Is It Possible to Beat Cuphead Without Jumping? 

Shoutouts to ChickenNinja42, who beat me to this challenge (minus the bee haHAA) and is overall one of the gamers of all time. That being said, I probably won’t do his Cuplocke challenge that everyone’s been commenting about, mostly because it’s not my style (I like puzzles over raw difficulty). My boy above seems better at that sort of stuff anyway.

I remember actually getting a little bummed seeing nobody mention how cool crackshot's ex move is for movement, so to see somebody use that really neat movement tech to actually beat the game without jumping is just something else.

According to all known laws of elevation, there is no way a bee should be able to be beaten without jumping. Sample, of course, beats it anyway, because Sample doesn't care what they said was impossible 2 weeks ago.

Fun fact: Djimmi has a different death quote in his final phase if you lose to him while having the extra health he gives you “You foolish cups could not best me, even with my wishes three!”

8:10 this attack is actually modified when playing as Ms. Chalice, the heart particles above the heart cards are only present when playing as her, and basically extend their Parry Hitbox

Fun fact:for king dice you don’t need perfect timing on the cards. The reason you did parry them was because of the heart effects that were recently added to make it possible for chalice

8:07 you don't really need perfect timing, I'm pretty sure they changed it so that the heart cards have small hearts above them that are meant to be parried by ms.chalice.

I was so convinced the bee and dragon would be flat out impossible, I can't believe you actually pulled it off.

It is so cool to see someone like this complete something I could only dream about.

Sample: I'll tell you now, there's no WAY the bee fight is doable, I just know thought of it. Also Sample, 2 weeks later: Oh. Oh they made the joke already.

The end where he just says "fuck it, I'm doing the easy strat" is something I feel all too well, Borderlands I'm looking at you

H-H-Holy guacamole! I honestly thought that this challenge would break you due to its potential impossibilty, but... You did it! Congratulations! What you just did is a superhuman feat and I'm very proud of you. Keep up the good work. By the way, Miss Chalice's third Super Art actually spawns a spear that you can parry dash off of.

Great job! Fun Fact: In the flower fight you could've used Super II on Cuphead which gives just enought hight to propell yourself onto the platform. Another Fun Fact: In the toads fight with Super II on Cuphead and Coffee that charges your cards automatically you could've hit the lever though this defeats the "No Parry" rule, so I understand why you didn't do it. Another Another Fun Fact: The cards of Mr. King Dice grew extra hearts so that Ms. Chalice can parry them since she can't parry vertically like Cuphead. Another Another Another Fun Fact: The Djimmi double hearts can't be used to score A tier on bosses and with the Double Heart charm there's 9HP instead of 10HP since there's a 1 digit max. If you want another Cuphead challenge try the "No Shooting" one, it's very tough :)

I love these videos because they give me a feeling of myself wanting to do it, and it’s HARD.

I genuinely didn't think this was possible. It's incredible what can be done with some grit and determination (And a loooooot of time and patience) 12/10 Would watch while waiting for my coffee to refill my cards up again cause seriously you weren't kidding this takes a long time like holy crap... again.

I always expect at the very least one place where you have to say "yeah no, sadly not possible, add it to the counter"... but it just doesn't happen. Super impressive!

As someone who has been here since the first Kirby TAS video, it's so amazing to see how quickly your channel has grown.

This Kirby game looks funny, hal clearly took some creative liberties with the design

As mentioned in chickeninja's strategy, you completely forget about the cursed relic which whould have given you both coffee and smoke bomb for Cuphead which would have made it easier using his super art 2. Still, it's truly incredible you have managed to beat it only using the crackshot with Chalice.

I feel this channel is going places, the videos have insane quality and are really entertaining to watch! Keep it up!

Sample, since you beat Rumor Honeybottoms before ChickenNinja42, he did a Cuplocke challenge to surpass you, so that means you must beat the game with peashooter only, no EX, no super, no coins, must complete a boss first try, no taking damage, and if you take damage you must restart the run.

What an amazing feat! I wish I had been able to keep watching your videos sooner! I only avoided some of your most recent ones for spoiler reasons (playing Hollow Knight and planning on getting Cuphead DLC), but I'm glad to see that you're still doing great things!

Hey Sample, good job with beating all of Cuphead without jumping! I have to admit, after watching your video of the DLC and this one, I actually wanted to give this challenge a try myself. It was definitely hard with some bosses, especially Grim Matchstick (the dragon) and Rumor Honeybottoms (the bee), which took me about a day and a half to do, but I was able to actually beat all the bosses without jumping. Great job on both videos, and thanks for convincing me to add & complete another challenge run to my Cuphead list.☕🎲🧂🥧

The only downside to watching all of your videos as they come out is that i don't have a backlog of your videos to go through, so I'm always waiting patiently for the next one. I cant imagine how long you must spend on creating each one of these videos.

Honestly, my favorite thing about this series is getting to watch someone who parries too LITTLE play cuphead, as opposed to my "OOOH! Something pink! Let me run over to parry it and get hit by something else in the process!" playing style.

It’s cool that they modified the king dice fight when using chalice. Making little pink hearts float above the cards so the dash parry still works.

So this RU-vidr named Chickeninja42 was proud, impressed, and a bit upset that you completed rumor honeybottoms and he wasn’t able to and had to do it in simple mod, so he challenged you to do the cuplocke which means, you can only do the peashooter, only expert mode, no super arts, no charms, no coins, no ex moves, and no damage. So if you take any damage you have to restart ur run

Theoretically this could all be possible on a new save, but here's the catch: using Ms. Chalice really helps, but in order to unlock her you need to complete one of the mausoleums which require you to parry in order to beat it. So to whilst you beat every level without jumping you didn't beat the game without jumping.
