The fact is mecca is far far too hot for humans besides being extremely arid. The mountains to the north block any cooler winds. The cooler monsoon winds that blow in Yemen also get blocked. The real baca valley which is likely in Petra has a more mediterranean climate than the hellish mecca.

I believe Petra was referred to as Beca or Mecca by one Christian writer back in the 7th century. Petra a stone city which had been hit by earth quakes often had great weeping hence Baca or Becca refereed to that also it was a Holy city of the Nabatseans and probably had great weeping during the haj as well.

Anyone who knows a little about the ahadith knows that there are three main gradings of authenticity: Sahih - authentic Hasan - good Da'if - weak Scholars look at the chain of narration (isnad) and check the authenticity of the narration. They look at the biography of every person in the isnad and find out if the hadith is acceptable. For example, if one narrator had issues with memorization, the hadith is rejected. This is known as hadith science/terminology and goes a thousand times deeper than what I briefly explained. I feel like discussing quantum physics with a kid. How can you not know this simple thing which anyone interested in Islam knows - and be so confident in what you are saying?

Do you know anything about hadith science? 3. What do you mean by "as it's purely irrespective of the material as its written"? Let me teach you something. "Hadith" means "narration," so, as you can think of it by yourself, the ahadith weren't written down things. All of Muhammad's companions told others about what they heard from him, and only a few actually wrote them down. These companions also taught what they heard from the Prophet to their students, who also told others about it and sometimes wrote them down. Up until great scholars like Al-Bukhari and Muslim came a few generations later, not many ahadith were really written down/compiled into one book. These scholars also tried to only write down authentic narrations in their books, but other scholars realized some were inauthentic (through the process I described earlier). 4. Who are the self-styled Islamic experts you'retalking about? Scholars? You're saying scholars are not knowledgeable enough to make precise judgements on the narrations' authenticity, therefore twist the texts? Give me a reference, it would be interesting to see what you mean. Oh wait, you made that up because you're too ignorant to accept that we grade the ahadith sincerely, not because we dislike them. In fact, many beautiful narrations are weak. It is not cherry picking.

Patricia Crone could read and write 15 archaic languages and in her book you'll find there is no place called Mecca on any ancient trade-route maps that she studied from the 4th century onwards. Not until 840ad does a map appear with Mecca on it. Mecca is nowhere near a trade route except for one 1,000 metres up on the plateau which carried just leather and milk. Because where Mecca is today, in the 7th century, it was just arid desert, no water therefore no vegetation so no people, no towns, no cities so no history. The main trade route was Petra until being destroyed circa 715 by an earthquake. Petra is where Islam began, hence all qiblas , right up until 727ad, point towards Petra, including the Huaisheng mosque 5,000 miles away. Over 100 mosques have their qiblas pointing to Petra, this is where Muhammad traded with local tribes on a daily basis and where the 'pillar of salt' stands that Muhammad passed every day. Petra also matches the description in the Qur'an, “ Two valleys, streams and trees of every kind, including Olive trees which, as you will know, only grow around the Mediterranean. When the Saudi royal family started investing in developing Mecca and its surrounds, excavators started to dig in the presence of Middle East Antiquities Archaeologists but found absolutely nothing, just virgin ground. However, nearby they uncovered a 14th century fort from the Ottoman Empire. (Unless we want to plagiarise it’s history, stories, myths and characters from it (25% of the Quran) or quote from it in our favour. Then it’s ok.) * The Quran was not written in Arabic, the Quran contains other languages and Muslim scholars have always known this! In the 10th Century al-Tabari identified Hebrew, Latin, Greek, Persian, Abyssinian and Syriac!

There are some scholarly opinions that 28 and 29 do not address Abraham, because if they did address Abraham then the Quran would be communicating something strange. @Prophet of PataliPutra we have the same story in detail which is in bible of how Hagar the wife of Abraham got was in lost and miraculous water came out for her son to drink. Quran confirms it is Makkah where she was and the same spring of water is still coming out today called zamzam and we believe it. I don’t see why they would be mad to pilgrimage there if God led them there. If you look on map it is not that far it is distance that could be reached. Not like travelling from Jerusalem to Europe.

o wow. tehillim(psalm) 84, line 7, says עברי בעמק הבכא. read hebrew right to left, first word means either ‘passer’ or ‘transgressors’, and in this case it means the latter, from context.(those who transgress, or ‘passing/trampling’ past boundries) then middle word just means valley, the last word which they think means ‘kabba’ actually means ‘tears’(like crying). the entire verse 7 of tehillim 84 says "transgressors arrive in the valley of tears(this means gehinnom/hell), there they create a fountain (from all their crying), still they will shower their judge(God) with thanks" meaning even in gehinnom the sinners are thanking God for His righteous judgements. Pslams 84 mentions pilgrimage and then Valley of Bacca, even a school boy can understand it is talking about the Annual Pilgrimage of Mecca(Also mentioned as Becca in the Quran). In the Muslim Literature Prophet Moses also made a pilgrimage to Becca and so did, Prophet David as he is singing about it.
