QC newbie here; In my current situation with a new band I often rely on a drop like effect for that one song that needs a lower tuning or that one part where drop c becomes easier than drop d within a song. So that block for me is essential in my rig and having it in my Helix LT (poly capo), HX stomp based board (Digitech Drop) and now QC I think I have quite some experience using it. So far, while I deem the Helix one more seamless than the others, but obviously a DSP hog, between the Drop and and the QC I feel like giving the win to the QC for actually going up in pitch too (the Drop pedal just goes down unlike your Whammy) but as far as sound quality I see no significant tone or quality loss both with clean and heavy tones. I still stand by my thought that what the QC does, it does well, but still it misses a lot of stuff in the FX department that make me veer to the good ol' Helix for most of my stuff
Please, do a video comparing it to the Fractal and the Helix. Neural actually got on their "Announced devices that have not yet been released" list, a device called Drop in the pitch block, so they probably are working on that
My favorite is the Simple Pitch in the helix and Ive had all of these. The DT tracks the best but kinda screws up your tone. Their poly capo sucks in the Helix but the old simple pitch is great for drop. I really only went down a couple steps and up 1 because I tune Eb
Thanks so much! Your videos are very informative, in my quest to find a great all-in-one pedalboard. Or maybe just go back to using my current, mostly analog pedal board, with some new devices. Thanks!
