I have owned a CX60 PHEV for 12 months during which my (UK) dealer has resolved door insulation, multiple recalls and software updates, albeit in just two separate days off the road. This has transformed the car from a promising, but evidently unfinished prototype with a host of minor glitches to a genuinely premium vehicle. It was evidently released too early and early adopters were used as unofficial user testers. Having previously owned Mercedes and Jaguar, I was always delighted with its value. It is just a shame that early cars delivered didn’t deliver their full promise, but with the cooperation of my dealer, it does now.
That is great to hear that your dealer was able to resolve those issues for you. Would love to try out the PHEV hear in South Africa. Here's to hopefully more happy miles in your car.
@@tyronepaulsen I have this car and much prefer the rotary dial control to a touch screen approach. It may take some getting used to but, oveall, is more predictable, precise, ... and safe!
It's bigger than Cx5 but also why would it be sad 8f 8t wasnthe same size? You have bigger cars if you need one. Just get something bigger if this is too small for you. Americans...
Hey Mr Since CX60 Dynamic prices dropped dramatically mid R600k's and some less now and Akera similar prices as well right now... What's your thoughts on both since I initially thought I'll get Akera but seeing now that prices are similar so l'm torn between the two… CX60 most of them been new or Demo… Your opinion will be appreciated
hi, honestly the CX5 Akera is a much more engaging drive while this CX60 has a lot more premium feel to it. I would say go for a test drive of both, do it back to back if possible. They are both good cars, with either one being a good option. There is a 3.3-liter CX60 available now, so try that one out too. Good luck on your decision.
