Both are the same. But in terms of groceries, market and food. I prefer msia. In terms of system and safety I prefer Singapore. But I love both. My mum was from Msia and my dad's Singaporean. They met when my mum came to sg for work. Fell in love and got married. 2 years later, my mum gave up her msia citizen and became a Singaporean. So I have tons of families in msia and sg. I love both ❤❤😅😅😂😂

Obviously retirees are thrilled to move to Malaysia from Singapore! The reason for this move is not only for practical reasons such as the low cost of living, modern amenities, and safety that Malaysia has to offer, but also because of my deep emotional attachment to this beautiful country. Compared to the stressful lifestyle in Singapore, I have found Malaysia to be a welcoming and warm place that allows me to fully embrace life with a sense of joy and contentment. With its breathtaking scenery, delicious food, and wonderful people, I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to live in this amazing country.

@Aaron Sebastian most Singaporean will choose to retire somewhere in the world. Malaysia is definitely in their top list for culture similarities. Japan & Taiwan are common, however Australia is all time favourite for those who have budget.

I have customer European couple that stay in Singapore and Malaysia alternate because of business. During pandemic, she and her husband stuck in Singapore. When the border open, she choose Kuala Lumpur as a home base Event though she had bag grazing 2 times, she and her husband choose Kuala Lumpur to stay instead Singapore . She said people here so nice and and chill unlike Singapore people more to like a robot and not friendly

Trying to rent a house in Singapore is a nightmare. U get a room rental in Singapore for a price of a terrace house in Malaysia. And u have to live the landlord in Singapore..nightmare..best is to work in Singapore but live in JB.. unless if u have a decent salary job or a successful business in Malaysia..

Tk semua rakyat Msia tgl di rmh besar kn? Rmh flat kami ada yg lebih luas dr rmh terrace sedara kami di JB. Cuma tkde laman je sbb tanah terhad. Hrg brg2 mentah dan makanan pun sikit lebih kurang je..itu yg kakak saya beritau sbb dia tgl di Johor. Dan tk semua rakyat Sg berbelanja di Johor. Di Sg, kereta bkn satu keperluan krn perkhidmatan awam kami adalah antara yg terbaik. Buat apa pening2kn kepala nk byr hutang kereta. Alhamdulillah kalau kita tau bersyukur dimana mana kita berada, kita akan merasa bahagia. Kebahagiaan dan kekayaan itu bkn diukur dgn rmh yg besar atau kereta yg bnyk. Hny pendapat saya. Selamat Hari Raya.

Cost of living is still expensive to local malaysians. The salaries are lower, and thus purchasing power is lower, and malaysians need to spend x3 more when going overseas compared to Singaporeans

Relatively speaking, the cost of living is not as high as most people think ( in Singapore) Food is cheaper in Singapore relative to income. You don't need to own a car because public transport is cheap and top-notch. The only thing expensive is housing.
