Ngl I’ve been playing 2k and madden yea I’ll pick this game every time had a steep learning curve for me at first but it’s growing on me especially since when I started I didnt know anything about baseball
Paid $70 for the game. Played for 2 hours and has felt like I have been playing for 9 months. If they could keep all the same gameplay and just update player models and all other graphics. Well it would feel brand new again. And please to god why can’t we have tons of camera angles to choose from besides the same ones every year.
I give it 6.5/10 its Literally copy an pasted from last 10 years smh franchise has noting new seems like all we got was new scorebug an new sound effects this company has just went to complete crap an lazy.
@bcgaming_ exactly man if they had Competition they would do alot more to the game. Tbh I can't see a difference from mlb on PS4 to mlb on PS5 it looks the exact same.

I recently purchased this game and it feels looks and feels like the last one I bought which was the Show 2020, it’s past time for these games to improve on graphics, I know that would be tough to do every year but how long will they just copy and paste from previous games
I actually like this years soundtrack alot... but i like Hip Hop & R&B, last two years with the negro league focus i feel like the game caters to my demographic better, when in the past there might only be 1 song i liked but at least then i uploaded mp3s to sounds of the show or used spotify... my bigger issue with the game especially for offline players seems that XP and stubs have been totally nerfed compared to older games and the Derek Jeter storylines were incomplete at launch and had to wait over a month for a title update to play the 2001-14 seasons in his career
@@kyle2beats Yeah, it's sad. This looked amazing 15 years ago on PS3, better when it came out on PS4 10 years ago. I played this on 1 month trial Series X and...eh. (Kinda thought..."is this bad because it's Sony game on XBox??") No, not really. PS Plus full free download on my (now old) PS4 last night...It really does look outdated now. Gameplay is laggy on my end as well, no idea why... All of my other PS4 games play just fine. Ah well.

Short answer...no. Games seemed fixed at times. As a player who only plays Franchise, seeing the 3rd runner up to MVP going unsigned because he was 32 and went down to a 77 is a travesty
It’s just amazing that I’m still playing MLB The Show 19 …The last great installment of this series…and MLB 24 looks just like MLB 19. 🙄 I’ll stick to 19 until this game decides to look like a next gen game. At least I still get better commentary 😊👍🏾
I haven’t bought or played MLB the Show since 2017. So maybe that’s why the game feels amazing to me. 😊 They need to retire that one animation where the batter fouls off a pitch and grabs the barrel of the bat. Thats been in the show too long.
anybody else have random announcer glitches. Like i was in the 7th inning and the announcer said “and we’ll go to extra innings” or something like that then one game i had 2 homers as a guy and the commentators said “she’ll try for her 3rd home run of the game” 😂😂😂 like this game feels rushed and copy and pasted
I have Gamepass Ultimate on Xbox Series X .. and I still am not sure if I want to download it! And as a Gamepass Ultimate subscriber.. we get it for free! 😂 I downloaded last year’s edition and played it for one week! That’s all!! 😅
No one is demanding their company be taken away, or take away their ability to develope a new game. Choosing not to spend your money on a product doesn’t equal canceling someone’s career or platform. Get a grip.
Diamond Dynasty is what I play haven’t played since The Show 19. This game is absolutely terrible. Early swings are Home runs way too frequently. Perfect Pitches are erratic misses the location way too often.
What's so ugly about it? I guess you never played baseball on the NES or even earlier consoles. Cut and Paste?complaint What can they do different? It's a freaking baseball game.
It is…& it has been for the last 15 years but at least in the PS4 era it change from PS3 to PS4…when is it going to change from PS4 to PS5. I blame the Xbox 😂…when it was dedicated to only PlayStation, we got a better product. Now we have to be downgraded to subpar video gaming to please Xbox customers 🤦🏾♂️🙄

The first clip shows a horrible attempt at Julio Rodriguez’s stance. 😂 He does not close off that much with his front foot. My God…How hard could it be to get the stances right? This game is trash now. They don’t even try anymore.
