add that he gets 34 a game on 62 TS % while taking the most pullups and contested shots in the league.... finishes 75% at the rim 50% from midrange and 38% 3 on 8 pullups a game and 2 catch and shoots.... oh and add that he was doubled 400 more possessions this season than jokic and shai (20% more)

Difference between Luka and ANT is when they are going in the paint is that ANT does not think about anything else that I will finish with a bucket, but Luka slows down and he picks the best option (my self, alley oup pass to my center or pass to my wide open wing in corner).

Luka just has way more basketball IQ than Ant. Ant is more athletic yes, but that's about it (offensively). There is nothing on the offensive side, that Ant is better than Luka. Like srsly what is Ant supposed to be better at? Postmoves? Footwork? Passing? Fadeaway? Midranger? Floater? Stepbacks? The only thing I can think of are pullup threes and athleticism.

I think Legler is correct but one thing that he should mention... if you watch enough Mavericks in the playoffs.. like Kidd... Luka probes and figures you out early in the series. Once he figures you out he moves at a faster pace. It is a level of thinking the game that most guys do not have. Look at his series history... he ramps up as the series goes on. Dort was affecting him early because Luka was downloading everything those first games but once he had it then it was over for Dort and OKC because Luka did it at a faster pace.

His total pts responsible for (his points + the points off his assists) was the highest per game in the modern era. Even more than when Wilt averaged 50 per game. So yeah, he’s the best offensive player ever.

Minnesota was built to beat Denver, not for Luka and Kyrie. I said it before the start of Game 1, that Dallas is going to force Minnesota to go small. Luka and Kyrie both know how much of a liability Gobert is when away from the basketball. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s unplayable for most of the series.

For the dummies who are comparing Luka to harden Luka is a better scorer, passer, playmaker, rebounded, and absolute lethal in the clutch. Luka has averaged 34/10/9 for the whole season which is second highest average in NBA history only next to Micheal Jordan. Luka in the playoffs averages 31.9/9/9 which also second best in NBA playoffs history again just behind Micheal Jordan.

imagine putting a dpoy and a 2nd team all defensive team (probabily 1st all defensjve team caliber of defender if it wasn't for the positionless 5 man lineup cuz he is a top 3 perimeter defender) on a player and he isn't even affected slightly by that.... luka + a rim rolling rookie on offence completely out play a dopy and a top 3 perimeter defender in a pick n roll play....

He is, and on the run to be the best ever when he finishes. I said it all POs long, he's carrying a Mavs team that is quite trash. Even if Kyrie is playing better he's not all that the media is selling, the media just want a bit of the spotlight to fall on an American player. But let's say Kyrie has been great (he's been good). If you discount the best and second best player on each PO team's roster, Dallas is probably the third worst roster, only ahead of the Pelicans and Clippers (that suck without PG and Kawhi) and tops it is the fourth (the Suns/Magic could be in dispute for third, although I'd still take the Magic and any Suns ahead of what would be left of the Mavs). All of this while hurt, mind-boggling.

The Nuggets series was the T-Wolves' "Finals". They were built for that and only focused on that all season. They don't know what to do with LuKai and hadn't really thought about it. We shall see if they figure it out. Luka is every bit as dangerous as Jokic, and Kyrie is significantly better than Jamal Murray.

i said it before, if Mavs faces Nuggets - tough might not win, but if faces Wolves it's would have much better chance of winning. 2 games down, Mavs has proven they are much better than Wolves in everywhere. Luka is much better than Ant. Comparing Luka to SGA is bad enough, comparing Ant with Luka?! are you kidding me? Even SGA, JB and JT are better than Ant. Ant still has long way to go... in 3 years time, he would/might take over the NBA, i believe but not at this moment.

Nice to see people quickly starting to call Ant on the bs lol I love his game, I think he has a great competitive streak but the personality is grating. Stop trying so hard to be MJ-lite, we already have kobe for that. It doesnt quite feel authentic to him and it shows. Mavericks were -9 with Luka on the court🤣. If wolves just 2% better they win by 5+. Kyrie is saving this shot chucking defensive liability. He was trash all game then the role players get all the stops and let him ball hog in the fourth to win by 3?..lol..Wolves beat themselves.
