What to expect from Nvidia's shareholder meeting

After hitting record highs, Nvidia (NVDA) is on track for its third consecutive session of losses. Harvest Portfolio Management Co-CIO and Nvidia shareholder Paul Meeks joins Catalysts to discuss the stock's movement and Nvidia's upcoming shareholder meeting.
Meeks expects Wednesday's meeting to "make investors feel comfortable that there is a long runway yet," as the company touts its AI initiatives. He believes that CEO Jensen Huan's remarks will cause the stock to rebound from its period of declines.
"I think you must believe that the company will continue to upside numbers. I mean, they have scorched the quarterly numbers for about, as you know, a year and a half ever since the advent in November of '22 of ChatGPT, and I think you can probably expect more of the same," Meeks adds. He expects Nvidia to continue to push the narrative that the AI chip boom will last longer than expected, allowing them to continue to beat earnings estimates.

The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. Thank you for your videos mate.. Predicting< a reversal of a trend is risky, and even worse, I believe there is more to this market than we understand currently. When people are losing, they don't aim to increase their average, but that can only change if you have a personal trade guide and signal provider like that of Whitney Eston which has made me almost 11.5 on a 3.7 btc Trade capital over the last few weeks. Make the wise decision. Markets fluctuate in cycles that can last anywhere from a few days to several years. In the case of B -TC, it's difficult to make a bullish case simply from looking at the charts....

@@o__sama You have to understand that CSCO was very slow on the role of AI in the networking infrastructure as well as become too comfortable with thinking their hardware was unbeatable. This allowed companies to come in behind them and take major market share. That is why they got burned. Right now nothing is particularly close to NVDA chipsets. Eventually they will face stiff competition, but for the short term they will continue to grow.... recent pullback excepted. As with any sector stock you may be invested in, pay attention to what the competition is doing and make moves accordingly.

It's not too expensive. Look at the forward p/e and compare it with earnings and FCF. Buy as much as you can. Hold for at least 3 years. You will be glad you did

@@Koi-addict33 The problem is their margins & revenue are expected to fall, so PE will go higher, it is just a spike in earnings. and AI applications are clearly not there, so earnings will fall even sooner. and market are starting to see it, hence the sell off.

What Nvidia has learned from Cisco’s debacle is the importance of protecting your moat and your industry position by making sure that your company has a solid partnerships with several major customers even if they will eventually turn as your competitors.

the story of AI: first slow, as nothing happens. then the hype train starts. all goes up. realization and correction happen. AI stocks find a balance. trade a little in that region. suddenly the AI hype starts to happen for real as companies figure out how to monetize all that stuff. what we see here is nowhere the highs of the (good) AI stocks. no need to rush but the big movements are yet to come.
