Just a little perception of my own to share: Whether Jesus is the Word, the Way or God himself is of secondary importance because God of the old testament has already proclaimed or foretold the coming of Jesus the Messiah, whose name is above all and only thru him a man will be saved and reunited with God. As a little sheep myself, my primary concern is to know the way how to get back "home" to be able to meet my heavenly father shamelessly, and I believe He has given us the Way. The Idea that Jesus is the Father is all about deity. If you Deity Jesus then you can can Give a King or monarch Deity . Therefore N.T.Wright is just following his own Tradition . I personally disagree with him on that. You can still believe Jesus is the Son of God (1st born) Without making him God. But he is a part of God . God is a convenient English word to explain the unexplainable part of the natural faith that every human being is born with. The Father and Jesus share the same one Spirit. Therefore they are one. Ephesians 2:18 "For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit." Jesus came to give that to Us. Ephesians 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens,[d] but you are fellow citizens with the saints (or sons) and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by[e] the Spirit. Respected N. T. Wright rightly indicates that the Jewish monotheistic theologies were greatly "blended" within the Greco-Roman religious ideologies, and Paul's presentation of Jesus as the "form of God and equal to Him" is such an example. No doubt, Paul's imaginations and interpretations of the Lord Jesus Christ, as a Jewish Christian, greatly vary from from what many New Testament readers imagine and interpret "Jesus as God." I'm a self-taught Christian by just attending many different churches and many different Bible studies, including Mormon, Jehovah witnesses, and Catholicism, and even the world mission society, and I came to the conclusion that a fundamental truth is Jesus is God, absolutely.... Which it's so fascinating to even say that I believe that God's with me and teaching me, it's beyond a miracle, that these thoughts and beliefs I even have, that is the amazing Grace of God, I Am Right or I Am Right.

There is a great analogy for explaining the Trinity. the trinity is like a grape vine, the father, son and Holy Spirit are all different grapes but they share the same vine on the same plant.

Why all the prophet before Jesus didn't teach about trinity? Are they the one who doesn't know how to explain about God? And how about all the people before Jesus including Adam who believe in One God (monotheism) in the day of judgement? Can they allow to blame their prophet in front of God because their prophet didn't teach them trinity?

No one disputes that in the NT God is made known in and through and as Jesus but that is _not_ the same as saying that Jesus is co-equal to the Father; and, indeed, there are passages in scripture which are in tension with the doctrine of the Trinity as articulated by the Council of Constantinople 381 AD. N T Wright always attempts to evade the most difficult problems by slippery terminology, as in this video.

"Keep comments respectful" sounds so reasonable and nice, but it, of course, means "don't make me uncomfortable", "don't leave me with uncomfortable questions" , "don't challenge my faith". The reality is that Christians believe what they believe, not because of compelling reasons, they believe because they believe and they justify what they believe by reference to apologists who give them a fuzzy security about what they already believe. They believe because they were introduced to the message by someone they admire, because the church community if which they are members are nice, and because the pastor of their church offers hope in the face of a nasty and scary world. NT Wright earns his really good pay, by building a wall of sound which offers that feeling of reassurance, but it's not for no reason that Christian belief in the UK is a feature of those over 60 and is rejected by those under 30, according to the statistics from the last census (yes, there's evidence that it is also a feature of those under 16, but that may have more to do with the fact that the census forms are completed for them by the same parents who drag them to church, rather than reflecting their own, personal beliefs). It's decline is because it answers questions that no one outside of the Church is asking and doesn't answer the questions that the wider community, beyond the church walls, is asking. Yip.. Jesus is God.. right from the very first message John wanted to bring accross and declare in both books he wrote by the Spirit. The Father being a Spirit can not be seen therefore to complete redemtion He prepared a body for Him to dwell on the earth. Psa 40:6. Hence God left heaven and became flesh and dwelt amoungst us. So we could see Him, touch Him etc.. as John explains in 1Jhn and Jhn 1.. then He ascended and was seated and empowered at the Right hand of the Father.. Efe 1:20 .. So therefore we have God the Father, the Son and the Spirit.. and for a brief time (around 33 yrs) on earth God was man and God in an earthly body.. He had to be in order to carry the full weight of all mankinds sin on that earthly body.. and then that earthly body was brutally slain and crusified for all humanity that ever will live.. and He paid the full price in order to set all humanity free and declare all holy! But He didnt stop there.. thats only half the Gospel.. He was then raised by His own Power and in that raising all of humanity was raised with Him and seated with Him Efe2 and Col2-3.. that is the truth and the real Gospel of salvation. Amen

Trinity isn’t a good explanation of theFather, Son and Holy Spirit. Look at these references to the Holy Spirit. These are from the kjv. Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, the Spirit, Spirit of God, Spirit of Jesus Christ, Spirit of the Lord , Spirit of Christ, Spirit of the living God, Spirit of our God, Spirit of your Father, holy Spirit of God, Spirit which is of God, Spirit of His Son, his Holy Spirit, My Spirit, His Spirit, the Lord is that Spirit, Spirit of grace, holy Spirit of promise, Spirit of adoption, Spirit of life in Christ, Spirit of life from God, the Spirit itself. The way the Spirit is described in the scripture as being "of God" and "of His Son" and being "His Spirit", it doesn't sound like a third person. I don't think the Spirit is a third person. I think it is what God is. Just as you and I are human beings, the Father and Son are Holy Spirit. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit.
