Nvidia (NVDA) is trading lower on Friday after experiencing a run the previous week. Some on Wall Street have begun to question whether the stock can continue its historic rally. Meanwhile, Microsoft (MSFT) has reclaimed its title as the most valuable US company in market capitalization.
Spear Invest Founder and CIO Ivana Delevska joins Market Domination Overtime to give insight into the performance of the Big Tech stocks and explain what investors should consider for their portfolios.
"We think that mega-caps drove the first leg of this upturn this year. And as we get into the second half, we think the upturn will broaden to mid-cap stocks. So that's where we are really looking most for opportunities. We still like Nvidia. We still see a lot of upside, but we don't think it's going to be as outsized of a performer compared to the rest of our portfolio," Delevska explains.
She adds that cybersecurity is a "particularly exciting" sector because the fundamentals are improving "by the day." Demand is high given the volume of cyber attacks affecting large companies on a daily basis, Delevska notes.

Microstrategy CEO bought $155million worth of bitcoin, so yes BUY! And the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Nvidia dipped to 762 (pre-split price) before Q1 earnings were announced and promptly shot upwards again once it was. The stock has been drifting down again ahead of the Annual Shareholders Meeting on Jun26th. I've just sold $10K out of an emerging markets fund to buy more Nvidia on 24th or 25th. It's a bet that there will more good news coming out of the meeting. I could be wrong of course, but it's a bet I'm more than willing to take.

You need to be dollar cost averaging either way. By selling NVDA at this point you’re only shooting your self in the foot. It is natural time for it to dip as it is currently doing after having seen its unprecedented climb. It only means those who had shares pre-split are the ones selling. Now that means a cheaper buy-in for retail investors to catapult the stock back in good shape before the much anticipated Q3 earnings report in August. In other words, this stock is a buy & hold in my opinion

as a beginner investor I learnt that FOMO is your worse enemy. No matter how hot a stock is running... there will be lows, probably just out of people who simply wants to cash in, so there's never any rush to buy at the best on the market. set your limit accordingly to a reasonable PE, wait some time and you're gonna get it.

You have to ask yourself, do you see Artificial Intelligence playing a bigger role YoY or not? From my experience, companies are only beginning to leverage AI while some haven’t even begun. We are still only in the beginning stages of the AI Revolution and Nvidia will continue to play a huge role.
