IKR that would be so cool! Seeing how Marvel has had their modulars it gives me hope especially with all of the cool minifigures introduced in those modulars but I guess we will just have to wait and see. just imagine a Teen Titans tower or a hall of justice though. Or even a watch tower...
I'd love to see more sets based off of DC Supervillains since that game had a HUGE roster with so many detailed minifigs. Some of my favorites would be Red Tornado, Scarface, Clayface, the Young Justice cast, and so many more. I think it'd also be cool if they did some remakes of some of the older LEGO Batman I and II sets as well
You know how they talk about superhero fatigue in cinema? I think i’m starting to have lego dc fatigue primarily cause of how it’s always now batman or a variation of batman lol. Lego had and still has so many opportunities to do much more with the DC license. When you see what they put out with the marvel theme and what’s coming out DC wise, it doesn’t even come close. Now granted, DC as a whole hasn’t really been popping as of late so i get it but to put out a few sets a year around one character, anyone will go mad. I was looking at possibly getting the skyline but honestly i am now having second thoughts.
Haha same. I thought the batman 89 sets they released last year with the bat cave shadowbox were really cool but like not unique at all so I never bought them. We really need something fresh. I think a big part of the lack of DCEU sets is the more mature audience they have with movies such as TSS and ZSJL but like they've made sets for more mature characters/movies in the past so it kind of is frustrating. Batman's my favorite superhero of all time but like I'm a DC fan not just a Batman fan, so I definitely share your frustration.
As a big LEGO dc and Batman fan ;can’t say LEGO dc is back because of one set And it’s based on just Batman.. we need Batman TAS sets away from this! And we need other dc sets away from Batman
Yeah I wouldn't go as far as saying it's 100% back just that it seems like a step in the right direction. I'm definitely an optimist on this subject lol and hope my expectations for LEGO DC are met in the future but I don't want to get too excited.
