✏️ My Thoughts:
In today’s video I’m going to show you how I compare the $95 annual fee Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card against its counterpart, the $395 Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, with the single purpose of differentiating between the benefits of the two cards and ultimately conclude if it is worth it paying $300 extra for Capital One’s premiere travel card.
I'm going to compare these cards against the categories you care most about: (1) Rewards from spending on the card, (2) perks from holding the card such as travel benefits and lounge access, and (3) earning miles - how much value you should realistically expect to see from this card each year.
Picking between the two credit cards will really come down to your personal preferences and what benefits you want in your credit card. Regardless it's my goal to have made this video as helpful and informative as possible for you to help you make the best decision on each card's pro's and con's.

Looks like all you have to do is take one trip a year to take advantage of that $300 yearly travel credit and you'll be at the same annual fee of the Venture Card. I'm leaning heavily towards the X.

For years, i wanted to stay away from capital one. The last card i had with them was in 2007. Lots of things have changed. I just got approved for a savor one card and will try them out again.

Congrats on the Savor One! The Venture X and Savor One are one of the best duos out there. Why did you want to stay away from C1 before?

wondering if it is easier to get approved the reward card and then upgrade to Venture X vs getting Venture X directly.

Generally speaking since annual fee cards are a bit more to take on, it probably is easier to get approved for the the Venture Rewards, then product change to a Venture X
