutted and becoming more useless after every patch. And created a perk that incentivizes skill play to counter broken team comps. Literally Velma iron giant wouldn’t be a thing that dominated if they added in the Losing Faith perk. Simply dodge her words, dodge ig, and they have added cooldown 10% time. Bugs wouldn’t be broken if you could make him have more whiff recovery frames from dodging his attack, or his projectile frame traps gone with a simple buff to sturdy dodger. Status resistance to counter the ice to beat you meta, instead of GUTTING the perk. These devs have not been able to get this game right, and it’s showing. Like NAKAT said, this will be a loop until the end of this game. Because players complain, characters and perks gets nerf, game gets boring, move onto the next meta, complain, nerf, move on, until no one’s fun and everything is boring and stale and simple with no skill play or skill gap, or matchup knowledge needed. Players drag a game down with their lack of skill, devs need to stop listening to loud mouths who really aren’t making noise in the game with their skill

What's crazy is none of this matter cause I can't play one game without being orange 2 bar connection.. been like this for over a week now.. every single game pmuch.. I live in colorado and have anywhere from 1000 internet speed. The first week or 2 I played the game and had no lag, this game is unplayable now.. how are other people playing without lag?

Iron giant is a noob crusher in 2's, he steam rolls casuals but doesn't perform well against a team that knows what they're doing. If you are losing to iron giant in 1s trust me it's not because he's a strong character, its 100% a skill issue.

After fighting some really good assassins last night, I agree with the devs that we shouldn't overbuff them lmao. Those characters can be so insane when piloted by good players, and still have good "fuck neutral" tools too.

Honestly jake should be put up in S tier cause his reach and attack moves are really fast and he’s a bruiser so he takes a lot of damage and deals a lot of damage.

idk how to play against iron giant at all. He gets that big aoe around him where u cant hit him, all of his attacks hit like 5 times and take up the entire stage in doubles

i would put shaggy between A+ and S heavy hitting moves with armour can do so much to the opposing team and the amp his sandwich gets when he is in rage can be annoying to deal with

My problems with Harley is that it often feels like her hitboxes have low priority so trying to get hits and conversions in scrambles just feels like a losing fight, often getting out traded and dying early. And with how good dodging is, getting a clean hit is also seldom in a game plan. So between getting boxed out by so many characters with better hit boxes, her kill potential being circumstancial/being worse than a lot of characters, and not being a great (she's not terrible at it tho) scrambler, It makes her pretty mid compared to the cast honestly. That's just my two cents though.

the jake downplaying goes crazy in peoples tier lists i understand the king of mid at the top of a but jake is no where near that bad same with harley really good characters getting hard downplayed
