I bought a 128 gig card and a deluxe system travel case today. Next is the switch it self lol. It will be my first Nintendo system and I've been gaming since the 8bit era
Well at least that was the best looking street fighter with lots of extras, character ending and most importantly no cheap AI which take the fun out of the game
@@mikeandroid3512 On my RU-vid channel, I livestreamed a video about how to turn off the input lag in Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection. You should check it out.
While I agree with anyone who says it's expensive there's also the fact that all of the games involved at their most expensive as separate games were 40$ each so I say this collection is worth it.
In my opinion, the Switch is the best version of the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Being able to take it on the go and play it anywhere is freaking sweet.
@:c bullshit comment, joy con is literally THE WORST way of playing this, best is on arcades sticks which there are none for the Switch therefore Playstation beats it in term of controls
@@RealSkyDiver2 there are multiple arcade sticks for switch. The Mayflash f300/f500 series and the 8bitdo arcade stick all work with the Nintendo Switch
Eric Cartman I just got my gf the lite and to be honest it feels much better to play as a portable than the OG. It reminds me of a psp just a bit bigger
Today I bought the last copy for sale at my local Walmart. This game had been sitting in one of those mini security cases for months, and when the price finally hit $20 I bought it without a second thought
I got this on collection on sale for $15 on the eShop. *Definitely* worth that price if you ask me. Yeah it’s not perfect, but it has every version of the arcade games, and there’s even online for some of the best ones, so I’d say it’s a good investment, even if you’ve never played any of these games before. I do find it funny that they included the original though despite it being an absolutely terrible game. (Still runs as it should though) Obviously it’s more of a novelty, but hey, ‘tis fun to have anyways lol. I do wish they would re-release Street Fighter IV and V though. If Mortal Kombat 11 can run just fine on Switch, then those two games 100% will with little to no graphical differences. I’m guessing they only haven’t placed in the effort to port those on Switch simply because they either don’t care about those games that much, or it’s because they still want to sucker people in for buying them on other consoles, I dunno. Most likely the latter though since they’ve still been sticking around and giving V some more updates every once in awhile for at least two and a half whole Mortal Kombat game cycles. Final Challengers was a really good release too, but it was way too overpriced at launch since it’s still basically just one game with all of the Street Fighter II stuff in one package and better 2D graphic options, and widescreen. Try to wait on getting Final Challengers on sale if you can, but yeah, still also worth playing. But anyways, this is a very good collection for what it is. Get it at around half off and you’ll get a lot of value out of it, much more so than the Mega Man games anyways. (Not disrespecting those though, their collections are also good too of course)
For the young gamers that never grew up o don't remember the glory days of going to an arcade and have that competative in your face action maybe they won't appreciate it but this is aim for us older gamers that remember, my favorite 2 games are Alpha 2 and 3rd strike
Rafael Gutierrez I want it because i've always wanted to play 3rd strike. I'm suspicious though because there's two different copies on Amazon one costs 50 the other 40. The one that costs 40 has NO reviews. I find it too fishy..... XD
The original Street Fighter (v1) had extremely specific and tight timings on the special moves which is why you have difficulty pulling off the moves. I actually had to watch a tutorial online that explained the exact timing you should use. Once I got used to it, I could pull them off with reasonable consistency. They also do a lot of damage in that version. Future versions of the games had different timings and a more forgiving window to register the inputs, essentially making it easier (which was definitely needed).
It looks like a good bundle but the only deal-breaker is that Street Fighter Alpha 3 is not the max version or upper version which had like 5 more playable characters and some other features
I already bought it (so I could preload it), and while I'm pleased that it seemed to unlock at midnight, I find entering the controls very difficult. Like I can do a half circle maybe 80% of the time, but I've only been able to do the dragon-punch motion a few times by semi-randomly mashing the d-pad (I cannot do it while consciously thinking about the directions I want to press). I mean, i didn't expect to be skillful, but I'm not even sure I want to play against the AI like this.
I'd wait to see how the Japanese version comes out later in the year. It's fine for what it is but arcade perfect isn't really great when final versions improve on the arcade versions. Sucks it does not have Alpha 3 Max.
Now it’s 20 bucks. It’s great !! To play be sure to hit the little rectangular button on the left top of the joycons. That’s like putting a coin to make the game work.
I'm not a big Street fighter guy but I do like buy and trying classic games. Glad you gave a solid run down of the menu games how it handles. Good shit bro
TheHayduken1 That’s why I said, what I said. The collection doesn’t excite me as much as BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. I know I’m not going to be entertain by this nostalgia trip of a game right now because I played some of the games before. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle has characters I never seen or played with before. So I want try them all. If you think it’s terrible that’s fine, but I don’t feel the same way. 🤷🏽♂️
Syuna Higher quality yet not a classic. Also too simple. Fighting games have never been that easy at least the mainstream one. Usually when you want to play a fighting game its to be competitive and to get good at it. Cross tag felt like easy mode for kids imo
I got it for $8 at best buy Great deal ever since all my games cost $50 or more .but defenelly I enjoy this game Like I did 30 yrs ago when I was a little kid
I can kick the crap out of street fighter 2 on genesis all day with no problems but this game has the difficulty cranked to the absolute max. Has anyone even finished the car?
What I need is Marvel Vs Capcom 1 and 2. I don’t think we will ever get that, since they are not even available at psn/Xbox Live/AppStore anymore, but one can dream
Really nice let's play Gabe(SF). I remember playing SF1 in the Arcades, the controls was whack n the game was super tough aswell lol but it wasn't till SF2 dropped that the fighting game craze, genre n scene exploded, awesome times n memories of the Arcade days and the SNES days which are the best days. I have two copies coming with the Switch n PS4 versions, I have mainly got this Collection for the SF2 games. Go pick this Collection up guys along side USF2 and get the full SF experience on the Nintendo Switch. 4th Edge Out.
I plan on finally.buying this one either this week or next week. So glad they went with the arcade versions. So much nostalgia. Used to play the arcade versions of street fighter 2 a lot as a kid... Well not really a lot. But whenever i was at a place that had it with enough quarters that was one of the big go to games for me.
I'm 43 yrs old. Yhis was my favorite back in the day. I laugh, how you say, this game isn't for you. Lol. I love this game. Played it everyday, all day, when I was younger.
I remember when the original Street fighter came out. It had two huge ass rubbery buttons. Like bigger than my bald up fist big.One for punch and one for kick. How hard you hit it determined the strength of your attack. Killed my hand every time I played it LOL. And it didn’t help how choppy the game was. Street fighter two was a million times better
This makes me regret getting that other Switch Street Fighter game from a few months ago. Y’know, the one that I have played so little that I can’t even remember its name? It’s some variation on Street Fighter 2... HD, maybe? I dunno. But, I wish I had bought this instead.
Whenever I try to play this game on my switch lite the free play just blinks on the screen. It just has the cpu playing each other. I can’t press anything. It’s weird.
I "discovered" dramatic coop mode is possible on alpha 3 so you can get with a buddy and beat m.bison together (During start screen hold LK MK HK + START)
they need to release a package with xmen vs street fighter, marvel vs cap, marvel vs cap 2, marvel superheroes, xmen children of the atom, xmen the side scrolling beat em up
13Gangland _ right...you getting 12 classic joints...it's the right price for me...I can't wait until they package the old arcade Vs: Marvel SuperHeroes, StreetFighter vs X-Men, Marvel vs StreetFighter...etc etc..
namreh72 That's practically $4 A GAME, an arcade perfect bundle with 4 of them being online competitive. $40 sounds very fair to me. I honestly think anything under that would be a disservice to Capcom.
namreh72 Also, if they ever bring those, they can take ALL MY MONEY!!! It's a damn shame how hard licensed games have to suffer just to get a remaster. The reason why Tmnt and Konami can never be married again.
Alpha 3's my favorite of all these. I played Alpah 3 Max on psp soooo much. Such good memories. I like it better than third strike only because it has more of my favorite fighters.
The Boss “street fighter 2 the final challengers” doesn’t come with the street fighter collection. It’s a exclusive switch game that you gotta check out if you like street fighter
Tanner Wharton oh that’s right. My bad I confused “new challengers” with “final challengers”. I already did buy final challengers which was great but I personally enjoy 3rd strike alot more. I think I might still get this anniversary title since it also has other sf titles as well
Wow your audiance is pretty strange. 40$ 12 great games. And most say no its not worth it.crazy. Can't relate. They just need to fix the sound in handheld mode.
I pre purchased thinking they were console ports lol i was sadly mistaken this morning with a shit load of characters missing and game different game modes. I loved alpha 2 on my playstation this was no where near the same experience to many modes were missing.
@@SuperPeterok yeah its digital but be warned its a little hard to play with the controls on the switch lite but a little add on controller would make it a 9 out of 10
