I always thought Lily had mad potential, with her cancelable standing fierce and wind stack condor spire! Her only weakness is the lack of reversal. Keep it up, Justin, feels so good to see you play a grappler!
She’s weird because far away she has actual good long distance normals and plays keep away. Up close she’s a rushdown monster, with a dp. She barely needs drive meter and plays more like an old school Capcom character with an install added on. It makes her hard to fight because she can turn the usual dynamics on their head.
I main Zangief and play Chun-Li and Guile as secondary characters. I recently ran some online sets with Lily and she is so damn fun......had some magical moments learning her in the heat of battle and just learning how to string her combos and hit confirming her awesome super arts!
I tried Lily on a whim after labbing her for like 10 minutes. And then I ranked into Diamond 2 which is my highest rank out of nowhere. So, I might be switching to Lily myself. I just really hope they give her a real OD DP. Even if it's only with the wind. Between her and Zangief Im just tired of having no reversals lol

it's really annoying playing against a aggressive Lilly player you can't move and when you can I try to jump to counter the grab but guessing bad half the time will get you rushed down again. I learned to keep my distance LOL
normals arent the best thing to use for anti air cause they can be beat if you know how to do it. and remember when honda does his butt slam he can choose front or back and that was probably messing up your timing Your Modern gief was better. and most people dont know how to fight lilly that's why you was having so much fun :p

The command grab instead of windstock special 🧐 the games input reader is completely fine though. Lily is seriously under represented content wise watching people play Ken, Luke and JP is a snooze fest she's fun.
