I like Ryan but have found Max Velocity to be quicker, stream more often, and be way more engaging with his audience. My entire family was watching Ryan but all have switched to Max. I do keep Ryans open in the back ground and will tab back and forth once in a while.
ryan hall is phenomenal, last week during the sever weather i wasnt even in the line of damage and i watched his stream for a whole night just because of how good his coverage is.
I was so touched that your dad is your personal weatherman specializing in exactly where you are no matter where you go. Will strive to do the same for my son as he starts his career into this crazy world.
I listen to Ryan Hall as well when he's on. Great way to stay alert on what's going on. I like how he explains the build up as well. Glad you and Opie found some shelter in the storm.
I really feel for the people affected by all of the severe weather this spring. The light show mother nature provided through your windshield was spectacular.
I say that Pops needs to be your weather man spotter, but when Pops is taking a day off, it’s for sure Ryan Hall he is the man, great video, smart man to know you are going to make it rather than hoping you’ll make it. Georgia boy here, keep on trucking.
Yes sir Mr kurt i have been relying on Ryan Hall and his weather forecast for some time now. The guy knows his stuff thats for sure. Roll easy roll safe 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
"If you know me and have a dog, don't just honk and drive away, you better stop so I can pet the dog." My thoughts exactly. My heart is all about the dogs. Safe travels to you and Opie. And, don't forget, Jesus is about to call his people home.
With you being there with Opie, he probably feels safe, just being with you, he knows you won’t let anything happen to him, just like he won’t let anything happen to you! Stay safe and dry!
Back in highschool here in Florida I had a science teacher that was a surfer. He talked about him and friends taking his brand new van out to surf in the hurricane waves. They would surf until it got close, take shelter in his van, after the main part passed they would surf the tail end of the storm. Well he said they took shelter in his van and he said there was water coming in from everywhere. A couple days later he took his van to the dealer telling them it leaked water, they couldn't get it to leak at all. He started talking about the millibars, pressure from the storm forced the water through all kinds of seals. Maybe that's what's going on with your truck.
Appreciate all your videos watching all over and over. Always waiting for the next one to come out I deliver to waterloo des moines Ankeney all over iowa ...john deere...sure hope to shake ur hand.. Drive safe..
Wow i drive OTR motorcoaches heading to Florida returning a hot bus back to the yard AC compressor locked up. Was passing through St. Louis into Illinois during this same weather complex and was listening to “Ryan Hall Y’all” the entire time as well 😅 every time i passed a city or a town a tornado dropped behind me until i got to Paducah, Kentucky then the tornado sirens went off just then Ryan Hall alerted there was a tornado getting ready to drop in my location talking about terrified! I love him! he’s the real deal!
Please be careful out there. I live in Wisconsin and we been get our share of severe weather . We had a tornado 7 miles from us here in Fond Du Lac, WI not long ago. Also saw one off in a distance on my way home from Oshkosh I was on I -41 southbound. It get scary here when the tornado siren goes off. I am 3 blocks from the nearest shelter. Take Care My Friend, Cassie😊
I have been a Y'all watcher for a long time; I agree with you. He is great. I thoroughly enjoy your channel. As a person who loves to drive and is also not a big "crowd" person, I enjoy the solitude of the road as you do. Beyond shared attributes, your personality makes my morning coffee watching the channel totally enjoyable.
When I was driving I always had problems with the air con drying my eyes out, even with glasses on. Soon as I stopped driving long distance dry eyes werent a problem anymore. Great vids by the way, thanks for uploading.
Kurt the tear duct thing is a snap. Mine took about 15 seconds and it sure worked for me. You need to listen to mom. Don’t you know by now mom’s are ALWAYS right. Stay safe and havagudun and you too Opie.
I watch Ryan Hall... yep.. he is really good. Thanks for sharing this scary weather. I am down in Texas and have been trying to get back to Iowa for several days...at my age I don't mind hanging out somewhere to let storms pass. Took me a while to figure out that it is really a good thing to do that... something to say about the wisdom of living a long time ! Having things like wi-fi and Weather Channel are a marvelous invention .. compared to years ago, traveling today is so much easier and safer . Happy to see you and Opie are safe !
Back in early June I was on 163 just west of Oskaloosa when the phone went nuts, saying there was a tornado warning in my vicinity. All I saw was a gray wall slam into the back of the truck. A broken mirror and work light in back later.
Hi Kurt,my wife's father hand both tear ducts opened by his eye doctor it was with great success. My wife also had this done it to was a success both by different Doctors and clinic's.
Nice video, Kurt. Glad to see you didn't get blasted by storms, though the one shot of the heavy rains was interesting. Thanks for sharing the great content, god bless you, sir, and please keep it safe and between the ditches.
Kurt, the only eye surgery I ever had was cataract with a lens transplant both eye 3 weeks apart. No longer have to wear glasses for long distance. Sorry I can"t help you with tear duct surgery.
Hello Kurt here a new subscriber from The Netherlands - Europe. First of all I love your RU-vid Chanel and the way you present yourself by doing your job. Assume 😂😂😂!! About your dry eyes I use the commercial product from Bausch + Lomb called Vidisic Carbogel E.D.O. This is not an medicine this is a general used eye gel. Keeps them moist and hopefully for you in good condition. Take care and keep up doing good things 👍🏼😁
I have the same problem you are having. DRY EYES. I have had expensive drops and cheap drops. Cheap drops do the same thing. You will have to get used to keeping a bottle of drops in your pocket or around most of the time. On the otherside, when I ride my bike my right eye stays full of water. I have also found that reglular saline water used for contacts do as well as cheap eye drops that are not cheap. $15 on the average for drops. Regular stab you in the back. One thing you may want to try and seems to work, is gel drops when you go to sleep but not while you are awake. When you are awake the gel drops blur you imagine. Those of us with light color eyes suffer with dryness. Welcome to the club. It don't go away.
I did the same thing a couple weeks ago going down through Ks and Ok. Had radar up on my phone and kept one eye on road and one on radar. Would stop and let storm pass then drive until next storm hit. I went through Marietta about 6 hours after tornado hit that town, it was a mess. And yes, Ryan Hall is a weather rockstar.
Silicon Duct plugs. Didn’t help me much. Worth a try. Easy to install. Doc puts them in. Sometimes they come out on their own. Just saw my eye doctor last week. He told me about this foam stuff to massage into the lid lash area. It helps kill overgrowth of eyelash mites and moisturizes. I just bought some. Feels good. It’s based on oakra called zocular, which is less harsh less inflamatory than tea tree soap or baby wash that we all used for years for eyelash cleansing. A soothing spray I have used for years now and is very refreshing is lid and lash cleanser by Eye Love. It is made of Hyaluronic acid. I grab for that during the day when my eyes are unhappy. I use the zocular morning and night. Only had the zocular 5 days. So far it feels good. Good luck.
I notice your new glasses have a blue tint as the camera picks them up - my new glasses have a computer adaptive tint which appears blue if you relfect a regular light onto them which eases the eye strain from the computer screen.
Thanks for the video. Maybe this will help buy you something to drink. I’ve been watching your videos and enjoying them. Be careful out there. I’m from the Kansas City area but live in Texas now. I recognize that weather and see what you go through.
Ryan Hall is great. I think when there are multiple tornadoes warnings in different states he focuses on the most dangerous ones. He usually has Andy Hill or another meteorologist there who keeps an eye on some of the storms he is not focused on.
First time watcher... enjoyed it. Like the other commenters said Ryan Hall is top notch specially if you're on the road I go from NW Indiana to Western North Carolina usually every 2 wks and always got him playing he actually had a guy that works for the weather channel comment about how impressive he is and more accurate than the weather channel is. Until next vid keep it between the lines bro be safe
my grama and grampa used to go out on the car port and watch the storms. I joined them once. it was wild. Storming on the one side of the road and not on our side. it was odd but cool.
Silicon is a wonderful product, I had to seal all of my cab lights a few years back. I listen to Ryan Hall too, he does a great job. I like living on the edge with storms, I'm a storm rider I guess. LoL my mom knows this that's why she calls me warning me about something ahead! Thanks mom as Wade shifts another gear! 😅 I think storm chasing would be a fun job!
Found your channel today I'm loving your videos and here in Alabama James "the man" Spann is our go to guy for the weather if he gets on TV with his jacket off and sleeves rolled up you know it's serious
HELLO KURT NEW LOOK 👀 SHARP !! COOL VIDEO MAN IM IN FL WE ARE GETTING HAMMERED WIND RAIN LIGHTING THUNDER ITS DANG SCARY AT TIMES !! OPIE LOOKS GREAT HE GETTING AROUND SO GOOD 🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾BE BLESSED STAY SAFE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🚂🚂🚂🙏
Yep on the tear duct plugs. Little rubber cork that they plug the tear duct so you eyes don't drain the tears off as much. It's painless and actually works pretty well.Kinda reminds you of putting a plug in a tire. 🤣😂
I don't know if you use it or not but I used to use RainX on all my windows and mirrors, even headlights. sure makes a difference.has to be a real downpour before you have to turn on your wipers.really keeps your mirrors clear also.driving in tornado warnings not too smart. did it a couple of times.not anymore,I said
Ryan Hall is awesome! Great weather man..he knows his stuff! I use Systane Complete otc eye drops. They work great for me. Great lubricating eye drops! I would try those first before prescription drops. I can not imagine the eye strain, especially at night and when it's raining
I use Systane too and find that it helps some. One or two drops three times a day. But as the day progresses vision gets more and more blurry. Mine started about a year ago, I am in upper 70s. I spend quite a bit of time in front of the computer and that seems to be the worst. My eye doctor hasn't said anything about doing something to the tear ducts. Will be interested in what others have to offer on this subject. Thanks for mentioning it and hope you get some relief.
Ive only been watching your videos for the last week or so, and I really enjoy your content, ive been watching it in most of my free time instead of other tv options. Keep rolling sir!
We lived in Ottawa,Ks for 8 yrs. (south of Olathe by 30 minutes) only experienced 1 tornado and 1 earthquake!!! the Tornado was in Lawrence:) . We currently live in Marshlltown. My husband drives for Crawford out of DSM
Having lived most of my life outside Chicago. Thunderstorms high winds flooding and tornadoes were a way of life . Moved 9 years ago to Grand Junction Colorado and tornadoes and a big heavy thunderstorm are very rare out here . Do not miss the sirens going off day or night and going down in our basement . Safe travels to you Kirk and Opie.
I raised two girls and you can imagine that when both were teenagers there were times the melodrama was knee deep in our house. Things would go wrong, a paper wouldn’t get finished in time causing war to break out. 🙄 In any case, I always tried to defuse the situation by saying “settle down, the sun is still gonna come up tomorrow.”
The overhead pipe makes a perfect truck wash in the parking lot. My dog is petrified of thunder I put a thunder coat on her and she stays glued to me until the storm is over. She is a little one so easy to look after her.
New subscriber here (on RU-vid and instagram). Just found your channel! Checked out your webpage and your dad is a very talented webmaster! Love the views on the road as you’re traveling and how down to earth you are!
Hey Kurt funny story our fire department is in partnership with Ryan hall. We have a group of 11 firefighters specially trained as weather spotters and disaster response technicians
SCHIMDT. 🙏🏻 That all you truckers B SAFE out there driving for the 🇺🇲 so that we can have our needs. I like to see a electric 🚛 drive successfully through a 🌀🌪️⛈️. 😀😃😄😁😆😅😂. Safe Travels 🐕🦺 🚛💨💨💨💨💨

I have a very close friend that had the tear ducts done due to dry eyes. Now he's constantly wiping his eyes cause it looks like he's crying constantly. I would not recommend having it done. I've been using the same drops you are for 6 years and they work good enough.
