One thing that she didn't touch on was cost of living ,,, it's ridiculously high in Kelowna and I don't mean maybe ! ,,, She also states " you can hardly rent a place in either city " ,, nonsense, her purpose is to sell houses not to promote rentals. There are numerous rentals in the Kelowna / Vernon area ,, ( local media showed approx. 320 rentals available this morning ) that being said rents are exceptionally high in Kelowna.
All I know is from my experience hearing from renters looking to rent locally, it has been very difficult. The vacancy rate is very low. And yes rents are high. There may be more rentals in Kelowna than Vernon, which makes sense as it is a larger center. Pls also consider the date this video was made - although from my understanding working in the real estate business every day - rentals are still at a very low level in both cities.
I live in Kelowna. Rentals are extremely hard to get. Students are prioritized and it's pretty much impossible to find something for a single person that's actually affordable.
Just a tip. Personally, I don't want to see a lot of the presenter because my focus is on the topic This is a mistake so many make. Bring more visuals of the place you are talking about.
I really love your vlogs 😊 Really helps me to prepare before going to Vernon @Silverstar 😇 Hoping to learn from your other vlog about life/living in Vernon 😇🙏 God bless you

Sure what would you like to know? Kelowna actually had a huge fire and then two years ago there was the Westside fire between the two cities. The Kelowna fire was in 2003.
@@lihong1623 Even though there have been some fires in the past, Vernon is still an excellent investment, as the statistics show. Our prices more than double every 10 years. The city is growing, the amenities are increasing and it remains a top city for people to relocate to. I have numerous real estate investments in Vernon and truly feel it is a safe haven for my money.
Vernon. But not near the down town or anywhere near Polson park area. I lived in Vernon for a few years as far back as 1996. It's changed because of the drugs. Kelowna is worse. I live in Kelowna.
