Is LEGO Black Knight's Castle 6086 DEFENSIBLE? (feat. A Guest Enthusiast)

This was one of my favorites as a kid. The colors made it visually striking, and it felt really tall, even if parts of it were just a few bricks higher than the base. Especially when compared to the King's Mountain Fortress, which even to a kid seemed lame and half-hearted.

I think it's cool that this castle having access to the sea was pointed out as if I remember correctly the Black Knights were the only faction at this time to use ships, at least in official sets that is.

As a lego nerd and a Shadiversity fan, this was a surprisingly good video. Y’all even did a pretty good job going over the castle review. I don’t have anything to complain about.

5:18 - I think the shields should add to Defensibility as they are protecting those walls very well :D

perhaps one of the best implementations of a ladder i have seen on one of the castles ever. truly a fortress to be reckoned with.

My favorite castle set . Love the raised baseplate. . The front gate is huge 👍

If ever there be a Castle set I hope LEGO remakes with modern design principles, I hope it is this one.

I've been waiting for this one! It was the crown of my Lego collection for several years, until Royal Knights Castle came out and I got that.

We got this set for our almost 5 yr old child as a Christmas 1992 gift. It was their 1st LEGO set & was beloved throughout childhood. It was even used for the re-creation of a Shakespearian battle scene during their senior yr of high school. Yes, we still have it, but are sadly missing one of the side white helmet dragon wings. Pretty remarkable that the rest survived.

Great videos. I have been along for the highs and lows... the crenels and merlons if you will, and I have enjoyed the subtle humor. I am also grateful someone else views the Wolfpack as I do. The Wolfpack fortress was the last castle set I received as a child/preteen and was often the site of the final battles after Black Monarch's Castle was laid to ruin permanently. I had hoped the set from this video would rise from it's ashes but alas time moved on into pirate world.

So funny... I just rebuilt my King's Mountain Fortress from ... way to long ago and noticed that connector peg. Not sure if I ever knew why it was there but sure am glad I watched til the very end of the video. Awesome stuff, guys

Boiling oil was used. At Caerphilly Castle in Wales there is a tower that's split all the way up and the outer wall of the tower leans out. This damage was caused by boiling oil exploding inside the tower during a siege.

Great video, although about the portcullis, you got that wrong. It can be drawn as far as one can barely see the bottom of it, and the knights can go in and out on their horses.

The ghosts had a symbiotic relationship with the knights in this period of Lego Castles. But were eventually replaced by wizards and dragons.

I have no idea how I found my way here, what am I watching and or should I be scared. But goddamn I'm happy right now.
