What makes Kyle different from Max for me is that despite his dominance in a race or season, he’s not immune from screw-ups or incidents. It makes it easier to root for him despite how dominant he can be.

In terms of success in their respective series, no one in nascar compares to Verstappen. You'd need to put 3 of the most dominant seasons ever in nascar to even begin a comparison. But it's like apples to oranges comparing dominance in f1 to dominance in nascar But if you take their driving styles, yeah they're equal. Both are really aggressive, with all the talent in the world who just needed to refine their racecraft. And now they're at the top of their respective series. Both of them also win in whatever kind of racing they compete in

Larson wouldn't have been as good as guys like Gordon, Earnhardt, Johnson. Now in terms of dirt oval his skills are unmatched but that takes completely different set of skills

In a pavement stock car he looks better than he is becuase the field isnt that deep anymore, he is all time great in a sprint car though

Comparing NASCAR and F1 is the same as acting like baseball and basketball are the same sport. The only similarity is they are both motorsports. Verstappen has almost no competition. Only 20 cars in the race and the only driver with an equal car is required to finish behind him.
