Thank you for this video. This topic is something I ask myself every day as a 48 year old woman with Hashimoto's and Peri-Manopause symptoms. Sometimes, I just do not know what to do. My endocrynologist is working with me to balance my blood sugar. I have seen good results doing Keto, but it is not an easy diet to follow, so I am trying to be more balanced without being extreme. Managing stress is another issue that helps a lot. :)

Menapause did make my hypothyroidism some what worse. I had to increase levothyroxine. Hot flashes were extremely bad and did get the Shingles. Currently taking Vitamin D3 and a multivitamin.

I had surgical menopause in 1999 right after i was remarried.,, Today i am age 65, i had dvts twice.,i have Fibro, I have Hypothyroidism. Arthritis.osteoporsis.i am a mess..lol..i take Armour Thyroid daily 60 mgs. My past Health was a Nightmare..i lost a 166 pounds from vsg may 21,2015. i am in pain mgmt for chronic pain. I get Migraines sometimes too. I learn a lot from gour videos.. i wished i had you for a Dr. I. Feel i get crappy medical care.

Thank you for this!!! I don’t usually comment on things … but have had to figure this out the hard way and over the last 10 yes TEN years … so am writing this to hopefully help someone else. If you start HrT and have hashimotos or low functioning thyroid make sure you take topical estrogen (not oral). Oral will make you tank out …. It was good for me as it made me learn I had Hashimotos but not a fun way to find out 😀
