Here is how the Bible proves that Jesus is not God: 1) Jesus worshiped God and says that his God is the Father in John 20:17. So how can God have a God? That of course isn't logical, God does not have a God but here Jesus says plainly that his God is his Father. Jesus also says he has brothers and we know God does not have brothers. 2) Jesus teaches that his God created him. In John 6:57 his says that the reason he is alive is because of his Father, "I live because of the Father". If you wrote a book and hired publishers to print and translate your book, but they kept repeatedly altering it by removing the name of its main character, would you not find other publishers? You would use even the lowest and unimpressive if they would keep true to your book. Well Jehovah God has done somthing similar. John 1:1 therefore translates the verse not only to common sense but also with insight of God's personal name Jehovah YHWH. 4) the Trinity concept originated from pagans and the occult. I love this. When I was young and in the jw cult I recall the man on the podium directing us to this verse John 1:1 and as it was read aloud & I read along in my bible I sat there thinking to myself...."Jesus is the word...there is ONLY ONE TRUE GOD, so any other god is a false god, but Jesus cannot be a false god" .... it just doesn't even make sense. If u know Jesus is the word, was with God & was God then even grammatically this makes NO SENSE! A little bit simpler is: Did Jesus allow himself to be worshiped. They have to say yes because there are a LOT of scriptures that show he was worshiped, and that he allowed it. So if he was worshiped the FIRST commandment is to worship God ONLY. Period...JW's have NO answer for this.

I like to ask Jehova witnesses to explain John 1:3. They like to pervert verse 1 and said it doesn't mean Jesus is God even though it says the word is God. But verse 3 completely destroys the doctrine that Jesus is an angel. "Through him, all things were made. And without him nothing that was made was made" So without him, nothing was made. So he can't be in the category of made because without him nothing that is made is made. So this verse explains that Jesus isn't created, he's eternal Not only that but let me explain how the Trinity is the only way to explain God. God is eternal, he doesn't change right? He's the same yesterday, today and tomorrow right? Ok. Which came first? God's love or his creations? If God never changes then his love existed before his creation, so who did God love? Which came first, his communication or creation? If God never changes than he communicated before he created, so who did he communicate with? See, in Islam, judiasm, Jehova witnesses etc. They can't explain this, because they would have to admit that God changed, and God is not eternal in all his attributes. But in the Trinity we have explanation of this. God communicated prior to his creation inside of the Trinity. God loved prior to his creation inside the Trinity. Therefore these attributes are eternal and did not come into existence because of his creation. God IS love. We didn't cause him to love because he has always loved. This is how we are made in his image. What does Genesis say "Let US create man in OUR image" We were given the ability to have relationship, communicate, love, and have a rational mind. These are all chatecteristics of God that he gave us, if he made us in his image then these chatecteristics existed PRIOR to the creation of anything

When we say that Jesus is God (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8), we are saying that Jesus possesses the divine nature. But the term "Son of God" does not mean that Jesus is not God. Think about it. If the term "Son of God" meant that Jesus is not God, then does the term "Son of Man" mean that Jesus is not a man? Of course not. Likewise, if the term "Son of Man" means that Jesus is a man, then does it not imply that when it says Jesus is the "Son of God" that he is God? We ought not look at the ancient words found in Scripture and judge them by modern thinking. "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God," (John 5:18). Even in the Old Testament there are signs of the unity within God - “let us make man in our image, in our likeness” Genesis 1:26 if God was God alone then he would have said “let me make man in my image”. Or take this verse: “hear o Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One” - that word “one” can be translated “unified” and is interesting to note that the actual Hebrew word for one (as in singular) was not used.

This is VERY interesting. In the New World Translation it says: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. 2 This one was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence John 1:3 is distinctly suggesting something different from the verse you quoted. These are one of the lines that personally I tend to gloss over. But these very same lines bring light to even more notable changes.🤯

I had this conversation with my sister (jw) and she sent John 1:1 from her Bible version. I was so amazed, their Bible reduced Jesus to god and this doctrine is stuck in their minds, they find it hard to acknowledge Jesus as God. Glad someone finally spoke about it.

I've been studying this cult for a few months now, trying to find out as much as i can about the history of this cult and how they twist God's word to deceive. Here's why I'm doing this Before the virus hit us around Xmas, I young girl came to my door and she was a JW. Just this past week, this girl remembered me and sent me a handwritten letter (which is awesome b/c nobody does that anymore) which I believe is an opportunity to plant a seed and explain with all humility that JW theology is a lie. Tall task I know, but hopefully, if she escapes that cult and if I could play a small part in that, it will be completely worth it. We can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Jehovah’s Witnesses would argue that Christ was created before the beginning of the physical universe by using Revelation 3:14 which calls Christ “the beginning of the Creation by God.” The easy answer for this is that would mean there was a beginning before the beginning. Not possible. Christ is the beginning of the Creation by God because he is the one who began the act of Creation.
I believe it’s 3 persons in 1. You might be like how does that make sense well God said when we marry we become 1 flesh so 2 separate beings but 1 in union or relationship. Just like I feel in the union or relationship that the Father has with the son makes them 1. And the Holy Spirit is God Spirit that he let’s dwell in us if we’re born again.

how could Jesus be a creature if “in him all things were created”? At times the Bible uses the word “all” in a way that allows for exceptions. Like he said, John 1:1 says in the beginning was The Word (Jesus) and the Word was God (Jesus is God) and the Word was with God (Jesus was there with God) Jesus calls God His Father because He is one, exhibiting His humanity, two, teaching us how to reverence God, and three, acknowledging that He is in fact from God and not from man. That distinction must be made for our benefit. So let's put it like this. God is a spirit, we cannot see Him, or reach Him. Jesus is His physical manifestation. He was seen. He had form. Though you and your father work in the same field and occupation and are accomplishing a particular goal in unison, you are no less a human.* The position relative to other changes based off of if you are the Son or you are the Father but you both are no less human. Remember, humans and God are categories of ontology, not class or status. *2.) Though you work in unison with your father, you could never be identified as your father and so terms that apply “only” to the father can never be applied to the son.* Jesus is identified as alpha and omega, first and the last, Almighty, beginning and the end, Holy One, King of Kings and even passages attributed to *YHWH* are attributed to Him. This means that Jesus must be *Yahweh* Himself, *YHWH* in the flesh. I’m not a JW. But just would like an answer from anyone. If Jesus is God, why did He have to ask His Father, and pray to His Father and say that The Father is Greater than I? And also saying things like, “to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work”. Was Jesus talking to Himself? If He is God, why did He say those things? Please, someone explain. With most Christians we believe in One true God but have been given the wrong explanation. Here is the truth. When God spoke words, what he had spoken, it came into being. Thank you for your work. Personally, the composition of the Godhead being discussed by mortals is beautiful but also a little daunting for us. Whether you're Unitarian, Trinitarian, modalist or pluralist in your understanding thus far of the Godhead does not matter if Jesus is not LORD, and we don't trust and obey Him. And I must clarify, that plural presence in the Godhead is not polytheism. Meanwhile, will we cry Lord, Lord and still live in disobedience? At that point, our current understanding of this amazing composition will not be what gets us into the kingdom. I'm not worried about the Unitarian belief of the Witnesses. I'm more worried that when they have their memorial meal at the same time as Passover, they look at the elements and pass them along without partaking if they are not part of the 144K. For real. I've studied with them for 13 months, and half my family are witnesses. I've never come to celebrate Passover only to deny partaking the elements. Oh well. Thanks again for the video.

Peter did not say Jesus was “GOD THE SON” or” GOD”…… but “THE SON OF GOD”. So why would I want to change Jesus words? That would be heresy no matter how you exegete it or whatever translation you use. Peter says and ‘Jesus’ confirms he is the son of God. But you say he is God…………………….who should I believe? NOW argue with Jesus not Me. By the way, your comparison of Son of Man/ Son of God doesn't make sense - ADAM IS CALLED "SON OF GOD" is he fully GOD? Luke 3:38.

Genesis 1:1 beginning and John 1:1 beginning are two separate beginnings both apply to the subject that’s being talked about one was the Heaven and the Earth the other was the Word. also verse 3 of John clearly brings out the word that was in the beginning with God all things were made by him, so John 1:1 beginning is not taking about creation
Here is how the Bible proves that Jesus is not God: 1) Jesus worshiped God and says that his God is the Father in John 20:17. So how can God have a God? That of course isn't logical, God does not have a God but here Jesus says plainly that his God is his Father. Jesus also says he has brothers and we know God does not have brothers. 2) Jesus teaches that his God created him. In John 6:57 his says that the reason he is alive is because of his Father, "I live because of the Father". Couple this with that fact that he is "begotten" of his God (John 3:16) means plainly that at one point he was non existent until God Begot him just like at one point we all were non existent till our parents begot us, also (Col 1:15). 3) God's name Jehovah identifies the person who is the "ONLY true God" (John 17:3). If you simply put God's personal name Jehovah back in the scriptures where God himself had it inscribed by his prophets, then all confusion about who God is would dissipate. If you wrote a book and hired publishers to print and translate your book, but they kept repeatedly altering it by removing the name of its main character, would you not find other publishers? You would use even the lowest and unimpressive if they would keep true to your book. Well Jehovah God has done somthing similar. John 1:1 therefore translates the verse not only to common sense but also with insight of God's personal name Jehovah YHWH. 4) the Trinity concept originated from pagans and the occult. Pagans still worship triune gods. the trinity doctrine is pagan. It worships 3 different persons as God. That's pagan my friend.
Jesus christ the word the I AM always had the image likeness and form of the one true GOD. Example.. let us make man in our image..in our likeness.. this clearly shows that both the father and son has the same image and likeness.
Jesus IS God. When he was on Earth he was a human. "Why was he praying to himself" he's a human, the trinity is three in one and one in three. They are all connected and one being, He can pray to himself because he is God. it's somewhat like talking to yourself you can say. It's different from worshipping yourself. @BOLD TV You have it wrong friend. The "beginning" of Genesis 1:1 is speaking of God creating the physical universe, the heavens, and the earth, not the creation of everything. Job 38:7 speaks of the angels shouting with joy while witnessing God's creative work. Angels were created by God and existed before the universe and earth. You agreed that John 1:1 is speaking of Gen 1:1, therefor the Word was there at that beginning which does not mean he is from eternity past. The JWs did not change scripture, they translated scripture, and they are right at John 1:1c.
