The rented sander/vacuum looks like it was worth every penny! Brilliant! The walls look pretty darned good, Steve! The light at the end of the tunnel is brighter and larger! 😊
GOOOOOOD SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE!!…Steve I feel your pain. Had a leaking pex fitting & having to Replace a 33” X 48” area of drywall. Not quite the same as your project but still a pain in the butt. Nice job btw. Have a day
Looks good Steve I seen a couple of spots but like you said you’re not a drywaller but you’re doing a really good job just a tip for you don’t use sandpaper use sanding screen and don’t press too hard and it’s definitely easier to sand using a pole sander ….. keep up the good work stay safe 🇺🇸👊🏼🔨🪚👊🏼
STEVE, this series brings to mind the movie... Karate Kid, ... Mr, Myjagie's line, wax-on !... wax-off ! For the NEXT time you finish drywall, (haha!) put some drops of food coloring in the mud to tint It, that will help you find the spots on the second and/or third coat that needs sanding. (A tip from a person that also dislikes finishing drywall !)
I subbed out to a guy who used a porter cable version and had to go back over a lot of it. They had circle doughnut marks because of the sander. They also rocked over light switches and lights as well so im confident it was the subs fault
@@GunpowderandFreedom Yes sir they did and so did I. Right now I've been digging myself out "with a lot of hard work" to get life comfortable. I sincerely appreciate you guys and frankly both programs have been inspirational. I had a lot of bad people clawing at my back I guess what we do makes good money and they hate that. Its weird. Philadelphia is a very strange place. Well now that I sound like a fruit I just wanted to say thanks to you and the family. Both programs drive me to do better.
@@DFord-rv3nz that’s good! But that’s usually how that works. People like to talk crap regardless. If you’re in a bad spot, they have something to say. If you try to better your life, they have something to say. If you’re successful, they have something to say. I’m not a fan of those people hahaha but we will be in Philly at the end of April for the supercross race!
@@GunpowderandFreedomYeah the wrong people suck in every way. No way! I haven't ridden since I was 23. I owned a 69 Harley Davidson chopper 9 feet long tire to tire. I build it with the guy I bought it from. Let me know when you guys are heading to Philly. A friend of mine owns a huge dirt bike track they rent time on the track in GA.
