I don’t know why so many people are forgetting Pokemon Legends Z-A. It’s a shoo-in for next direct, unless it’s actually coming to the Switch 2, which is what I’m hoping. We got a lot of Mario games last year, so I would prefer Nintendo to focus on other franchises like Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, DK, and maybe even Punch Out or Kid Icarus.
@@Demeech I just wanna say that I'm a HUGE fan of your channel and also in my opinion longer videos such as this one are better. I could literally binge watch for content for hours on end and never get board and the same goes with many other Nintendo RU-vidrs as well.
If we get a new Mario Party in this Direct, it'll set the event up pretty good for me. ;) I'm pulling for a new DK game, a revival of Rhythm Heaven, and a few more Mario remakes. I feel like 2024 will be the sequel to 2021 where it's more franchise focused titles, which I am not against.
I think that makes the most sense. Especially since Switch 2 might get leaked before its official reveal and they want to keep it a surprise. Or they could say "The successor to the Nintendo Switch will be revealed on X date" or something like that.
I also think Nintendo will continue to do more ports and remakes of their past games for the original Nintendo Switch after the Switch's successor releases.
If the Mario RPG remake sold over 9000 copies worldwide, hopefully Geno deserves a chance to be in Mario Party, Fortune Street and Mario Sports Mix. He should also deserve the same treatment as Snufkin.

the only mario& sonic game that alphadream had worked on is the 2020 one and i also think the devs in alphadream are now nintendo employees . so not much of a problem
I hope we get a Fire Emblem Awakening remaster for Nintendo Switch. It would be a nice game to cap things off for this console That game needs a remaster
I would kill for a new 2d Zelda game. Remakes are kind of cool but are not a replacement for brand new games for me. Also, even though I love Link Between World's, I don't want another Zelda game reusing a map/world. They've done it for LBW, they've done it for TOTK, I just want a brand new world with new mechanics and a completely original story.

What about... a sonic game in the style of the musou warriors games not having the frontiers abilities, at least for sonic and it being on switch 2. I mean it was said that sonic was going to be yearly.
