Is Master Mode Worth It? Terraria 2023

Nice man, you have stepped down with the presentation transitions and made cleaner transitions. Makes it both more visually appealing and makes it more satisfying to watch. If I remember correctly you stated you only make one video per week. (Fyi great fucking catchphrase when you ask people to subscribe and say your only weekly posting so it won't "clogg up our feed") Most of these videos have been very short, which is nice and their all good don't get me wrong. But, maybe upload one a tad bit longer video once a month ( say anything between 15 - 35 minutes ), reason being I'm 90% sure the algorithm likes longer videos, so it might get you some more views! As you've probs noticed seeing as most of your viewed videos on the channel are almost all atleast 15+ minutes. Glad to see the videos continuing.

I've played Terraria since the year it first came out and tbh I have not yet played master mode. Not even taken one of my maxed-out characters over to fresh master world. I've been thinking about making a master mode playthrough though. Thanks for the video

First off, all solid points about what makes master mode enticing, and I agree that it feels good to overcome a challenge! Progression is what makes Terraria so engaging for many, and I think adding in a bigger feeling of accomplishment only strengthens that progression enjoyment! One thing you didn't touch on that I think is kind of a big deal and ABSOLUTELY makes master mode (and expert before we had master as well) worth it, is the extra accessory slot! In expert mode, players unlock an extra accessory slot after defeating wall of flesh, and in master mode, you START with an extra slot on top of getting the expert slot as you usually would from WoF. Customization is a big part of my enjoyment from this game, and these extra slots allow for a wider breadth of customization if you're up to the task of dealing with more challenging enemies and bosses! When it really comes down to it, the relics and pets from master mode also add on to that customization as well, and while they might not be everyone's cup of tea, for the builders and fashionistas out there, we love these additions! There are so many cool builds you can do to make little displays for the relics and show off your mastery of the bosses! I think you hit the nail on the head with one of your points though - Terraria is a game that is best experienced multiple times through, and bumping the difficulty in it on subsequent play throughs allows the player to be adequately challenged once they have attained a high level of understanding of the game! For all these reasons, in my book, master mode is totally worth it, and I'd suggest everyone to give it a try once you feel comfortable with the game!

Good viedo i really liked it, its exacly what i think about master mode.

I haven't completed my first classic mode play through yet bud after this i will play on harder difficulty hehe ill play as a ranger this time

bro i played terraria once and didn´t like it at first but my friends played with me and i loved it (those mf made me play in master mode in my first gameplay it was hell)

No, it isn't worth it. Master mode adds nothing to the game except a couple of mounts and a ton of frustration. Basically you take triple damage and everything has triple health. If you think you can use your wits to get around that, you won't. If you find a strategy that works, the devs will change the game so that it fails. I've gotten all the way to Moon Lord, but I can't beat him because the 3X damage bullshit means that one phantasmal laser hit is enough to bring you down to 1/4 of your health and by the time you get him down to his core he will have so much stuff flying across the screen that you will die before you can use another potion. From what I understand the only consistent method to beat Moon Lord is to use asphalt and have a rod of discord which not only damages you, but also has a 1/1000 drop rate. Screw Master Mode, it sucks.
