I am friends with one my exes but it took two years of not talking to get to that point. Now we’re at peace. We occasionally exchange songs & advice and talk a few times a week. We even went to a Hanson concert last month. I think it’s possible to be friends with an ex depending on the details of the break up. This ex was very sweet, caring and loyal. I was the toxic lunatic😅🥸 so grateful therapy and yoga exist btw!!🦋 But as long as they are encouraging, supportive and bring good energy to your life there’s no reason to not be friendly with them while keeping healthy boundaries. You don’t even have to call them an “ex” anymore. The world can be hard enough, having supportive and loving friends in your circle is medicine.

Mostly its the kids' parents who are divorced or separated and have to face their demons again back n forth, whether good or bad 😂. Exes have expiry date on this planet
