Is it better to do a Diploma or Degree in Nursing? (my Opinion) / does it matter where you start? 

I started my BSc when I was1 year into the service as a diploma nurse. Apparently most of colleagues who schooled in the city started their BSc during rotation so that by the time they are due for the first 3 years promotion (to SSN), they upgrade to Nursing Officer. I grabbed the opportunity and got my promotion to NO early. Time flies so fast, 3 years after, I'm getting my SNO promotion this year. Education is always the key.

In case I finish my diploma program, get a job and I top up with A degree, will I be promoted and how many years will it take you get promoted ?
