“Squirrelflight is only tangentially related to breaking the warrior code” FALSE, she didn’t sit vigil when she became a warrior, obviously a DISGUSTING and IRREDEEMABLE crime
@@zealouslyCantankerous Technically, Squirrelflight didn't even break the Code then. She just adopted some kids that happened to be her medicine cat sister's. There's no rule that you've gotta snitch 😉
I feel bad for Shadowpaw. He feels like everything rests on his shoulders, and Tigerheartstar as well as the mysterious tom speaking to him encourages that idea. Also about Bramblestar, the only cats who felt like something was wrong with him throughout the book are Shadowpaw, who has weird powers, and Rootpaw, interestingly. Rootpaw is the son of Tree, who can speak to ghosts. And he feels weird around a cat who’s most likely possessed by a dead cat. I’m not quite sure what to make of that, but it’s there.
What bothers me about Shadowpaw is that though a lot rests on him he seems not to want or realize his responsibility I feel likes he's weak and hated reading from his POV I love Rootpaw he's my favorite and I like Bristlepaw as well it's intresting to see the Erins explore a character that's just average stick in the middle of this mess like Gray Wing which is something they haven't done in ages
Cᴜʀsᴇᴅ I think Scourge did go to an afterlife: his own. There’s nothing to suggest he *died* died after Firestar killed him. Although I posted the comment as kind-of a joke, I’d have to agree with you. Scourge would be better than Ashfur.
It’s the same cat. the warriors website has a question where it says how does bramblestars imposter tell shadowsight to help bramblestar. And that means it’s the same cat
Personally I’m TIRED of that stinky boy, but it would be interesting to have an old character in the spotlight rather than being forced to get to know/care about a new character. I loved VoS but could not tell you anything about the litters after the great battle. I don’t know anything about Snowtuft. I’m tired of new characters because I don’t know much about the ones in the clan
Noah & Atlas Oh yeah, Snowtuft. He’s got barely any depth, this would be a perfect opportunity to bring him into the limelight and give him some personality. Probably won’t happen, but he could’ve been a good villain
Hmm, that does have potential. I'd like it if he'd been possessing Onestar before that. It would make Onestar's personality shift from Firestar's friend to jerk of the lake make more sense.
@@CatoftheStorm I actually like this idea. Cause then it would show that this is something that can actually happen when leaders lose a life. And it's just not pulled out of the blue.
I think Ashfur wants to punish the codebreakers not because he cares about the warrior code all of a sudden, but because he knows that most of the living codebreakers are cats that are important to Squirrelflight. And as usual, all he cares about is hurting her.
You make a lot of good points. I think it would make sense for a sub section of StarClan to be this ghost cult thing. Also, I really think that it’s definitely Ashfur
*24 Hours Of Talking* Yellowfang: I don't even care I loved too much too. :3 Ashfur: Oh Thanks Baby Yellowfang: *Eyelashes* Raggedstar: *Glares At Ashfur*
*SPOILERS AHEAD !* Not gonna lie I legit got chills and was scared somewhat at the end of the book when Bramblestar was begging Rootpaw to help him ;w;
I'd like for it to be Thisleclaw, as he and still is somewhat of a controversal character (cough spottedleafs heart), I honestly think its Ashfur too, the signs are just so... obvious, but I would LOVE it to basically trick us into thinking its Ashfur and have someone new or a group of cats introduced as the villan.
“‘what’s that?’ you’re wondering because you don’t read warrior cats and you just watch moonkitti?” is always an extremely relatable (and helpful) segment
1) I would LOVE to see Sol back in the books. Though "short-lived" characters (Needletail, Darktail, Jake, etc...) are most often the better-written ones, I feel like Sol's story hasn't been completely finished. He just kinda upped and left after messing up ShadowClan and not getting killed by Hollyleaf. Perhaps maybe not in the main series, but perhaps a novella could bring his story to a proper end. I mean he DID promise to take revenge one day... 2) Ashfur? More like *ASSFUR*
I know! He didn't really get a good finishing arc. I wouldn't mind a recurring outside character who has a different perspective about StarClan than the other cats. A slightly antagonistic cat but one who doesn't exactly harm anyone. But I don't think Sol is the possessor. He didn't really care about the Code. As an aside, do you think Sol could have made a good mediator? We have Tree who doesn't really fit in and refuses to do normal warrior stuff but for some reason all the cat's like him. After reading SkyClan's manga I think Sol had potential to be that, but no one had thought of mediator so he didn't get a place in the Clans like he wanted.
@@CatoftheStorm Sol might fit the bill to become a mediator, but I feel like he would always try to make things turn out in his favor. He thinks mostly for himself and not the clans, he's far too proud to do that. Which is why I like him as a character so much. He knows he can't really fight, so he plays mindgames instead, making it incredibly interesting to read about. I also don't think that Sol is the one who possessed Bramblestar and at this point it's pretty obvious that Ashfur is the possible possessor, or at least he's here to mess with stuff. Though it would be pretty cool if Sol made a comeback AS A SPIRIT and started messing with stuff by straight up haunting cats. Especially with characters like Tree who can see ghosts that haven't moved on yet, and the fact that StarClan peaced out for now, this could turn into something extremely dangerous. What if Tree goes insane? Or suddenly starts doing the same tricks Sol used to because Sol's spirit is "haunting" him? Or if Rootpaw inherited his dad's powers and suddenly became Sol's puppet? THAT would be something I'd love to read about!
Tree being possessed by Sol would be pretty cool to read about. I am surprised Tree hasn't gone crazy yet because of his unusual gift. Or that the dead cats don't haunt him more, insisting he talk to their loved ones for them. As far as we know he doesn't have powers to control spirits, just to see them. He seems like he would be vulnerable.
Lol watching the imposter theory videos after reading almost all the books in TBC is actually pretty interesting. I actually think that a subsection of Starclan being the villains is a really good idea and I kinda wish the writers had gone with that one, it would have made Starclan seem less perfect and united all the time and it would be a huge twist to have Starclan be the villains lol.
Several months ago, I had heard something about one of the warrior cats being "possessed by a demon." Naturally, I was like, "Say WHAT?!" and went to go look up what happened. I read about the mysterious cat possessing Bramblestar and was like, "So, uh, that sounds like it could be Ashfur." I have not read these books in a decade.
I've seen a really interesting theory that the cat (one of the cats?) is Thistleclaw, because he: - isn't a Starclan cat - is a pretty controversial character - talks really similarly about being "soft" on cats who are codebreakers and the like
I'm a bit late and said this in another comment but maybe it could be him.(or at least one of the ghosts.) Bramblestar is Tigerstar's son, Thistleclaw's apprentice. There could be the possibility that Thistleclaw could have seen the whole death scene between Firestar and Spottedleaf and mistaken her as his mate. That would kinda explain why he is trying to be close with Squirrelflight... Maybe?
*sees thumbnail* Ashfur's got the BEEEEST OF BOTH WOOOORLDS! He's taken complete total control yeah he's running the show he's got the beeeeest of both wooorlds! StarClan let him right in, now he's gonna bring about the end! And it's so much better cause you know he's got the best of both worlds!
Also in the parts were it talks about ash going onto shadow boi’s pelt it talked about how he can smell smoke and hear flames? Maybe it has something to do with the fire scene!
okay so I started watching this video last night, but I had to stop because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I haven't read the books past the second arc, but I dreamt that night that in the current arc the cats are forced to build German cars under the leadership of an unseen factory owner under threat of death. I distinctly remember thinking "No, Moonkitti, that can't be right, Ashfur can't possibly be the factory owner, he doesn't know anything about cars!"
*Me after reading Squirrelflight’s Hope being sad that Moonkitti had no idea at this point when Squirrelflight’s Hope* Also when Squirrelflight made ‘evidence’ that she was dead, the imposter was said to have been feeling real grief, and if it is Ashfur, it could be likely that he still has feelings for Squirrelflight.
It's like they realized they missed an opportunity to have an actual personnal conflict in Omen of the stars with Ashfur confronting the three, so they put him there. Would be so lame. 6:42 Thought he wanted to have Bramble caught killing Fire! "Boys will be boys" lol
I would love love love full length reviews on the warrior cats arcs from you. Your thoughts are always so interesting, and I would watch them even if it had only just a singular background with no editing lol
"Hmm... instead of logically thinking this through and doing something smart, i'm going to scare an apprentice and posses my ex-girlfriends husband for 5 minutes in order to make him call her a bee-brain one time! What a great use of my powers! This is so genius, the readers will love me!"
Whatever Continent you are is what Warrior cat you are! Africa- Ashfur Europe- Firestar Asia- Greystripe North America- Ivypool South America-Firestar Australia- Mapleshade Antarctica-Dovewing Any other little tiny island somewhere in the ocean- Jayfeather I’m Mapleshade >:3
OH MY GOD! I'm so happy that someone shares the same thoughts about Sunset that I do. I hate that book and I liked the second arc. It really did it dirty.
This was a great video, Moon! I'm really interested in seeing how this arc turns out. While I do still think it's Ashfur and share some of your concerns, I'm curious to see where this is going to go with Sutherland also working on this arc... fingers crossed!
hi moonkitti! I don't have patron -and im poor lol- but thank you so so much for drawing Shawn as a cat. My friend requested it and i just really wanted to thank you. He's wonderful UwU
My issue is yellowfang‘s mother who may or may not be brightflower. She’s apparently in the dark forest because she couldn’t forgive brokenstar for murdering her kits. Side note, STOP NAMING YOUR KITS JUNIPER! It’s a DEATH SENTENCE
2:24 You Don’t watch Warriors and Just watch Moonkitti Ahem. No Blixemi Akira Warriors map Selena ThatCashIsAss (Tom) Random stuff that pops up onto my Recommend. :)
Based on the information we’ve gotten from the Silent Thaw, I think the ‘cat’ is Brokenstar. I know, sounds crazy, but he exiles cats 👀 and gives warriors most food. BUT, no clan cat would make sense BASED ON THE FACT the nee Bramblestar had to be re told all clan traditions and how to rule the clan. Maybe Sol? Mapleshade? Idk
Personally, although I doubt it, I kinda want it to be Darktail. He may or may not be in the dark forest since A. Onestar probably bragged about Starclan to Smoky, who told Darktail about it so he could use it against them by believing in it and being able to still kinda 'live' as a ghost, or B. He saw Starclan in action via the nine lives leaders have and the prophecies and such, making Starclan's existence very hard to deny. Of course, one evil ghost can't block out all of Starclan, so, with maybe some help from the few remaining Dark Forest cats, he/they sorta whispered into the good, code following Starclan cats to rise up and sort of rebel against the current Starclan leaders, which is halted communications since they're kinda having a civil war, allowing the Darktail to slide on in a possess Bramblestar. Why would he do this though. Two reasons: He's still angry that he lost and, upon dying, he saw that these supposed pure and good, perfect code followers were being led by cats who broke the code, and few actual code breakers were being punished, so he wanted to stop the hypocrisy and conveniently destroy/take over the clans while doing so. The 'rebel' Starclan cats could also be involved with this as well, though if so, they probably don't realize the full extent of Darktail's plans and they just wanna have cats actually follow the codes and have code breakers actually get punished. I kinda came up with half of this on the spot, but ever since I've read the book, I wanted it to be Darktail. Thank you for coming to me Ted Talk.
I don't know why but I binge watch your rant/vent / information videos ever few months It's just like background noise while I draw BUT It's like good background noise. Like I found just listen to you talk all day XD I dunno. Make storytimes :)
