Believe it or not, twice probably has the biggest male fanbase out of any girl group. When you watch their comeback stages, you hear mostly male voices doing the fan chants

'Like Ooh-Aah' is basically about their music being so good it would bring zombies back to life. Also at the beginning of the m/v Bangchan, Stray Kids' leader, is on the treadmill to the right of Jihyo, Twice's leader. He trained Twice predebut and is really close with Sana.

Twice have been in the industry for 8 years now and have escaped the all too feared K-Pop 7 year curse. For discography, it's best to listen to it in release order so you can see there growth thru the years. The Korean releases first, then you can listen to their Japanese tracks next. Then their B-sides to complete the journey. Their name means "Once thru the ears, once thru the eyes" - meaning that these girls will charm you Twice. 🥰

TWICE started their concept as bubblegum pop(?) and changes through time. Now they're trying to experiment and into more mature ones since they're not teens anymore though they still have upbeat and happy songs. I guess they're just naturally charming people that's why kpop and non-kpop fans always say they're cute.

TWICE can be an intimidating group to get into at first because they have so many members, but I think you got the right idea. Pick one, stick with her, then slowly you get to know the others through your fav. What's crazy is how I got into TWICE. It wasn't their music, stages, or MVs but it was an online show they have called TIME TO TWICE. I believe my first episode was their camping one. Basically it's just them being themselves and having fun and I just sort of get to know and love their personalities. Once I started liking them as people, then all of a sudden their MVs felt more special and amazing (if that makes any sense). Like you, TWICE wouldn't have been my cup of tea going in. They don't make complex music and they aren't revolutionizing the world... but they're fun. There's nothing wrong with enjoy just uncomplicated fun songs. If I want deep and complex, I'll listen to (G)I-DLE. If I just want to dance, I'll put on TWICE.
