Taking the track, that used to be the championship race , out of the playoffs is just 💩. And putting Watkins Glen in? I’m cool with a schedule rearrangement but make it make sense

Anyone can get a podcast nowadays and most of the one's that have a podcast know very little about what they talking about. Prime example here. Nascar doesn't give a damn what yall think
The regular season points leader should have the choice of the finale track out of the final 4 round of tracks. He has to announce it before the "playoffs " begin
I agree that once the wet tire decision was made by Nascar (being the first experiment and all), that teams should have been given the choice of changing tires or not. When Nascar officials started forcing teams to change tires and no positions being lost or gained, it was no longer a race, it was a farce. I HATE planned cautions, it takes strategy out of the race. Nascar race officials are too involved in races and should let teams race. These forced tire changes benefited the drivers that were gaining positions and burning their tires, and penalized drivers that were playing the long game, the 68 laps or so. This is a farce. I don't understand why Nascar is so afraid to let teams race, if teams decided to switch to slicks when the track is still wet, they will crash or run poorly and that will be their problem. That's how racing should be. Not father Nascar getting in the way.
The reason why they did what they did is simple… they just wanted to feel out a very new situation that was in front of them. But you got me to comment so enjoy the interaction I guess 🤷🏼♂️
Other than 4 the clicks, I just don't get why you guys put up these trashy, stir-the-pot videos. I expect it from rando YTers trying to grift the algorithm but I guess I expect more from people supposedly invested in the sport. There is a multitude of valid reasons for NASCAR handling the situation the way they did and at no time did they ever say this was going to be the process moving forward. As with any new procedure as part of a larger process/program, decisions in these types of situations need to be taken with deliberation because there is way more at stake than your guys' feelings. You guys just about make Denny Hamlin seem sensible.
He could have just named off SHR drivers, but he felt the pressure. I hope he never ever goes to court. He may be an innocent bystander and go to jail, lol.
Carla is AMAZING with these bunch of nuts. Clears Casey and it not particularly close. She wasn’t about trying to get rumors/drama out in the open like Casey and we didn’t have to hear about Milbrook
I can't help but laugh when Brett talks about how much more expensive it will be for HAAS to keep a one car team. We're talking about a man wasting billions on an F1 team who's best contribution to the sport was their ex-principal's personality.
In defense of the fans who left NH during the rain delay (i stayed because my brother and i decided to hang out and watch the IMSA watkins Glen 6 hour while we waited for an official call) we were told NOTHING. we weren't told what NASCAR was thinking. That they were looking at a specific window on the radar, or that they would use the wet tires because most of us thought NASCAR would say they wouldn't want to finish a race on wets, we just had no idea what the intention was. Now you could say if you don't know then stay, but we were looking at tornado warnings and extremely severe weather coming through and again were not told the worst weather passed to the south of the track. We had no info to make the decision of what makes most sense to do. All weekend there was absolutely no communication of anything to the fans at the track. It was real bad and this is the first time I've been in nearly 10 years (because fuck the July date and the heat) and we were never left this much in the dark when i was coming every year.
New Hampshire isn't great for the racing for a playoff race but the weather is going to be way the fuck better for fans attending the race than mid july or june at 80, 90 degrees.
Casey is great but Carla did a fantastic job and she should definitely be Casey's fill in while she's on maternity leave and find a home for her after also. 100% professional and handled corraling the 3 goofballs with ease. and a perfect fit for DBC!
