nothing can outshine tarkov. it looks fun, i'll give it a shot but no game keeps me coming back. TEMU TARKOV aka arena infinite is an imitation, which is ok because if they can optimize something i love and make it work better than so be it- but its soulless. It has no real story or lore, any feeling, its a mindless extract looter shooter; thats OK but the fact it waters down some of the hardcore elements makes me feel as if this is for the casual player and for the kiddos. No game developer in their right mind would ever produce a game so punishing and difficult as tarkov, which is why we play. When Tarkov's single player RPG story is finished, it might be the best game ever released
It depends, statistically they will outshine Tarkov probably, but I agree Tarkov has this unique vibe. That’s why Tarkov became popular in a first place.
@10:18 "tarkov is C# and arena is C++" just to let your know that C# is c++ but object oriented, you code it the same way (kind of) in college i learned C++ and than coded C# with that knowledge. its basicly the same.
@@wcftstudio its not about the code language, its about the game engine, they are different in many ways, you cant just port the game to a different engine, the lighting/effects/shaders are done in a different way. every game engine uses its system to calculate and operate thing. as for codding it is no problem. its more how it renders things. even the UI is designed in a different way. to summarise, its the visual part of the game thats hard to port, not the coding. not sure if my explanation is clear but did my best with simple non-technical words. Hey but dont get me wrong your video is on point, just wanted you to know about that detail.
@@molth0r Yeah, I understand. You're good, I just think that even if they stole something, they've made some work for it. And, well, the AK-47 for example is a quite popular gun, considering China and Russia are friends they can sell it to each other easily, so they could have gotten this gun and scanned it or done research for the model. Tarkov isn't the only game with this weapon. About other things, I don't really care.
Arena is more casual so that’s why I don’t care about micro transactions, it was expected from Tencent, but it wasn’t expected from BSG, as well as the Unheard Edition.
@wcftstudio I have some reserves about it. I mean, when I first saw it, it did look great. But after hearing those 2 things, I backed off heavily. I'm waiting more for grey zone to show me what direction it's going. And a beautiful light
Haven’t met any cheater yet. They have a big budget and I think they will improve the anti-cheat. From what I know now, cheaters are banned almost immediately; and those who don’t immediately pay crazy money for a cheat from $1000 - that’s what I heard. But we'll see after the release. I think they are now seeing how people bypass anti-cheat in closed beta. What will work to their advantage?
Like someone said earlier. This game is too casual to compete with Tarkov. Tarkov is not for casuals. I can't believe it says this game is ULTRA REALISM on google as well. Like you see some tag over your teammate in real life. That's the difference between the games. Tarkov is always going for Realism. This one is going for: How to make people's lives easier, but using the Tarkov style gameplay.
