I've never quite understood the Sean O'Mally hype. I mean, he looked good in his wins, but he also has some decision wins on his record (including his first two UFC outings against a fighter who was 1-2 in the UFC at the time and one who was 0-1 in the UFC and who's on a 6-fight losing streak since). So, promising prospect, yes for sure, but hyping him as the next big thing¿ Chimaev at least has effortlessly run through all of his opponents (yes, not high quality, but at least they couldn't slow him down to a decision), and none of them made it out of the second round, most not even the first. So, if you want to put some hype behind a prospect, then Chimaev seems to be more deserving than O'Malley.

@@chiquita683 Chimaev has shown he is a brilliant wrestler and that he has knockout power, from video footage I’ve seen of him striking in training and sparring he looks good. How that translates to a fight in the ufc I don’t know but wrestlers always have the threat of a takedown to make their striking more dangerous eg. Khabib
