How can you grade a city during Covid? I've been here since 2021-May and yes it was hard times with everything closed but its all open now and pretty fun city to live in.
@@afinnimore1 my brother's wife is Portuguese, and her parents have a condo there. We went in August, I was very impressed. The food was phenomenal, and very affordable.
Kitchener Waterloo is not at all a small town and it appears you only stuck to the downtown area in Kitchener which is pretty ass, the markets you went to are also hipster ones and not where most locals would shop, they’re pretty niche stores. We go to actual loblaws or other grocery stores like Walmart and farm boy. Then specially ones for special products if people choose. Waterloo’s downtown area is much nicer, but you probably wouldn’t have been able to do anything there since you choose not to comply with public safety requirements - as well if you had a car to go to the actual townships attached to KW like Wilmont - you woulda met the friendly rural people you’re looking for. KW is smaller than Toronto but it’s definitely not a small town. But if you can’t handle kitcheners downtown, downtowns in townships are much smaller with a single strip and limited specialty stores or places open late.
Was that shot on the DJI Action 2? Super wide, fast camera movements, good stabe. The sound synchronization (or lack thereof) threw me off a bit. Thumbs up anyway.
So...not the glowing endorsement KW Tourism was hoping for LOL. Anyway, always looking forward to your videos, VP, they are always interesting and calming. Nice to hear from your gf too. Thank you.👍❤
You need to give yourself a cheat day bro, if not for yourself then for you're amazing girlfriend who puts up with your shit and quirks. She deserves a guy who will take her out for ice cream, or frozen yogurt or some kind of lactose free pastry.
Have you ever visited Muskoka? You guys would love it, it's amazing 🍁 lakes every couple minutes no matter what direction you drive, amazing rock cuts and waterfalls everywhere. We're an hour south of Algonquin Park. It's incredible!
@@tigeryetiurmomspaghetti3626 ya really incredible! Definitely worth seeing for yourself if you ever go camping. I highly recommend renting a canoe if you enjoy that sort of thing. But you definitely have to be careful, my friend sprained her ankle on a portage (I personally prefer canoeing and hiking separately 😝) - Good thing she is a freaking warrior and made it back to our campsite lol! 🏕🏞 Which, btw, was an island all to ourselves. 🌌 Its freaking amazing tho for real.
Yeah.. Our waterfowl have gotten sick from stuff people were feeding them. The two swans are Otis and Ophelia. Otis lost his previous mate and was very depressed till he got his new mate Ophelia. BTW Kitchener and Waterloo are not the same... You were a lot in Kitchener.. St Jacobs is overrated and too touristy. I like our Kitchener Market many times over. Come back when Covid is done. Queen Street Commons Cafe is still closed and that is our tribe...
Still saying it, you have to go to Sedona. The locals are way different than the people you'll find in a big city. The businesses where the locals go would never require a passport or mask.
if all trees grew like the lazy tree, the power company will never have to trim limbs anymore, and trailers and cars will never again be smashed by them...i wonder if the tree does push-ups?
Hey, Kitchener is not small town, very populated over 300thousand people. Lots of traffic. If you want small town, go to Fergus, Alora, Stratford, these towns are between 20to 30thousand people, well established, but still quaint with lots of trails and lots to do, lots of small restaurants, in the summer lots of street festivals. Stratford is my favourite, it tries to be a little more like Stratford on aven in England, Shakespeare. They are all about 30 to 45 minutes from Kitchener. Anyway, Kitchener is not it.
I love your travel and exploring vlogs. I seek them out in all your content. I would love to see more of them. I like your health videos too, but my favorite is the travel. Even if you only take me on a beautiful hike…. I’m happy.
Look around you. Are there any fruit trees? Any fruit to harvest? If you want to be a semi-fruitarian, you might want to buy some frozen berries. You are going to bake a pumpkin. Can you bake some of your potatoes to avoid the teflon pot?
Sure is brother. Repent all and change from your ways. I’ve always wondered why vegetable police doesn’t pray for healing I had colitis to, I’ve watched this guy from the start I’ve been on the same journey dr morse nearly killed me with his crazy diet. But the lord is the true healer. Have faith be healed but I ate a biblical diet also Mediterranean style. God bless you all repent and pray the rapture is near ✝️
King St and Queen St crossing ea other is weird. What were the founding pioneers thinking? Sounds like Kitchener doesn’t resonate with you - the train trip there, the first impression, and then the closed farmers market.
Sells organic produce... Even puts it in glass jars that won't mess up your hormones....... Demands you wear a diaper filled with toxins lol and so throws you out 😂 Would he himself be organic...?
Full Circle demands masks. The sushi restaurant passports. It surprises me that small privately owned shops (Buds is another) would screw themselves by sending away business. Since it is worse than Toronto, I wonder if someone wasn't paying them to demand passports. Kitchener is smaller and more controllable than Toronto.
I want to say another thing about that sushi restaurant. They screwed me and my date bad one evening. It is all you can eat and they didn't tell us they were closing soon. We were new and some one , supposedly a customer, came over, "you're new here let me help you place your order". She helped us fill out the form and then, later we get a little bread and butter plate with about 6 tiny morsels on it. Then they announced they were closing, no more orders. No last call, and we paid for 2 meals.
Oh man feel for you that’s how it was for us in the town we lived in Oregon we moved to Florida and everything‘s amazing Novak‘s no mask I went outside this morning it was so tropical get your fruit eaten ass out here😂😂
I'm local and yes you did visit the homeless district of the city where they send all the people on crack. Prob the cheapest rent :D The soup kitchen and tent city is also on that block. It's known as the wrong side of the tracks. The nice side is Waterloo. It's were the posh Google High rise buildings . And organic dog food stores.
A small town? It's got over 100k population! That's massive lol. And again, city parks aren't exactly nature. You're still breathing city air, hearing city noise...
Your girlfriend has a sweet laugh. I’ve been wondering if you and your girlfriend share meals? You made a wonderful meal for yourself and there is no mention of sharing with her. Looking forward to you traveling to some more locales.
Try Gooseberries 8:15 I know I like them. Amhurstburg is a nice community... Why not just move to Scarborough? Head east along 401 The big Apple tourist destination Colboure, Port Hope, Lots of rural areas Monsanto grown produce and hormone fed cattle to feed on 😃😃😃 Cornwall, just don't go past Quebec Border...they will ask you for your Papers 📃
Kitchener and Waterloo are completely two different cities attached together. Most of your time was in Kitchener, Victoria park is in Kitchener, should visit St. Jacobs market in Waterloo!
Those ducks would make easy pray. Why don't you have a bow and arrows. You could save a lot of money. You don't see any signs telling the ducks to not feed the humans do you?
Are there any bad areas in Canada? Drug infested and dirty? Roaming packs of hooded teens? Canada seems like a dreamland. The street's so clean you can eat off them. Maybe im just jaded from living near London England.
Lol! Just found this video by accident. You should do your research a little more. Don't call Kitchener "Waterloo" or vice versa. Just ask some Cambridge people what they think about when you say Hespeler, Preston and Galt...
Love the "travel" vids Would be great if you get the chance to show off the best nature spots in Ontario. I'm not talking about bleak midwinter camping. Next season oh, and move to BC already. I mean, come visit first. It's rather amazing here. And that "town" you are in, would be considered a large city here...........
Hello, Casey and Girlfriend! I’m doing OMAD, having two protein shakes at midnight every night, for four days. Then I eat whatever sounds good all weekend.
Kitchener Waterloo is so bizarre. Two cities in one yet in Kitchener you can have backyard chickens and backyard fire pits but not in Waterloo. You can literally live right across the street from someone and get fined up the wazoo for doing the same thing your neighbor does. Messed up.
Not sure why this is so difficult to understand. Nearly every city borders on multiple other cities and the laws always change as soon as you take one step over.
